Jesus only can turn a sinner into a Saint.

BE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED. COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM


By God's standard, unequal yoke is a taboo.

“ Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together. Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.”(Deuteronomy 22:9-11).

OK. Let's agree to the beauty in diversity; but there must be a marked difference for the continuation of that beauty: else there'll be no more diversity to admire.

There's a demarcation between light and darkness; and even the White Light is made up of seven clearly differentiated colours, visible when the white light is passed through a rectangular glass block prism.

Trouble starts when you attempt to force all seven into one, disturb the natural order.


So it is everywhere. We can live on the same earth, and work for a common goal: that God may be glorified, but things must be put in perspective; “ Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”(Amos 3:3).

Metals of different types can't be joined together without a problem: different thermal properties and heat capacity, galvanic corrosion.

Now, let's bring this home. The word of God says: “ Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”(2 Corinthians 6:14).

The apostle is not saying that you cannot or shouldn't live in the same world with them, but that you should be yoked—you should partner deeply, as in marriage, intimate friendship with unbelievers, for it will be equivalent to ploughing “...with an ox and an ass together”(Deuteronomy 22:10).
Mayhem
Imagine keeping a cat and a dog in the same cage—they can live in the same town, but certainly not in the same cage.

If you pull a plough with a yoke of an elephant–a horse–a donkey–a cow–a bull–an ox and an ass, all hemmed about by the same link of yokes, to simultaneously employ them in your labour, you'll end up unleashing mayhem in the fields, for each beast will head it's own way and with it's own force. And your purpose will be defeated.

It is said that birds of a kind flock together— don't force it otherwise: let the birds of a kind flock together. Please. For Jesus' sake.

“ And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”(2 Corinthians 6:15-18). Amen.

Tell Jesus to wait no more: tell Him to come into your heart now. “ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”(Revelation 3:20). Amen.
