There's food in heaven. The Bible told us that what the children of Israel had eaten, forty years in the wilderness, was angels' food. “ And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven. Man did eat angels’ food: he sent them meat to the full.”(Psalms 78:24,25). The Bible says that when Jesus shall appear, we shall be like Him(1 John 3:2). When He resurrected, He was not a floating Spirit, rather He had a new body(that's the body we'll have in His kingdom, by His grace), and He ate with His disciples. “ And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them.”(Luke 24:38-43). The Lord Jesus Christ said to the Apostles: “ Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”(Luke 22:28-30). There'll be fasting only here on earth and not in heaven; because the Bridegroom will be present, and it will be all good judgment, celebration and worship(Luke 5:34-49). “ And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.”(Luke 14:15). Paul the Apostle, in the Spirit explained this flesh as a garment that we shall put off; not that we should be naked(bodiless spirits), but that we should be clothed with the celestial body. “ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.”(2 Corinthians 5:1-4). Not this body that would experience marriage or death; but we'll be like the angels of God in heaven(Matthew 22:30); and yes, Angels eat(Psalms 78:24-25). Finally, during the Lord's Supper, just before the Cross, “ ...as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom(Matthew 26:26-29). Amen💟 Heaven is more interesting than we think it is. There are lots of activity going on there; and in fact, this world tries to copy God's heaven. There there are mansions, machines, cars, chariots, music and lot more. There's no comparison between it and earth, rather, there's a sharp contrast. |
👑💧 GENESIS 45–47 — REIMAGINED FOR THE NOW Title: “God Sent Me Ahead” (What was meant for evil becomes a highway for healing) --- 💥 CHAPTER 45: THE REVEAL 💧SCENE 1: THE TEARS BREAK THROUGH (45:1–3) Joseph can’t hold it in anymore. He sends everyone out — the guards, the servants, the translators — and then weeps loudly. He says just one thing: > “I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?” His brothers are stunned. Paralyzed. Terrified. This is the man they betrayed. And now he’s the most powerful man they know. But Joseph doesn't lash out. He comforts them: > “Don’t be distressed. Don’t be angry with yourselves. You sold me… but GOD sent me ahead of you to preserve life.” 🔥 That’s redemption speaking. But when he sees the carts, the gifts, the evidence, he says: > “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.” --- 🚚 CHAPTER 46: THE MOVE TO EGYPT Jacob begins the journey — but stops at Beersheba to offer sacrifices. And God speaks: > “Don’t be afraid to go down to Egypt. 📖 GENESIS 42–44 — REIMAGINED FOR TODAY Title: “The Unrecognized Savior” (The dreamer reigns, his brothers bow, and grace begins to awaken hearts) --- 🌍 SETTING: The famine hits hard — across Egypt and Canaan. 🌾👑 GENESIS 41 — REIMAGINED FOR THE NOW Title: “When Destiny Calls You Out of the Dungeon” (How God uses dreams, seasons, and unlikely doors to fulfill His plan) --- 📖 CONTEXT: Joseph has been: Dreaming since he was young, Sold by his brothers, Falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife, And forgotten by the cupbearer after interpreting his dream. He’s sitting in a dungeon — not because he’s guilty, but because he's marked by God. And now, after two full years… God says: “Now.” Because when it’s your time — no Pharaoh, no prison, no forgotten favor can stop it. --- 🌙 SCENE 1: THE RULER HAS A NIGHTMARE (vv. 1– ![]() Pharaoh, king of Egypt, the most powerful man alive — has two dreams: 1. 📖 The Bible: A Fire-Wrapped Scroll from Eternity to Eternity (From Genesis to Revelation — One Seamless Story of God) --- 🕊️ IN THE BEGINNING: THE GOD WHO SPEAKS Before there was time, there was God. 📣 WAKE UP! THE BRIDEGROOM COMETH! “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” — Matthew 25:6 This is not just another post. It is a midnight cry. The hour is darker than ever. The world is distracted. The Church is drowsy. But there’s a sound in the Spirit: WAKE UP. THE BRIDEGROOM IS COMING. 🔔 The call now is urgent: Wake up from sin and slumber. Trim your lamp — remove the spiritual clutter. Get oil in your vessel — be filled with the Holy Ghost. Go out to meet Him — Jesus is coming for a ready Bride. ⏰ Time is almost up. The Master will soon return. Will He find you burning or lukewarm? Will He find you watching or wandering? Will you have oil, or just the form of religion? 👑 Jesus is not coming for a crowd — He's coming for a Bride. A Bride in white. A Bride in waiting. A Bride in worship. 🔥 TO THE CHURCH: Come back to your first love. The world is not your home. Return to holiness. Preach repentance. Weep again. Watch again. Pray again. 💔 TO THE LOST: Hell is real. Eternity is near. Mercy is still open. But not for long. Cry out: “Lord Jesus, save me! I repent. I believe You died and rose for me. Wash me in Your blood. Be my Lord and Saviour. 🔥 GENESIS 37–40 Title: “The Dream, The Pit, The Prison, and the Providence of God” --- 📖 GENESIS 37 — The Dreamer Betrayed 🧒🏽 Joseph: Seventeen. Innocent. Favored. Destined. > “Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children…” (v.3) Jacob gives Joseph a coat of many colors — a public sign of special favor. But with favor came friction. > “And when his brethren saw… they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.” (v.4) He dreams twice — of ruling, of rising — and shares it. His brothers are enraged. Even Jacob rebukes him. 🧠 Lesson: Not every dream should be shared with everyone. Favor breeds envy — especially when you’re not careful with your words. --- 🔥 Betrayal in the Field Jacob sends Joseph to check on his brothers. They see him coming — and plot to kill him. > “Behold, this dreamer cometh.” (v.19) Reuben intervenes — instead of killing, they throw him in a pit. Then comes the trade-off. Judah suggests: “Let’s sell him.” They sell their brother for 20 pieces of silver to Ishmaelites heading to Egypt. 💔 Joseph screams from the pit. He is bound, helpless — his coat stripped. But not his call. 🎯 Man can strip your robe, but they can’t strip your destiny. They take the coat, dip it in goat’s blood, and lie to Jacob. The father is shattered. The brothers? Silently guilty. But heaven is not silent. The dream is just beginning. --- 📖 GENESIS 38 — Judah and Tamar: The Hidden Scandal It may seem out of place, but this chapter is surgical. God pauses Joseph’s story to expose Judah’s broken legacy. Judah, who led Joseph’s betrayal, goes down morally. His sons are wicked — two die. He withholds marriage from Tamar, his daughter-in-law. She disguises herself as a prostitute and conceives by Judah. > “She is more righteous than I.” (v.26) Out of this mess comes Pharez, from whom David and eventually Jesus will descend. 💥 Even in scandal and shame, God’s grace finds a womb to fulfill prophecy. 🧠 Never skip chapter 38. It shows us: The failure of the flesh. The scandal of sin. The shocking grace of God in lineage. --- 📖 GENESIS 39 — Joseph in Potiphar’s House: From Temptation to Prison Joseph is sold to Potiphar, a captain of Pharaoh’s guard. > “And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man…” (v.2) Even in slavery, Joseph excels. He serves with integrity. Potiphar trusts him fully. But then — enter the test. 😈 Potiphar’s Wife > “Lie with me.” — she says again and again. But Joseph refuses. > “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (v.9) 💎 He doesn’t just see it as a sin against Potiphar — but against God. That’s character. That’s reverence. One day she grabs his garment. He flees — leaving the garment behind. She uses it as false evidence. > Potiphar’s wife lied. Joseph is thrown into prison — for righteousness. 💥 The coat is gone again. But the presence of God remains. > “But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy…” (v.21) In prison, Joseph is faithful again. He becomes leader of prisoners. 🧠 Faithfulness is not location-based. It's heart-based. Even in prison, Joseph was trustworthy. --- 📖 GENESIS 40 — The Dreams of the Cupbearer and the Baker Two new inmates join Joseph — Pharaoh’s chief butler (cupbearer) and baker. They both have troubling dreams. Joseph sees their distress and says: > “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me them, I pray you.” (v. ![]() 🎯 Joseph is still spiritually sharp, even while forgotten and falsely imprisoned. The butler will be restored in 3 days. The baker will be executed in 3 days. All unfolds exactly as Joseph said. > “Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.” (v.23) 💔 The sting of being forgotten — again. But heaven doesn’t forget. The silence is painful — but strategic. The stage is being set. --- ✝️ JESUS REVEALED (Genesis 37–40) Joseph, the beloved son, betrayed by his brothers and sold for silver — a clear type of Jesus Christ. Like Joseph, Jesus was: Stripped. Rejected. Falsely accused. Faithful in suffering. Exalted in due time. 📖 GENESIS 33 — Esau Embraces Jacob: Grace Undeserved 🧍🏽♂️🧍🏽 Jacob meets the brother he once deceived. The air is thick with tension. Will Esau retaliate? Is there war in his heart? Jacob is limping — physically, yes — but also emotionally. This is not the same man who fled in pride 20 years ago. He’s bowed by fear, by memory, and by the hand of God. > “And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times…” (v.3) But what comes next is holy. > “And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him… and they wept.” (v.4) 🕊️ Grace. That’s what this is. Grace from the unexpected. Esau, who once vowed to kill Jacob, now kisses him. Forgiveness flowed, not from years of explanation, but from a heart softened by God’s silent work. 💡 Sometimes, the person you feared most is no longer who they used to be — because God knows how to work on hearts in parallel. --- 🔍 Jacob insists Esau take his gifts. > “Take, I pray thee, my blessing… because God hath dealt graciously with me.” (v.11) This isn’t about flattery. Jacob knows he doesn’t deserve this moment — it’s a miracle. The gifts he gives are a form of repentance. > ✝️ Repentance isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it looks like restitution, humility, and changed posture. --- But even though Esau offers to travel with him, Jacob politely declines. Why? Jacob is still cautious. Not every reconciliation means renewed closeness. Forgiveness doesn’t always mean proximity. > 🧠 Forgive fully. But be wise with access. Jacob travels to Succoth, then to Shechem — which sets the stage for the next chapter. --- 📖 GENESIS 34 — Dinah, Deception, and Devastation Here lies one of Scripture’s darkest chapters. No divine names appear. No one prays. No one consults God. It’s all human reaction — and human ruin. 😢 Dinah’s Violation > “And Shechem… took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.” (v.2) The daughter of Leah, Dinah, goes out to “see the daughters of the land” — but is seen by Shechem, son of Hamor, and raped. Yet — paradoxically — he wants to marry her afterward. Jacob hears of it — but says nothing, waiting for his sons. Levi and Simeon, Dinah’s full brothers, are burning with rage. But their response is not justice. It’s revenge. --- ⚔️ The Bloody Trick They deceive Hamor and Shechem, demanding that every male in the city be circumcised before intermarriage. The men agree. On the third day — while they’re in pain — Levi and Simeon strike. > “They slew all the males.” (v.25) This isn’t just punishment. It’s a massacre. Jacob is horrified. > “Ye have troubled me to make me stink among the inhabitants…” (v.30) 💔 What’s the lesson? Rage + Religion = Atrocity. When you use God’s covenant (circumcision) as a weapon, you profane it. But God invites him to Bethel — the place where it all began (Genesis 28). The place where he once dreamed of ladders and angels. And Jacob? He responds. > “Put away the strange gods… be clean… change your garments.” (v.2) 🔥 This is revival. Repentance. Re-dedication. The house is cleansed. The idols are buried. The journey restarts. > “And the terror of God was upon the cities…” (v.5) They didn’t even need weapons. God's glory was their shield. At Bethel: He builds an altar. God appears again. Renames him Israel a second time — because trauma can make you forget who you are. Then God blesses him again — restates the Abrahamic covenant: > “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply…” (v.11) But even in revival, life doesn’t pause pain. --- 💔 Rachel’s Death in Childbirth > “And it came to pass… Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.” (v.16) She dies giving birth to Benjamin, calling him “Ben-oni” (son of my sorrow) — but Jacob renames him Benjamin (son of the right hand). Rachel’s grave remains in Bethlehem. 🕊️ Sometimes, our greatest joys cost us our deepest losses. --- 📜 Reuben’s Shame > “Reuben went and lay with Bilhah…” (v.22) Firstborn Reuben dishonors his father, sleeps with his concubine, and disqualifies himself from future leadership. 📌 Leadership isn’t about birth order. It shows that God is faithful to bless even Esau, the son He did not choose as covenant carrier. Esau becomes Edom. He multiplies, grows kings, settles in Mount Seir. Or so they think. --- ✨ The Hidden Work of the Cross While the disciples mourned in fear, Jesus was not resting in that grave. His body lay still—but His Spirit was on mission. > “He went and preached unto the spirits in prison…” (1 Peter 3:19) He descended into the lower parts of the earth (Ephesians 4:9). Why? To announce the victory. To strip hell of its power. To unlock the gates for the saints of old. He wasn’t defeated. He was declaring war in the underworld.
