This is undoubtably the season of letter writings. all in a bid to heat up the polity. who knows who is putting finishing touches to another letter right now. i am sure IBB is coming up with something,yakubu gowon and abdulsalam abubaker,earnest shonekon et al. at least to tell us some of the secrets they have kept from us all these years.I have always said it that God will expose all those that destroyed nigeria. a nation bestowed with enormous human and material resouces.who will be writing to whom tomorrow?. bring it on folks, this is the season of letters.
But the greatest is yet to come and that will be the letter of the common man to the ruling elites, those who has converted Nigeria into their private property.Nigeria has indeed swallowed a long pistle, now she have to sleep standing upright.When nations are busy making giant technological strides, Nigerian elites are busy writing letters.when nations are busy transforming the lives of their citizens, our leaders are embroiled in petty squabbles and cheap blackmailing. anyways, the only thing i blame is the civil war, if not these mediocers wont have the chance and effontry to lord it over the rest of us today. we are scattered all over the world, doing menial jobs while our collective wealth is being squandered by our political class.Indeed , we have not read the last of the letters.

My people be aware that hiv as an infection is like everyother sickness and the difference is that there is no cure yet but in due course, the cure will be here after all it took almost 50yrs for TB to have a cure.it took 17yrs for a functional cure to be found for leprosy.even gonarhea,with the constant influx of hiv drugs into the market, the malady is no longer a death sentence, millions of couples are living their daily lives with the virus, the only thing is knowlegde, if you know u have the virus, you will be in a better position to protect the people dear to you.

In as much asyou are sexually active and without the hope for a cure in the horizen, everyone is at risk of getting the virus.Ok if we escape it, will our children do,if our children do, will our relatives escape it, we are indeed living at a very dangerous time.
We should pray and hope that the western science will do something to stop this scourge,with the billions that are being sunk into research daily,i am optimistic that a cure is imminent.there are functional and effective drugs that has reduced the malady to a chronic infection.to say the truth, i will rather be hiv positive than to have cancer after all no body is promised tomorrow.One hing must kill a man they say.MAY THE LORD PROTECT US ALL.

please folks stop instilling fear into the minds of readers of this forum, hiv is just a viral infection and tremendous progress has been made in the manegement of the infection, the only thing you will beg God is to spare you from the scourge,every body should be concerned, its either you re infected or you are affected.There are millions who have the virus today but are oblivious of the fact,any one of you in this forum may be developing the virus unknown to him or her, so turn the table around and put yourself in the shoes of someone who has the virus.please let us work hard to stop the stigma attached to this virus because if we do, things will turn out better.remember there are medications to control it and if you re on medication, you cannot pass the virus to your spouse or lover, the key is knowledge.in as much as we continue to hide our head in the sand like the ostrich, we will continue to habour this virus and give it the impetus to rule our lives.

My brother, i am very very optimistic,there are many vaccines in the pipeline, some of them will be available before the end of next year.a lot of progress is being made in the area of therapeutic and preventive vaccines.just be optimistic, mankind will sonn be rid of this deadly malady.

the bottmline is that hiv is real and that the western science is doing everything in their power to find a cure to save mankind, there are numerous vaccine trials going on as i write this,and there is no hidden agenda. the only thing you will do as an individual is to ascertain your status and to try to take care of your self, i was one of those who was thinking that hiv was a hoax until i became sick and found out that i ve the virus myself, my saving grace is that i live in a country where there is drugs and its free of charge, i am tempted to go deep into the hiv issue to find out things for myself i am positive and very healthy, i know people who has been positive for many years and they are strong . another consolation is that once you are on a an effective haart, and undetectable for at least six months, you cant pass the virus to your patner.
