OP kindly provide the DailyTrust link to the said interview for credibility assurances. Meanwhile, all i'd say is; it's just 5 days to go. Lets see if these new theatre of words will be matched with actions. Untill then, every man for himself! |
Amazing feat! Just another reason to be proudly Nigerian! |

Missy89: He contested, He lost and he has to go. There is nothing heroic about obeying the law. You might as well call me a hero for not over-speeding then.Advise him to stay there for one more and you will know that you country is not so sovereignIf by now you really don't know what is heroic in an incumbent president conducting a reasonably free and fair election in Africa which he lost and conceded defeat especially in a country where it is on record that Gen. Buhari, the new president elect who was not even a political office holder then, couldn't bear a clear poll defeat and as a result threatened and did in fact bring about violence in some part of the country as a consequence of his utterances after loosing election in 2011 with a far wider margin than Jonathan lost, then there must be a problem somewhere with your ability to analyse events, a problem that only you can help yourself out of. |
Phew...nairalanders and their partisan views to things! Looking at that piece of news properly you will see that this caption is simply targeted at misleading people into unwanted reactions. Out of other postive stuffs that were mentioned in the statement why single this out? Besides, the use of the word "may" and not "is" doesn't in any, in my view, qualify the screaming header as put by the OP. |
Congratulations mehn...hardwork pays, i can only imagine how much of it you must have put in to achieve this feat. Best of wishes. |
Well, This still, does not take away the importance of the noble law profession anyway. Every profession has it's pros and cons. So long as the state exists, the law and those who are trained to practice it will forever remain an indispensable part of it. |
No it's not advisable. If you do that and get admitted afterwards, you may be disqualified during your 100 level clearance/registration exercise. In my school (The University of Benin (UniBen)), those who did, were relocated from the department in which they were initially admitted into during clearance. The reason cited was that: one or more of their JAMB subject combination requisite for their various admitted courses of study was/were not sat for and passed in their O level examination. He who has ears let him hear. Hope this helps? |
Mcslize:It's a pleasure, sir! |
Mcslize:Well, prayer coupled with patience is the key. And by the way, the guy am talking about is in the faculty of law with fewer admitted students as usual, and you know, the haste in which your clearance officer forwards your form for correction is also an important factor in determining how quick the correction will be treated. So while some clearance officers just allow correction forms to pile up and GROW TALL on their desk before sending them, others forwards theirs immediately they are done with the day's exercise. Hope this explains it? |
Peetar3117:2 to 3 weeks, that's what i heard the registrar i think, say at the clearance venue on tuesday. |
Frankie09y4:Yes he will. And as for the length of time it will take to finally get cleared afterwards, i would say it is almost immediately after the correction is effected on your kofa profile. As a matter of fact, i met a guy from the faculty of law who filled correction form last friday to correct his date of birth on his uniben slip, the correction was effected the following monday and he finally got cleared on tuesday. i think the process is a whole lot faster this year. All the best. |
dozieinspired:They've opened for business now |
Quatermaine:Boss, i beg to disagree with the bolded. This is b'cos I know for a fact that logging out does not solve date of birth error issues on uniben database. An affected student would still have to fill correction form to correct the error just like in the case of WAEC CERT errors b'cos such error starts from the post utme registration period and not during online clearance, except that, unlike that of WAEC; it doesn't take long for the candidate to get a correction reply and subsequently, get his issues resolved. Peace and Cheers! |
What a cruel way to end a passing year and in consequence, beginning the new year in police net. Anyway, I think the content of the story does not substantiate the caption given to it, thus making it misleading b'cos the guy in question didn't make reference to any refusal of his marriage proposal to the lady in the story. Having said that, i think his action was a consequence of the negative height of obsession & possesiveness which in my opinion is not good for any relationship. |
icecalm:Sorry, for curiosity sake, what if he or anyone else is combining results like you said? |
In this case, i would say Justice delayed isn't justice denied. 27 freaking years is a whole lot mehn. It calls to mind the deceased Nelson Mandela (God rest his soul). I wish him the grace to forgive those who wrongly accused and convicted him of the crime he never commited. |
Sadly true |
chue:alright...go ahead, am all eyes. |
chue:kk...i believe you. |
Even though it is obvious that most albinos are discriminated against and are made targets of ritualists in some african countries, I think it is a fallacy of hasty generalization to say everybody rejects albinos. I know of some albinos that are very much accepted into families, social organizations and governments. As a matter of fact, the current Nigerian ambassador to south africa i think, is an albino if am not mistaken If you are an albino person reading this, just work hard to distinguish yourself amongst your peers, love and accept yourself the way you are, and people will have no option than to love and accept you the way you are. Also, if you are one who discriminates against albinos, stop the discrimination and show some love to your fellow human. BR Moslaw |
HonourablePomk:sorry mehn, am not on whatsapp; the platform doesn't freak me much. |
chue:lol, oga...when your schoolmates must have been rounding off their 1st semester, shey? |
HonourablePomk:Thanks! Poor calc on my part. *coversface |
chue:lol...in this context, i would say ten days being 'too short' is relative. That is, only some of those who haven't gotten their docs ready and are scheduled to clear in the 1st and maybe 2nd week of clearance will likely say its 'too short'. But I'm quite sure that those who are ready and have their clearance date fixed for the end of january and february will say that it's not 'too short' but 'too long' a time to wait. The question is, how ready are you for your clearance date? PS: post modified |
Godwin10:Yeah, I hope it does. #Respect sir! Thanks |
Goodmorning everyone. It's ten days to your journey towards becoming a bonafide student of this great institution, hope your documents are ready. All the best! #modified |
Godwin10:mehn bros, no disrepect but none of what you said happened in my class this past session. All students sat and wrote tests/exams in the same hall irrespective of whether they were cleared on time or not. The only difference will be, while those that are cleared before matric will write their tests/exams with their Matric numbers on their answer booklets and have a greater chance of their scores traced and recorded at ease, those not cleared in record time will write theirs with their Jamb Registration numbers. Also, should your faculty go round during exams looking for those who are owing school fees (which some hardly do to 100level anyway) those not cleared might likely be disturbed, and have their exams delayed because without being cleared you can't pay school fees. Abeg, e be like say i don write too much. Lemme stop here jare. But no cause for alarm sha all delayed clearance cases will be duely handled with kind considerations except in extreme cases. BR Moslaw |
Navvy:It's a pleasure, boss. |
Navvy:you can leave that out, since there is no space for it but jamb admission letter. Anyway, pls be sure to make copies of it and bring them along with you to the physical clearance desk. Cheers! |
Navvy:chai,! sorry mehn for the late reply...i've been offline. Well, if by anyway this reply is still going to be useful at this point, i would say you upload the statement of result in the space for result statement, then upload ur online result printout in the first sitting result space. So sorry once again for the delay. |
itz too short let em xtend it
