EducationRe: Opinion:which Uni.has The Best Brainy Students In Nig? by moshark06(m): 10:07pm On Dec 27, 2016
Enough said of you! I have the right to share my opinion and everyone is entitled to is own opinion so why must you abuse me for Christ sake!
ooh! I see you are a student of the school mentioned.well it's a normal thing to attack me but to make my self clear to you am not disregarding the fact that there arebrainy students in federal university.of course there is am also in a federal school FUTA to be precise (technology for self reliance!). come to Futa you go no watin dey happen
laughs !
therefore. what am saying is. what is the basis for your conclusion? have you attended all the school in this country? do make make research on this?
moreover am not pointing finger to op alone am referring to everyone on the thread
what am saying in essence is that due to rigorous admission process in federal uni( he no easy to enter federal) we student in federal university believe other university students are inferior which is outrightly wrong! because 80% of student that choose federal skul does so due to their financial status ( federal skul is really cheap).to be realistic if there money most of us we be skuling in private uni or even abroad .
peace out
I rest my case
teee2:
Mr moshark06.. U could have given ur opinion without having to spit nonsense about other institutions... The op asked about where brainy students are found most, common sense should have given u the answer. And he didn't say anything about rating students based on the school he/she attends. Abi?
Seriously, why the hate? 19 century syllabus, dilapidated buildings bla bla bla .. Yet, Check ur VCs, check ur lecturers, check those that are in charge of the administration of ur school (if u're in any) and see if they haven't passed through these schools whether at their undergraduate or postgraduate level.. Old glory indeed.
Besides, where did u read or hear that students from these schools don't write Ican, Acca and other professional examinations? Huh?
Nuff said.. I don't engage in this type of argument, 'cos I believe the education system of Nigeria as a whole is in a deep mess. But I don't tolerate bullshits when I see one. #drops_mic

intelligent students are everywhere. am always wondering all this so called Oau ui and the rest still believe they are best.the best with dilapidated buildings, using of 19century syllabus when my Frnd in Bowen studying accounting already has is I can , ACCA and other accounting certifications u go come sitdown dey talk say private school is easy why won't it be easy? seens their lecturer is not as sadists as yours in public skul.
guys all this Oau ui and co na pass glory then they use.go to lasu they produce the best doctor in west Africa.
pls stop rating students base on the school he/she attend its a matter of individuality!.
Am not saying these institutions don't have brainy students , of course they do!

EducationRe: Nigerians And Their 5.0CGPA Syndrome; That's Why We Can Never Greater Minds by moshark06(m): 8:42pm On Nov 12, 2016
pls I need someone to enumerate what success is all about .
is it when you have millions of cash in your account?
is it education?
informal education?
or dropping out of school and venture into business?
going after your passion
what is the yardstick to measuring success?
I notice that we Nigerians tends to tag only the rich as a success and are less concerned about the academically successful ones and the intellectual ones.
part of my discoveries about human is, majority of us tends to find ways to console and make excuse for her failures.

Rauf set Masters level questions for Secondary school students to prevent as many passing in order to avoid paying for their WAEC fees.
The dude that said the questions given to them was of masters level standard, but when will people like you stop politicising issues you are not suppose to?. come to think of it 7000 students passed the same master's question of yours which implies that the ones that failed had know excuse for her failure, and you are expecting the government to keep paying and thereby wasting the country resources on unproductive projects. its high time we start setting standards in this country, that is another way we can move forward as a nation.

ElSherriff:
He spoke the truth in a disrespectful way. No where in the world is name calling permitted. That is slanderous and very disrespectful. Your vice chancellor made a first class and that is academic excellence, it may not be leadership but its excellence all the same and more importantly you being a student has not achieved it yet so MUST show respect. More over its an insult to the entire degree awarding institution almost to the proportion of claiming they were daft for awarding a first class. The others names called are not necessary so I totally support the University. Part of what we all must learn is humility, how to talk in public, how to manage our temperament and how to be civil.
