What's your definition of fake? If he got the original Benin passport through their immigration, you can not call the passport a fake but can be termed as acquiring through fraudulent means.

The man committed a crime that is severe over there (15years minimum), they wouldn't let him go untill he has received him punishment there. Nigeria cant do shit. How many Beninese are Nigeria passport holders? How many Chadian? Yes there law says 15 years imprisonment but passport case is not that strong globally.. It's something that would be dropped.
