Christianity EtcJesus Is God; But Lesser Than God by monehin1easy(op): 9:24am On Oct 17, 2017
Too many christians still find it hard to know who Jesus Christ is. He was Jesus on earth here, but not Jesus in Heaven. According to 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
Can you see that God Almighty gave birth to the Word and this is why John 3:16 makes it clear that ...He gave His only Son (Word). Also, Matthew 3:17 says, "And lo a voice from Heaven, saying, 'This is my beloved Son (Word), in whom I am well pleased.'"
It was by this Word He made the heavens and the earth, and by this Word Mary conceived. The Word manifested in flesh and that is Jesus.
NOTE: Only as a God can He save man; only as a man can He die.
Any questions?!!!!

Brother,
Will you please further explain for me? Please tell me about the "ordinary" church members....
You know what it means by ordinary ma. Then what I mean by ordinary church members are those who go to church when they just feel like going. They don't belong to any department in the church, if they ask them to wait for a brief after the church, they find it stressful, as in, they are always in haste to leave.
Ordinary church members don't welcome members in their homes. They don't have business with the church. Either the church grow or not, they don't care. All they do is to go to church to pray and worship the Almigthy. Beside this, they give their offerings and tithes as at when due. They understand the primary rules of the bible. They don't go to church because of the pastor, they go because they needed to worship God.

When Jesus Christ was asked to come down from the cross as a savior, it was not as if He could not save Himsef with the two thieves, but He did not mind them. I am sure people around there persuaded him to go up to that extend for them to truly believe him... The funniest thing is that somebody was asking if his is dead. Oh Lord, have mercy on us sinners!

Christianity EtcMasturbation Is A Sin by monehin1easy(op): 9:25am On Jun 14, 2017
Indeed, the Bible does not mention masturbation or state whether or not masturbation is a sin. Jesus speaks against having lustful thoughts and then says, “If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.”
The Bible nowhere explicitly states that masturbation is a sin, but there is no question that the actions that usually lead to masturbation are sinful. Masturbation is nearly always the result of lustful thoughts, inappropriate sexual stimulation, and/or pornography. It is these problems that need to be dealt with. If the sins of lust, immoral thoughts, and pornography are forsaken and overcome, masturbation will become much less of an issue and temptation. Many people struggle with guilt concerning masturbation, when, in reality, they would be far better off repenting of the sins that lead them to masturbate.
Matthew 5:28 says, "That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery." Those who masturbate know that they lust after a woman in their heart, they think of one or two women while masturbating.
Except if done with absolutely no lust, immoral thoughts, pornography, etc.
Christianity EtcEverything Works Together For Our Good by monehin1easy(op): 8:47am On Jun 14, 2017
God works everything together for our good.
KJV translates Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
The promise that God works all things together for good does not mean that all things, taken by themselves, are good. Some things and events are decidedly bad. But God is able to work them together for good. He sees the big picture; He has a master plan.
Neither does the promise that God works all things together for good mean we will acquire all that we want or desire. Romans 8:28 is about God’s goodness and our confidence that His plan will work out as He sees fit. Since His plan is always good, Christians can take confidence that, no matter our circumstances or environments, God is active and will conclude things according to His good and wise design. With this knowledge we can learn to be content (see Philippians 4:11).
The principle of God working all things together for good is well illustrated in the Old Testament account of Joseph’s life. Early in Joseph’s life, Joseph’s jealous brothers sold him into slavery. In Egypt, Joseph rises to a position of responsibility. Then, he is unjustly imprisoned and forgotten about by his friends. God gifts him the ability to interpret dreams, and through that ability Joseph is once again raised to a place of honor and power. When drought forces Joseph’s brothers to seek food elsewhere, they travel to Egypt and encounter Joseph, who eventually saves them from starvation and grants them a livelihood in his new land.
Throughout his life, Joseph trusted God no matter his good or bad circumstances. Joseph experienced plenty of bad things: kidnapping, slavery, false accusations, wrongful imprisonment, rejection, and famine. But in the end God brought things to a wonderful, life-affirming conclusion. God blessed Joseph’s entire family through those painful circumstances and through Joseph’s faith. (You can read about Joseph’s life beginning in Genesis 37.)
Paul’s life is another testament to how God works all things together for good. Paul suffered shipwrecks, beatings, imprisonment, murder attempts, temporary blindness, and more—all within God’s plan to spread the gospel (see Acts 9:16 and 2 Corinthians 11:24–27). Through it all, God was steadfastly working to bring about good and glorious results.
After promising that God works all things together for our good, Romans 8 concludes with the wonderful fact that God trumps everything that comes against Him and His. The Christian is assured that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or unclothedness or danger or sword? . . . No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:35–39). God’s love is everlasting, and His wisdom is infinite. It doesn’t matter who or what attempts to thwart God’s plan; no one and nothing can. God will work all things together for the good of those who love Him. Our decision to align our will with God’s and to always trust Him will be rewarded.
In conclusion, God works all things together for good—both His good and our good. As God is glorified, His people benefit.
Are you in any situation now and you think God doesn't know about it? Or may be you are sacked from your place of work, and you think that's the end of it all. In respective of what is happening around you, brethren, God understands it all. All you need to do is never to give up on Him. He is never too late; He is always on time.

Christianity EtcHow Big Is Your God? by monehin1easy(op): 4:57pm On Jun 13, 2017
A Boy asked his Father:- Dad what is the size of GOD?
Then the Father looked up at the Sky and saw a Plane and asked his Son:- What is the size of this Plane?
The Boy replied:- it is very small. I can hardly see it. Then, the father took him to the airport and as they approached a plane, he asked: -
Now, my Son, how big is this Plane?
The boy replied:- Wow dad, it's huge! Then the father told him:- GOD size depends on how close or far you are to him. The closer you are to him, the Greater and Greater he will be in your life!
That is the truth.
Your intimacy will show you the greatness of GOD..... May GOD greatness cover your life and family as you draw closer to Him.
Christianity EtcDon't Be An Intruder by monehin1easy(op): 1:12am On Jun 13, 2017
Caledon Nathan or Cal was Roses' fiance and the antagonist of Titanic. He was supposed to have married of Rose De Witt Bukater when they arrived in Philidelphia, yet her detest for him and her romance with Jack Dawson kept them apart. He was very rich and was able to pay for the whole trip. He was however abusive both physically, emotionally and psychologically. He was also extremely arrogant and snobbish, and an attempted murderer when it became publicly obvious that Rose was in love with Jack and not him. He was 30-years-old at the time of the sinking of the Titanic.
Jack Dawson thought he was smart by hijacking Rose from the rightful owner. And this is what most guys do. They will say, "Since the man has not married her; I can still try my luck." You might not understand this now but I pray that the Holy Spirit will teach you better.
Come to look at this, it was Cal who said that even God could not sink the Titanic ship. When the disaster finally happened, Cal who said that God could not sink the Titanic ship was saved, Rose his promised wife also, but Jack Dawson the intruder was nowhere to be found. He died of hypothermia. If he had left them be, maybe he wouldn't have died anyway. Thank God he called himself a survival.
Let women that are already engaged be, please. Don't be smarter than God. After all, it is just dating, I can still come in and try my luck can end you up badly. Bible says, "Seek and you shall find" and also, "Whosoever find a wife..." Guys nowadays are after someone else's finished work. They don't want to wait for their own time.
...FEAR GOD!!!

Good post....

I think what people mean is that God represents "good" & satan represents "evil".
So then you have the two opposing sides....which translates to many as opposites.

But I totally understand what you are saying....there is none that can compare to God...the great "I Am That I Am!"

Christianity EtcEssence Of Living by monehin1easy(op): 12:04am On Jun 13, 2017
Some people still believe or think that they are here on earth just to enjoy life as it is. Some believe life is all about eat, drink, sleep, grow, make plenty of money, marry, bring up children, be healthy, etc. and when death comes, their good to go.
Brethren, our essence of living is for God's pleasure. Revelation 4:11 says, “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Colossians 1:16 reiterates the point: “All things were created by him and for him.” Being created for God’s pleasure does not mean humanity was made to entertain God or provide Him with amusement. God is a creative Being, and it gives Him pleasure to create. God is a personal Being, and it gives Him pleasure to have other beings He can have a genuine relationship with.
Being made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27), human beings have the ability to know God and therefore love Him, worship Him, serve Him, and fellowship with Him. God did not create human beings because He needed them. As God, He needs nothing. In all eternity past, He felt no loneliness, so He was not looking for a “friend.” He loves us, but this is not the same as needing us. If we had never existed, God would still be God—the unchanging One (Malachi 3:6). The I AM (Exodus 3:14) was never dissatisfied with His own eternal existence. When He made the universe, He did what pleased Himself, and since God is perfect, His action was perfect. “It was very good” (Genesis 1:31).
Finally my brethren, God has actually created us to live a good life, so that He can derive pleasure. A life that will make us spend eternity with Him. A life that He will joyfully welcome us into His kingdom.
Are you still living today, and you want to spend eternity with God the supreme being? May be you always believe that your purpose of living is for yourself and that is all. You can not enjoy with God on the last day if you refuse to discontinue in that way of life.
To spend the eternity with Him, you need to acknowledge that you are a sinner. And that God should forgive all your sins. Let Him alone be the manager of your life. And I pray He will always derive pleasure from your way of living in Jesus Christ name, amen.
Christianity EtcGod Does Not Have Opposite by monehin1easy(op): 11:56pm On Jun 12, 2017
I remember when I was in Primary School. My teacher taught me opposite of so many things. Said the opposite of boy is girl; opposite of man is woman; opposite of up is down; opposite of right is left; etc. When I got to Secondary School, I was taught that opposite of dog is bitch; opposite of light is darkness; opposite of cow is bull; opposite of white is black; opposite of good is evil; opposite of cry is laugh; etc.
But there is this opposite that teachers tell their learners, which I just noticed incorrect. Teachers say that opposite of God is Satan (error). If you study your Bible very well, you will see that everything God created has opposite. He created day and night, He created good and evil, He created man and woman; etc. Therefore, it is wrong to say that Satan is God's opposite. How can God create angels and still make one of them His own opposite.
We are all in our own classes, but God is alone in His own class. He does not have number two. After Him no one. After God, it is still God.
May the Almighty God overwhelm us with His divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

It is true that givers will continue to have while beggars will continue to beg.
In fact, we don't give because we have, we give because we want to have. Those who give will never lack. Also, when you give, you are reminding God of your blessing to come. Please, let's learn how to give.
Quote me, if God sees that you can't give someone a million naira, He will never make you a millionaire.

Most people think God is interested in their money. If not having offering and tithes will make you not to attend services then you are not a Christian.
God has interest in our money o. In fact, the fastest way to be blessed is by giving our substances. He said He will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that even a room can not contain them.

Although, it is not good to go to the house of God empty handed. But nevertheless, God sees your heart. You can go and give God your dancing as offering. Don't let 'no money' discourage you.
