I think he needs a sabbatical. Man has not been the same for a while now.

If Walker had not requested to leave City, Pep would have started him today 100%.

2-0 up, struggling with physicality and Kovacic's positioning OOP? Yeah, take him off for Grandpa Gundo.

Leave Bernardo to just form activity on the pitch. Can't run, head, shoot - but he is press-resistant even though Brentford are using long balls.

I don't even trust Pep with overseeing the rebuild. He'll be arguing he can still do it with his current squad when fit.

He should go and fix his issues with his wife. Xabi Alonso can we have you now?

Yes,maybe government reserve lands, aside that every land has a owner.Even in the mangroves, you would be surprised that people will lay claims to it.

For context; On December 31st,my bus broke down on the lagos-ibadan just at the outskirts of Ode-Remo town,Ishara side. About 50km to ibadan. On the left side of the express,it is just a vast thick forest as far as your eyes can see and to my greatest surprise at the opposite side of the express were there were few settlements, a woman told me all that forest close to the main road is sold out by the chiefs , the only vacant ones are family lands behind the main road. So pls no go dey think say empty lands no get owner.
Is this not what I’ve been saying all along? The “chiefs” (or as I call them, land grabbers) have been selling off our lands. But do they actually own these lands? It seems as if it is only the "chiefs" have ancestral land, while ordinary people like us fell from heaven without forefathers or ancestors who possessed land. This cycle repeats itself season after season.

I’m familiar with these individuals, and I know what I’m saying. Some of their children are our friends, and I know a chief who has benefited from the royalties of land sales multiple times, despite having no real connection to the land. Not once, not twice, but on several occasions year in year out. I don’t want to say too much because someone might recognize me from this moniker.

Let me share a story (though I won’t go into too much detail). In October 2020, a Chinese company wanted to purchase land in the Simawa area. However, they insisted on meeting all the family members involved before proceeding with the purchase.

So, these individuals scrambled to find people to stand on a piece of land, pose with an elderly person bearing one of the ancient surnames, take pictures, and then collect the money. Although the share that was given to them was insignificantly small, it was still “free money.” It was a sham, and I witnessed it firsthand.

This raises a critical question, if the property is genuinely yours, why would you need to find people to share the money with? Wouldn’t you be the sole beneficiary of the sale? The fact that they’re searching for people to fill gaps for non-existent "families" suggests that the ownership is questionable, and they’re trying to fabricate legitimacy.

The question again, why only the "chiefs" always have land to sell?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MorataFC: 3:23pm On Jan 12, 2025
Why is it always the same group of people in charge of selling land? TThese set of people have been selling land since before some of us were born and are still selling till tomorrow. Were the rest of us not born in the same villages and towns? Don’t we have ancestors like them?
Why do they need to move around with guns, thugs, and charms? If their business is genuine, why do they need to arm themselves with ammunition, as if they're preparing for World War III?

Take, for instance, one Alhaji in Ogijo who has been selling land since the ’90s and is still sells it till today. He claims all the land, from Ogijo to Simawa, belongs to his father. Not even the federal government owns such vast stretches of land.

These people are nothing but land grabbers. If you don’t believe me, I believe you. Case closed.

Point of correction, there is no land that is far from settlement. If you look around very land, there is a likely village or hamlet very close by . Stop giving the wrong advice. Every land belongs to someone.
Clap for yourself, so from Lagos to calabar every land has owner, from Oyo to Borno state every land has owner. 🤣😅😁😂😆

Those ancestors are the first settlers in those areas . Let me give u an example ; the place called Oshodi in Oshodi/Isolo Local government of Lagos used to be bush , more like Farm land .

The original Oshodi is on Lagos Island which is domiciled by the Oshodi-Tapa family . So more like the family on the island started farming on the Oshodi-oko on the mainland when it was not inhabited by any other group or family .

Years after they can lay claim to the land because they are the first inhabitant of the land .

What u have been saying all morning is that let’s say Ibime has money , thugs and should now proceed to say he wants to grab the Oshodi land because he feels he can just grab it in spite of the history behind the land . U will surprised at how many Oshodi family descendants will come for him either legally , physically or spiritually .

It’s either because u never see land wahala before or u no just like Ibime at all ; cos that ur advice to him lasan 😂
You are missing the points.
Go and read my first post. I said the land that are far from settlement.

You better disabuse ur mind of this kind of thoughts .

Those lands are people’s ancestral lands, some of which they even take government to court and win against them as far back as the colonial era when the privy council is the highest court of the land .

Most of the lands in Lagos and some parts of Ogun state like Ota , Totowu, etc are owned by different indigenous Awori families . And their title to the lands are traceable and well documented . Even the lands government grabbed from them like the one in Magodo, they contest them in court and usually win at the end though it might take decades for the case to get settled .
Those lands are indeed people's ancestral lands, but have you ever wondered how their ancestors acquired them? Did they purchase the land from someone, or did they bring it down from heaven? The truth is, all of these lands were initially grabbed by them, and it's on basis of first come, first served.

There are still many unclaimed lands, particularly those far from inhabited communities, as I mentioned earlier in my first post. These areas remain untouched, waiting to be developed and grabbed. It's a stark reminder that land ownership often boils down to who claimed it first.

There is no land that isn't linked to someone (I may be wrong).

Telling him to go and grab 25 hectares without due diligence is just telling him to burn his money with a lit candle. [/color]
I didn't advise him to pay for the land, all I said was 'if he is indigene', he should grab it, that money quoted up there is for court case if any unforeseen drama want to manifest, which I believe will not happen because that land is unclaimed virgin land. grin grin grin

It is survival of the fittest, I have witnessed many, if you like believe me or not.
No one brings the land from heavens, all the land been sold today are all grabbed.

Lagos-Calabar coastal highway has reached the border with Ogun State

Does anyone know if the lands around the highway are available for sale? They look like village lands that might still be available

One thing I know is even if Tinubu does not complete the road to Calabar, he will complete the Yoruba side and some of these lands might offer better commute to VI than from some parts of Mainland

If you're an indigenous person with financial means, I will just say go and find another notable vocal guy to yourself and grab as much land as desired, grab up to 20-25 hectares. You'll likely be surprised that no one will challenge your claim.
All these self-proclaimed 'omo onile' who assert land ownership based on ancestral claims are all liars and they are nothing but land grabbers, I'm talking from experience, very very diabolical set of people

Many of these individuals don't have legitimate connections to the land they are selling, just because they know that the land belongs to no one.
That is the reason you will see 5 to 8 families disputing ownership of some lands, knowing full well it doesn't belong to any of them. It's simply a case of survival of the fittest.

While I acknowledge that land near inhabited communities usually has recognized ownership, but vast areas far from settlements are often unclaimed and belong to no one. Ultimately, land is a natural resource that no one can claim to have brought from heaven.

The Dangote refinery is a prime example. We were told that the land belong to the Lagos State Government. However, after it was announced that Dangote paid a sum of $100 million to the Lagos State Government, numerous families came out to lay claim to the land. They are all land grabber.
Where were they all these years?

If the AS couple is not married, they should go their separate ways.

If they are already married, then PGD is an option, but they have to consider the financial and emotional cost, as well as the ethical implications.
Of course, it should be ideally done with IVF, but the cost implication then rises as it might take multiple cycles to get a viable embryo that can then be tested. But the ethical issue then arises if the embryo is tested and is found to have the genetic mutation, meaning it has to be destroyed.

If done without IVF but through natural conception the ethical dilemma is even worse as the woman runs the risk of recurrent pregnancies that then have to be aborted if found to carry the mutation.

In either scenario the potential emotional damage after going through this several times to get one healthy baby, and then doing so several times more for further children, can only be imagined. Not to talk of the draining of resources.
