I agreed it is a foul, but we have see numbers of this be given as goals.
If it's a foul, then it should be a foul for every single time. My issue isn't the decision itself, it's the inconsistency. The same type of incident shouldn't be judged differently depending on the tournament, league or team, goal should goal, and foul should be foul, and it should apply to every football team under FIFA

I think he has a point. I’ve been saying this for a while now. The whole point of football is to score goals, so the rules for what counts should be clear and the same for everyone.

If Team A scores and it’s given, then Team B should get the same call for the exact same goal. It shouldn’t be disallowed because it’s a different tournament or team. That kind of inconsistency is what causes all the arguments.

Football will always have arguments , but the rules need to be applied the same way every time. There is no referee that is 100% perfect, that's why VAR was introduced, Fans can deal with tough calls, What they can’t deal with is seeing the same situation given differently in another game, If it had been my team whose goal was disallowed like that , I would have been ranting too.
