Good day, guys.

There was a heated debate this afternoon on the sports segment of Fresh FM Ibadan about our team. The anchor asked: Between Tuchel’s team that won the UEFA Champions League against Manchester City and the current squad that won the Club World Cup against PSG, which squad is better?

The question split the opinions of the co-analysts into two. One group believes the 2021 UCL-winning squad is better, while the other argues that the current squad is more balanced, though there was unanimous agreement that Tuchel’s defence was stronger than the current one.
But when it came to deciding which overall team is better, the analysts and listeners who called in remained clearly divided.

Now, to my fellow Chelsea fans here, which team do you think is better, the 2021 UCL-winning squad or the current one?

What is Ten Hag cooking?
The game ended 5:1, Imagine a 15-odds team beating a 1.05-odds team, and it’s not even a senior team o, it is Flamingo under-20 side o, yet some people still have the nerve to beef us, claiming we only face weak teams in the Club World Cup tournament.
So Brazila league is a weak team now? Wonderful .

Vini would obviously be paid more
1. He plays for Real Madrid
2. More famous than Osimhen
3. More club achievements (trophies) than Osimhen
4. He's a Brazilian
You dey mind them, how many England footballers is earning 40 Milla per year, what of Spain , German or France are those ones undervalued too?

In the past 10 years, how many different teams have won the English Premier League compared to PSG in the French league? Who is the current epl champions?

As you mentioned, PSG often faced tired European teams, while Chelsea had to play Brazilian teams full of energy and better adapted to the weather conditions during the Club World Cup.

No wonder Botafogo was the only team to defeat PSG before we beat them in the final. Chelsea had a tougher path in the tournament because they faced strong and energetic Brazilian teams.
Wow, wow,wow.👏👏👏
That’s a very compelling argument and a sharp observation, something we have not considered before.
So it mean PSG only wins against fatigued teams.
What do you have to say, NoisemakerGroper?

Once you are there, the opposition can only watch and wait and wail for the next four years, unless they somehow manage to form an alliance to impeach you. But the good news for us is that this Club World Cup throne we’ve taken, No impeachment possible.
We are here for the full four-year term, and trust me, we’re going for that second term too before we even think about stepping aside for a while. 😂😂😂

At first, I thought it was just one of those usual transfer rumours. But now, it seems it’s becoming real.
Honestly, I just hope it is still just a rumour, because Cole Palmer is not for sale, not even for the double of the quoted price

President Donald Trump was seen pocketing a Club World Cup winners medal onstage moments before he handed Chelsea the trophy.

Infantino appeared to shrug off the incident, flashing the thumbs up and allowing Trump to keep the medal.

I don't think this issue would have dragged on this long if we had an active OP as the thread creator. He was online on Sunday while watching the match as a viewer, though he didn’t drop any comment, and since then we have been calling on him without any response.

This is exactly what happened in 2021 after we won our second UCL title, we had to practically use Muhammed to beg Jesus before he finally responded, and that was around the third or fourth day.

Going forward, anyone who knows they won't be available to attend to people's concerns on the thread shouldn't bother creating it in the first place.

If Yamal is not careful with all the scandals and controversies surrounding him, it could affect his stardom.
How old is he, sef? A small boy trying to live large like an adult. He really needs a good mentor or manager to guide him.

Todd Boehly:

"We couldn't have wished for a better outcome for our boys, who have done such good work and trained so hard, and really came together under Enzo's leadership and direction. No one gave us a chance to beat PSG. The boys thrived and grew on that. Watching them come together has been very special. Form that you have seen is everything we hoped when we were putting this together with Laurence and Paul. Behdad and I couldn't be more grateful for the success that they've had and for all Chelsea fans everywhere who are so thrilled. Thank you for sticking with us. We're really excited about what the future holds."

"We knew all along in the value of project. It came together brilliantly. Those are odds you can't predict. We're hopeful that everyday that we wake up, the odds are that Chelsea is going to win something big."

"It is all still hard to digest. It's been surreal. The thing that made the day was how well the boys played. They had nothing to lose. They put it all out there. They were so organised and methodical. The plan that Enzo laid out was so well done. The combination of the planning and execution couldn't make me more proud."

"The boys have shown that they are a force to be reckoned with. That's what we were hoping for."

Message to Chelsea fans:

"Keep the blue flag flying high."

Good one. I'm Oliver Twist ooo, we still need a backup for Cucurella, a quality winger who can play effectively on both the left and right, and a backup goalkeeper (I say 'backup' because Sanchez really surprised me on Sunday). Maybe one more striker too. Our midfield is okay. grin

Maybe he blocked you.
Wow.
So the same person who constantly criticized my views without holding back has now suddenly disappeared from the thread? After our win witg psg yesterday, I went to my mentions to remind him of my stance, especially since he had previously quoted me to rubbish my opinion on the match , only to discover that all his posts were gone. Someone then said he might have blocked me. Wow.

That says everything.

It’s always easy to dish out criticism when you feel untouchable, but the moment you are held to the same standard, you fold and run. Blocking someone just because you lost an argument or can’t handle the same heat you freely give others isn’t just weak, it’s pure cowardice.

If you can not take it, don’t dish it. Simple.
That’s the hallmark of a weak mentality. Anyone who blocks people simply because they were proven wrong is not someone worth engaging with. There's no room for honest debate with someone that is fragile upstairs.
