Chief, pls I noticed the AC for my Toyota camry muscle only cools very well in the mornings. As soon as the weather is very hot or I parked in the sun, it doesn't cool or even if it tries to cool, I have to put it on full blast and it will still not cool as much like in the morning.

Check your radiator fans first.

I have been following your thread keenly and i love technicians who works with modern tools peculiar to their job scope, Well i have a Saturn vue 2009 SUV and during the course of scanning my car, I got the P0532 code which points to the refrigerant pressure sensor, The issue here is that the car AC is not really effective during the day (Like extremely hot weather) but its ice cold in the evening, So i just took delivery of the Pressure sensor from ebay

Note: I've taken the car to AC technicians and all of 'em are talking about leakage and one I.diot even suggested to change compressor lol

That is why i had to check on Youtube for a possible solution and lot of videos on the P0532 suggested a pressure sensor replacement and how to change it

Now, the issue now i don't want to lose refrigerant while trying to change this sensor neither do i have vacuum pump to pump down the gas before changing, i want to know if this model of cars (GM brand) have Schrader valve before the sensor (probably you have worked on such cars before)

Boss I will advice you check the electricals side of the sensor most likely they have done some bypass.
The sensor isn't the cause of the cooling,your refrigerant is low.

ADVICE FOR THE DAY.
please always make sure you check your fan rotation after replacement.
1,it can cause your car to overheat.
2,it can affect your air conditioning from cooling effectively.
3,it can also cause damage to your air conditioning compressor.

Please does anyone know where I can get vacuum pump in Benin city?? My AC is giving little issues, it's not cooling as before.

Your car AC is having issues,you need to check what ever the problem is before thinking of vacuum pump.

2, faulty torque sensor.the sensor is located at the bottom of your compressor.

Hello bro, I just got this car and whenever I switch-on the AC, it cools very well. However, after a certain amount of time, it will stop cooling and the AC light will be blinking. What I do is to turn it off and on again for it to start cooling again, this time it will only work only for a few minutes before it will start blinking again. How can you help me with it?

What kind of car do you drive

why are you taking this risk.
It isn't advisable to use cooking gas to flush it's highly hazardous.
GOD saved you from using your own hands to damaging your car.
If there was any small spark of light my brother story is the case.
Pls go and overhaul the entire system stop wasting your money.

did you just refill the gas
if know.
1,check your radiator fan.
2,torque sensor on the compressor might be faulty or electrical issue.
pls look for a good technician aroad to check the electricals first.

Have you found the solution?

Check your recyclelation switch if is off.
But if the switch is on and you still perceive smells,that means the foam on the recycle plastic is bad or the servo motor controlling the door isn't working.

Sometimes the AC just starts blowing warm air with visible smoke coming out of the vents.

Then I have to turn it off for some minutes and turn it back on before it continues blowing cold air.

One AC guy here said I should change the compressor to manual.

Please what could be the issue?

I hope you have cabin filter in your car,pls check.
If there's non your evaporator is clog up with dust.
If yes take it to your technician to use manifold gauge to check the pressure reading when you put on the AC.

My Car AC (Toyota Camry 2008 V6) just stopped blowing cold air after my car had over heating while I was driving. However I've fixed the over heating and ever since then, my car AC no blow cold again. I've been to two kazeem shop now, they said I should change to manual or buy 10 automatic compressor "maybe 1 would work" but I do not want to subscribe to that idea.

The second kazeem leaked the whole gas in the system and then refilled another gas. Still it didn't work. That's all, aside this, my car AC has never been worked

I'm based in Lagos. When and where can I come to you for diagnosis.

Also make sure they don't overfill oil.

Mostly likely they will need to loose out the compressor because it might be difficult to replace the bearing without bringing out the compressor.
They don't need to add oil in the system when refilling gas.

@mosbus Good Evening & happy weekend, I drive 2013 Toyota Corolla LE that comes with an auto VDC compressor. Plz, my AC compressor makes grinding noise with its pulley bearing confirmed bad. Can the bearing be replaced without affecting its functionality? It still cools effectively. One kazeem here dey tell me say make I change ham to Manual Compressor. I base in Niger State. The bearing can be changed.

Hi bro, I noticed that most times after using AC, I hear a slight tapping sound, initially I thought it was the engine ,but when I checked under the hood,I couldn't hear anything. The noise is getting louder and it only happens after use of AC, it seems to be the coming from under the dashboard.

Check your recirculation blend door or the foam on top the blend door might be bad.
