I think we need to see. I have a Toyota Camry 2007. I have a problem with the AC, my technician have seal the leakage (as claimed by him) 3 times but every time, it keeps running out of gas , this last time the gas didn't even last a week. What do you think?

Can't really say anything right now,until I see your car and run proper leakage check.

Hello Mosbus, my car AC stopped chilling. The gas was refilled but after two days, it stopped chilling and the AC guy "topped" the gas.

Two days after, it is not chilling.
The AC guy said the system is not leaking (at least to his eyes) and AC compressor is pumping fine.

Just some "oily" points on the connections to the condenser (see pix)

If there is no leakage on the pipes check evaporator or compressor for leak.

Even as a professional in your field, it is perfectly normal to hear out your colleagues suggestions on an issue except you feel insecure. Doesn't mean you will act on it. Nobody is stealing any customer here neither will I cancel my appointment with Kingreign to start looking for Mobus. I have been transparent enough to Mosbus in my post so I don't know what your problems are.

my wife car is 1998 QX4 infiniti. Yes the car is old but still runs well with minimal issues but the bane of the car is the a/c. we have spent over 200k fixing it still yet no joy. What have we not changed? we have changed compressor more than 5 timess. changed the evaporator, changed the condenser etc all bought brand new but still yet no joy. once gas is filled within a month it will stop cooling.. obviously there is a leak but the technician could not detect it.

we have used over 4 technician but still the same problem. although they were not using dye fren.. u know our local tech now, they use water and soap to check leaks after filling with gas. lol

where can i see you to assist me with the car.. really wanna solve this problem once and for all.. i dont like the way mdam sweat in the car while driving in this heat. my location is ibadan

Good morning,

I have a CRV 08 with AC issues. Issue started after repair damages caused by a front impact. The mechanic told me his boys cut a hose or something. The AC man fixed the cut(he said he did). AC work a week and started blowing hot. I've called about three other guys now and the evaporator and filter have been changed yet the gas keeps leaking. One used soap and water to check and found nothing. The AC works well for around a week after refill then nothing.
I got a new guy who is asking to repair the condenser and refill for 15k. I'm tired of just wasting my cash.
NB: the ambient temperature no longer shows after the impact. Dont know if it has effect.

The ambient sensor has no effect concerning the leak,is either the sensor wire is not connected or the sensor isn't there.seems they have changed your evaporator,I will advise you change your compressor and all the lines should be check properly with the condenser

Good day sir. Pls help me out. I drive a cerato 2008. The car works fine without ac. I bought it without ac. I paid an ac guy to help install a used compressor n condenser. Now when I put on d ac, d car starts to vibrate heavily n will eventually loose power. So I can't even put on d ac now. Pls could it be d compressor that was installed?

Your air conditioning is supposed to be controlled by your ECU,but is so unfortunately your compressor is wired directly,and no vacuum control.

Good day Sir. I drive a Toyota Corolla 2002 without any AC issues after years of usage. I noticed the AC switch blinking while driving today and stopped cooling, I had to switch Off and On again which started cooling again and after about 5 minutes again, the Ac switch started blinking again without cooling. Please what could be wrong ?

Possible cause.
1,check engine belt
2,check your engine RPM,if it is very low.
3,faulty torque sensor,is located under the compressor.

Dear Mosbus I need ur advice, this car right here has been giving me AC issue, I have for a month now decided to let it be after several times of unsuccessful AC repairs. Since last year till now, I have changed it’s compressor, condenser, hose, valve and done flushing at every occasion 5times but still, it doesn’t work as expected.

The last one was early last month when I decided to take it to a so called expert at Ladipo for the first time, they replaced everything flushed the entire system and I even had to change the fan and within 5days, it stopped chilling well and was doing low pumping. When I later checked the gas status, I was wowed to see that the gas was totally black.

I live in Ajah Lagos, and I seek for a sincere and best advice.

This is a Corolla 2012, South Africa.

Okay. Find ac uv dye and run it through your system. 9 out of 10 times you'll find the source of the leak.

In addition,pls make sure you buy the original uv dye so that you don't contaminate the system.
