the renting of government plantation (#3,000 per hectare) was said to have been suspended till next year due to on-going construction of irrigation system.

Thanks for showing your interest in the Agric and real sectors of the global economy. We are about getting a plantation restoration contract in Edo and we are starting a R& for Benin and the entire Edo State in terms of Oil Palm and Cassava Plantations. I think Ogun and Edo are almost on the same agric belt for Cassava and Maize production.

First tell us how much you rented your Hectare of Farm
Then tell us how much per ton or per truck cassava is sold in Benin
Tell us how much they pay to process Cassava into Garri, Cassava Flour, Cassava Chips, Ethanol and other feed stocks.

STAGE 1: Get a tractor to plough the hectare twice at an interval of 8 days if it is up to 1 Hectare.
STAGE 2: Source for local Cassava with good yield record like 20 Tons-50 Tons per Hectare
STAGE 3: Contact me for a new type of liquid fertilizer to enhance leaves/root/flower production costing #18,000 for 2 Hectares or for 1 Hectare of Cassava and Maize.

Endeavour to weed your farm like monthly for 3 months when maize is there and every 2 moths after maize harvest. Cassava normally take 8-10 months and some may be left for 12-13-15 months so as to hit the 50 metric ton target.

The 2 Hectares share a boundary with the Ogun-Osun Federal Government irrigated plantation (#3,000 per Hectare per year).

Renting the irrigated plantation to the public will commence next year and a source told me the renting will be 1 Farmer to 1 Hectare. Kind of competitive.
