CBN needs to play her role as a regulator of these banks and not to be selective most times. This issue happened during Sanusi's reign and he had to kill some promising banks due to personal grudges he has for some CEOs. Last week, Erastus Akingbobola was freed by the court after all the furore of siphoning people's funds. CBN needs a template of regulating these banks to avoid giving room for politics.
