WannaHowzit:Is that supposed to be suggestive of some implied superior disposition on your part ? |
WannaHowzit:Thats a weak rebuttal if you ask me. Don't attack the personality. Attack the point. |
JaceBlaze:Yes, because when it becomes complicated, the brain checks out or simplifies the matter. let me give you more stuff to run away from as well. When an inference is made on data it requires a certain percentage of a confidence interval required to determine if the sample sizes used vary and are ubiquitous enough to lend credence to that statistical inference. |
JaceBlaze:Point 1. Who is trying to impress you. Already know you have deficiences, this is for all on nairaland to interpret. Point 2. Just say you want me to speak in lay man's terms and I will, no need to digress. If you count a random sample of any 10 Nigerians this means that 9 of them are definitively poor, no? Point 3. If we are to interpret these statistical extrapolations as you do, this would amount to the same statistical interpretation that 1 in 5 South Africans is HIV positive. If you count 5 of your friends (random sample) this would "definitively" mean at least 1 of them was HIV positive, shame? You are a buffoon but you just don't know it yet. |
JaceBlaze:When one thinks that the mastery of "statistical extrapolations and inferences" on raw metadata is a definitive approach to logical arguements then one's bantu education has truly failed him. Only a buffon would believe that an "extrapolative inference" of a population size like Nigeria with over 100 million people would indeed have an illiteracy level of 90%. You really believe that for every 10 Nigerians you have ever met, 9 of them are poor. Try testing that theory out in your country, see if it holds. |
WannaHowzit:I am beginning to suspect you Wannahowzit is a "colored" or at worst a " my bruh" type South Africans. Hmmmmm ![]() |
JaceBlaze:illiteracy has nothing to do with the level of intelligence in groups of people. It only points to the lack of access to "information" that would propel them out of impoverished states within a hierarchial construct required to advance up pyramid of needs. That's why Nigera Correlation does not imply causation you illiterate numskull. |
WannaHowzit:Yawning simply signifies that the truth has been spoken. |
WannaHowzit:Which outsiders are destroying it. You are managing that all by yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwH6os1Y1p4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgD_0Aycgrc |
Samantha123:I strongly suggest you not argue with people without any sense of facts or experience and only depend on social media for their information. It's a waste of your breath. One thing I have personally noticed about South Africans is the effects and consequences of the aftermath of Apartheid. I have noticed that this is crosses with experiences of African Americans as well and do see a lot of similarities in the psychologies of both peoples. |
Samantha123:Don't mind out competitive nature, its a consequence of our environment. Imagine you grew up in a country where there are 1,00 people gunning to buy a loaf of bread from 5 spaza shops in the area. You have to become ruthless in your mannerisms. We are built that way. |
WannaHowzit:Are you just opening this threads for views or something. You do know Seun is the one who is making money off all of this, neh! |
Samantha123:I look forward to civil discussions between the two nationalities. There is an unfortunate stereotyping that I know exists in South Africa about the average Nigerian and I believe this to be the major issue behind this animosity. I also owe this to the fact about the "group" of Nigerians that generally migrate to South Africa and skewing this perception. I dare any South African to come to Nigeria and spend time with the people here. It will be impossible to go back home with the same mind set. My two cents. |
WannaHowzit:Correction: My favorite people on this forum.! The planet has 7 billion people, wena! |
WannaHowzit:Ahhhhhh shat up Wena! |
JaceBlaze:THe accolades are extremely important because it says that the people from these countries are naturally endowed with brilliance irrespective of geographical constraints that have been thrust upon them as result of neo colonialism and the manifest destiny doctrine of Western civilization. |
Samantha123:I second this opinion about both countries cultures and believe there is a difference that would create conflicts down the line were both nationalities to get married or want long term relationships. Now I am not saying it is impossible for different cultures to get married and last but Nigeria is a very conservative culture with certain strict rules applying to marriage and relationships btw men and women. I also believe there is a false perception that Nigerian men are extravagant on their women and this attracts a certain type of SA woman to these sorts of men. That myth needs to be dispelled as any relationship that is formed on this basis is superficial and will not stand the test of time. Food is another big deal. SA and nigerian foods are far apart from each other and most Nigerian men would expect any woman they marry to at least attempt at making their food. This generally creates issues down the line as well. South Africa culture on the other hand tends to be a bit more liberal to its approach to marriage and relationships. Samantha123:I don't believe in this stereotype of lazy black SA men but I do believe there exists a certain amount of jealousy for the successes of foreign black Africans from South African men as it should be owing to the fact that noone would like to see another successful person existing in spaces they believe they are entitled to or reserved for them. |
LeSudAfricaine:"unhealthy" is relative in this instance so that point is moot. LeSudAfricaine:We can go back and forth on this forever and saying I have not a million times will not change that fact this happened. LeSudAfricaine:My mind is total free from the unfortunate state of an ego which is why I continue to bother you so much. Do not conflate Confidence for arrogance. |
LeSudAfricaine:Stop trying to sound like you have discovered something that wasn't known for a very long time. LeSudAfricaine:Just cause you don't acknowledge the work doesn't mean it wasn't done so you can scream it out loud as much as you want. It will not change the fact, no? If you were a clever little boy you would have observed carefully the "theme" of all my respond threads throughout the years but then again you aren't that smart so i am not surprised. LeSudAfricaine:There is method to the madness young padowen, people often confuse genius for crazy. Look at Kanye! |
A simple DNA analysis test will solve all this gibberish being written here. I greatly suspect that if conducted it will show a majority paternal lineage of these fringe amalgamated groups as being predominantly Igbo in origin. If this were to be the case then "culturally speaking" these groups would be under the umbrella of Igboid groups. but Alas no one will even suggest such a comprehensive genetic study because they are "afraid" of what they might find out. My two cents. |
LeSudAfricaine:I did a lot of work there and only got obsessed after 2008's xenophobic attacks, ever since then haven't stopped and probably won't. you have to live with me until the machines finally kill me off but until then. Let the party continue. |
LeSudAfricaine:for years I argued almost everything on this forum under my avatars Sepuku and Morpheus24, except the religous section. I don't like getting into that subject matter. Seun's website crashed and we lost a lot of very valuable threads. If you know when that happened then you will know how long I have been jacking into the matrix. As for getting tired. Dont ya mofo's get tired of being xenophobic in your country? You've been at it since 2008? |
LeSudAfricaine:What are you on about you dodo head? |
LeSudAfricaine:I don't always do that, sometimes you guys ping me and I come answering. Ps I am not on nairaland everyday mind you, just when I get the itch. |
JaceBlaze:Lying down sipping on Chapman and eating my double sausage extra spicy shawarma. I am resting. |
JaceBlaze:You decimated the comparison or you strawman'd it. Can't you see that your capacity to look beyond anything South African is on display here. The insight into that comparison is beyond you because you obviously lack enough information to decipher it. I gave you what you need if it is beyond your critical thinking skills. I can't help you much Mfethu. Like I said others will see it. You don't have to worry. The information is not only for you. Ps. turning off my gen. |
JaceBlaze:Oh yes, Intel my friend. |
JaceBlaze:Broaden your world viewpoint and see why the reference to migratory patterns in Mexico- a country which is obviously doing better than SA is absolutely relevant in the 'argument" you are having with the rest of Africa. Ps - at the highlighted, how can you find it undesirable to go to somewhere you are already at ? |
