AmoryBlacq: I am optimistic we'll make it to the final. Any team we meet there is tactically and technically superior than us. Anyway, I'll take my chances with PSG. Madrid in a final, however weakened the team may seem, is a capital no, no. Me too |

Katcall: same madueke that plays like a lone ranger or another one That’s just it. Below is a post from one frustrated Chelsea fan about him. When assessing what makes a good team player in football, key attributes such as selflessness, work rate, positional discipline, and the ability to contribute to team chemistry stand out. Unfortunately, Noni Madueke often falls short on all these counts, and his performances at Chelsea reflect this.
1. Selfishness in Decision-Making One of the most glaring issues with Madueke’s game is his tendency to hold on to the ball for too long, even when simpler and more productive options are available. Time and again, he chooses to take on defenders or attempt an ambitious shot when there's a teammate unmarked and better positioned to score. This selfish streak directly contributes to his low assist count over the years. Football is a team sport, and any player who consistently ignores passing opportunities for personal glory becomes a liability, not an asset.
2. Lack of Defensive Contribution In the modern game, especially in high-intensity leagues like the Premier League, wingers are expected to track back and support their full-backs. Madueke, however, often neglects his defensive duties, leaving his flank exposed. This is not only damaging to the team’s shape but also places undue pressure on defenders who are forced to cover more ground.
3. Lone Ranger Mentality Madueke plays as if he’s in his own world. He doesn’t seem to read the rhythm of the team or adapt to its flow. His off-the-ball movement is minimal, and there’s little to no chemistry between him and fellow attackers. This isolationist approach makes it difficult for the team to build fluid attacking transitions, as he's not someone others can easily play off.
4. Lack of Urgency and Seriousness Body language matters in football, and Madueke’s is concerning. He often walks around the pitch casually, showing minimal urgency or intensity. His demeanor suggests a lack of hunger or ambition, which is completely out of place in a team trying to rebuild and compete at the highest level.
5. Focus on Personal Glory Too often, Madueke seems more interested in highlight-reel moments than the hard, thankless tasks that win games. Whether it's unnecessary dribbles, flashy movements, or awkward shot attempts, it's clear that he's chasing moments of individual brilliance rather than team success. My submission Madueke is undoubtedly talented, but football isn't just about individual skill, it’s about how that skill contributes to the team. His tendency to hold onto the ball too long, lack of awareness to team work, etc etc . The goal of any player especially a winger is either to score or create assists . Even if you complete a thousand and ten dribbles in a game, it amounts to nothing if there’s no end product. Until Madueke starts playing more for the team and less for personal flair, it will be hard to fully rely on him in a serious setup. |

Griffon: As we make progress in the CWC, let’s not forget that we may face some serious fatigue challenges midway through the season.
It’s been “serious” weeks of high level of energy contests and excruciating heat in the States. The players will no doubt be tired by the time this tournament is over.
Then we can expect to see some couple of lackluster performances as the season progresses. This is just my fear, I hope the manager with the recent additions can find a way to split the minutes between everyone without us losing the enthusiasm to compete on all fronts. nothing much, we can use this CWC as our pre-season and give the players rest when other teams are playing their own preseason, but I know it won't happen like that. |

Trevor012: See Neves o Two footballers died, brothers from the same mother, died in a car crash. But the world is only talking about the famous one, people post tribute and mourn him, all the TVs station are only talking about him,as if the other guy's life doesn’t matter. Is he not human too? Does he not deserve to be remembered? This is how the world shows bias, only the well-known get sympathy and attention. This selective grief reflect a deep rooted bias where recognition is reserved for the celebrated ones alone Every life matters, not just the popular ones. This is pure sentiment and it’s not right. Rest in peace Diogo Jota Rest in peace Andre Silva. |

TemporaryHansel: Lol, even before the election people already smelled a rat and were advising Gej to remove jega. One of such people was fayose. There was a lot Gej could've done if he wasn't weak. With the way you keep defending Gej, hope you aren't like him oh. E be like we go tie you flog that spirit of weakness cormot your body. There's no doubt that Jonathan was actually weak, but in fairness, there was little he could do under the 2015 election circumstances. Even someone as audacious as Babangida, when he realized the presidency seat had become too hot to sit on, facing mounting opposition from various regions and sensing that his life was at risk, then he chose to Maradona his way out by saying, "I step aside." Honestly, how many heads of state in world history have ever willingly stepped aside like that? If GEJ had tried to cling to power like some desperate politicians, many lives could have been lost, and his own life might not have been safe either, remember what happened to Abacha? |
