Israel would have secured a lasting peace by wiping out Islamic regime in Iran if they had the same military might of the US, not this short-term peace that US keeps affording Iran which they use to go rebuild their destroyed military assets.

CAF should structure the next WC qualifications in such as way the 4 teams that made semi finals in the AFCON secures automatic qualifications to the WC, while the other teams participates in the regular group games to secure the remaining African WC slots.

Some people for no let us hear word if that Portugal's second goal fired from outside the 18 yard box that the Chilian Goalkeeper let in was conceded by Maduka. But some people that have seen it are doing as if not happened while waiting and lurking around the Internet space for the next time a goalkeeper will make a save from a longshot outside the 18 yard box and rush to post the link here in order to spite maduka cheesy grin

but to be honest this shot was easier for the goalkeeper to anticipate as it never changed trajectory while in motion. Both scenarios are different and one cannot be use as against yardstick the other.

MetalJigsaw:
Too many changes spoilt the starting team and the cohesion, especially the midfield. The midfield duo of Onyeka and Nnadi and the pressing of Moffi and Akor upfront would have undoubtedly prevented that shot.

Chelle was thinking everybody must play.
you're very correct, I wanted Adam to be subbed at half time but not for Onuachu, he doesn't press well under Chille's system. Even Iheanacho can press a lot better that him and offer more goal and assist threats.

Chelle should be inviting Iheanacho instead.

The long range shot changed tractectory at some point, reason why I believe Okoye had difficulty putting it out.

Wow, look at how people are already downgrading our first eleven because this team won a team that is ranked 71th on FIFA ranking and also did not parade their strongest players. Someone is even pushing for the likes of Iwobi to be phased out. Sure there are some positives to take away from the tournament but I think some of you are overdoing this already. Calm down o

Despite his goals and heroics with Celtic, he looks unfit and runs like an old man. Na Scotland be hin level now.

He does not possess the agility, mobility, grit and hard work that Chelle demands from his players in the Super Eagles.

His time with the Super Eagles is past. He brings no value to the team now, and the team has grown beyond him.
some current players in the SE didn't have that initially either, but they managed to incorporate that to their playing style when featuring for the SE under Chelle. So we can't rule out that for Iheanacho when he hasn't gotten a run of games under Chelle.
His time has not passed for the SE inasmuch as he is still getting results and scoring crucial goals.

This is what Marvellous Basco refers to...

I'll say it again, Iheanacho should be invited to the SE. He is beginning to look like the Iheanacho of Man City before the Pep join the club, and now that Pep is leaving the club where he met Iheanacho, Iheanacho seems to be picking up that form again. Maybe they're all connected somehow.

Iheanacho should be invited for the upcoming S.E. fixtures
TheSuperNerd:
Kelechi "SuperSub" Iheanacho strikes AGAIN! Scores the Winner as Celtic secures a 2-1 win away at Hibernian in the Scottish Topflight (SPFL) and still keeps Celtic in the Title race with Rangers and Hearts.

His 7th goal across all competitions and 4th league goal from 10 games (2 starts).

Manipulated Poll.

It's obvious that most of the people who will vote GEJ will also vote Yar Adua and OBJ so you put the three names to divide the voters and their votes but you didn't do the same for Tinubu and Būhari, by leaving out Būhari from the poll and featuring only Tinubu cheesy

TheSuperNerd:
Backline is sorted.

Nigeria can comfortably line up 2 different back fours now.

In midfield, we need to get the backup profiles sorted. Iwobi's backup still not sorted. Onyeka's too. Even Ndidi's as Onyedika should not be the one and only fallback option in Ndidi's absence as he still matures.

More Midfield options to consider specifically for the diamond setup are Akinsanmiro for Iwobi's role, David Moses of Slavia Prague for Onyeka's role, Nnadi and Dennis for Ndidi's role, and much more options touching all the midfield roles in the diamond.

In attack... Lookman needs a solid backup. The 4312/442 diamond sees Lookman sit in the hole behind the strikers but also has the license to roam across the entire final third seeing him pop up dangerously across in gaps centrally, in the halfspaces or wingwards.
Who steps into this role when Lookman sits it out for even one game? Chukwueze is an option but we need more.

The 2 man attack.. Osimhen and Akor... We need 4 solid options aside Victor and Adams. Badass options. CF combos that sync nicely and can possibly sync with the main man Victor.

The Project Solid 22 is on.
may God remember Iheanacho and restore his form. Having an in-form Iheanacho and Lookman for that role behind the two strikers will be a very big boost to the team. Any shot on target from an in-form Iheanacho is goal, plus his defense-splitting and pinpoint passes.

So there's no point rejecting Nigerian refs on the ground that "they are corrupt" when CAF is brazenly and flagrantly parading corrupt officials to do their corrupt biddings on an international scale.

Always wanting to overrate players

Nigeria is lucky to have chelle

I told someone that Senegal will beat morocco

If we met these same Senegal in the final, we would still loose. Forget it
Senegal won't have played against Nigeria this way because the way they are playing Morocco with extra fire is because they feel they have to deal with them for trying to rob them.

The teams that made the semi finals of this AFCON are the most in form teams currently and should be representing Africa in the world cup.
