Navvy:alright, Spill it, boss! |
Congrats to them But my loudest ovation goes to the University of Benin team for winning first position in the presentation. Proudly UniBen, ever representing and blazing the trail. |
Nice one, congratulations and more grease to your elbow! Thank God that you've tasted the bitter side of strikes in our educational system as a student. Now that you are a medical doctor, pls remember that alot of people also suffer casualties from the heartless and incessant strikes ur colleagues embark upon in our health system and do well to abide by the hippocratic oath you swore at your inductions, and place it above all selfish interest. |
Wow!...mere looking at the number of persons viewing this thread alone, it is pretty obvious that this government and other successive governments still have a lot of work to do regarding checking the rate of unemploymment and underemployment in Nigeria. |
Navvy:Yeah, that's it. All the best with your physical clearance! |
gritzky:Well, they will have to wait for their correction letters from the University Admission Board(this might take a while, though depending on how early their correction forms were submitted), and then proceed for final clearance, after clearance they can now pay their fees online. It's so unfortunate! Trust me, it's not a pleasant experience but, it's surely a passing phase. All the best! |
pweetyz:No, that's not the process...it has to be payment of acceptance fee first, then school fee later(after a successful physical clearance) thanks for the info thoughMy pleasure! |
Navvy:Sorry boss. You can't pay ur school fees now until u've been successfully cleared during physical clearance. This is because the school fee payment feature can only be accessed when your kofa profile shows "cleared''. |
Rest In Peace our fallen hero. But my question is, why is it that it is majorly the death of senior ranking military officers in the fight against BH that the media reports and pay tribute to? What about the low ranking ones that die every day and we never get the chance to know and pay tribute to? I look forward to the day we begin to celebrate our recruits, privates and sergeants etc, too. Meanwhile, May God grant the family to bear the loss and give our leaders the wisdom and might to stem the tide of the Boko Haram menace. Amen. |
I still look forward to that year when we will be effective enough to have over 90 percent budget implemention on capital. Just have a mental picture of the extent of development that would have been recorded if all monies voted for capital projects in our budgets in the federal and across the states of the country in the past were judiciously released and utilised. Undoubtedly, it is the implementation of capital expenditure that drives development the more, and also have the greater impact on the economy not just recurrent expenditure that is meant for a sizeable number of a country's population. |
Lol...you know, one negative thing about being quick to talk or act upon an issue without critical thought is; you tend to be blinded by your view or one-sided perspective and then, tilt towards not considering the other side of it. What if the PDP had stopped for a minute to think, that the delay in choosing a VP candidate by the APC was for them to meticulously plan, strategise and select a quality VP that will ensure success at the polls and government(i.e if elected) knowing fully well that adequate planning begat success not just in the polls and government, but in every facet of life. For the record, am not an APC fan, neither a PDP fan. I'm just a watchful eligible voter with keen eyes observing how the issues are raised and trashed out in order to guide me on casting my ballot come 2015. |
I wonder how the plaintiff and his lawyers having jumped the hierarchy of courts in seeking justice, still expect that their suit will not be dismissed by the supreme court. Some lawyers sef badt o, they will just raise your hopes about winning a case, allow you to foolishly go about it the wrong way so as to prolong the case and in consequence, make good fortune out of their clients. Anyway, good riddance! I guess GEJ can now prepare for the uphill task ahead of him in 2015. In other news, Barely 48hours the courts have delivered 2 important judgments - first affirming that Tambuwal still remains the speaker of the house of reps despite defection to APC, and now dismissing the eligibility suit against the president. I wish the courts will be this swift in dispensing justice when it has to do with the poor man on the streets. |
It's long overdue. I have always wondered why the multi-billion contract for our nation's pipeline security will be left in the hands of (ex)Thugs. This is like rewarding a man for being a bad boy in his past. I support the revocation of the contract, but instead of it to be given to community youths or ordinary civillians who might just be after the interest of their various pockets, they should be awarded to professional security outfits that will be guided by professional work ethics. Or better still be left in the hands of our country's various security agents on a rotational basis. |
I think i know quite a good number of women that had child(ren) and still had a successful career...Well, May be this is where i'll start nodding in agreement when next i hear 'diff stroke for diff folks' But I wish i could make her start afresh, this time with a child and see if she wouldn't have a self aclaimed succesful career as a biological mother. I am most pretty certain that a good number of ladies out there will take this to mean ladies, "Do not chose to have children if you want to have a successful career" and also follow suit. Yeah! that's how crazy people can get especially while religiously treading the path of their perceived role models. But you can't take it away from her though; she has made her mark in broadcasting...I guess she is the reason why most ladies are inspired with the new craze of having their own Oprah Winfrey kinda talk shows. Well, that one na her own sha, me i don talk my own *drops mic* |
Honourable Latnok, i see u've decided to bless the thread with ur presence tonight...Greetings boss! |
Hehehehe...mehn that was a freaking rib-cracking creative piece of writing! If it were you who really came up with this, then comedy might just be your thingy mehn...abi how u too see am? |
slimedge:Well, you don't have to worry about that. At this level, you don't have the privilege of selecting courses to offer, that is the responsibility of your level course adviser. You can only select courses in a given list of optional courses to offer as you go higher in your degree programme for e.g when you get to 300l. Cheers! |
You seem to have left out the latest radio station on the airwaves. UniBen fm - 100.1 Courtesy: University of Benin, Benin city. |
OEmperor:Well, i think the answer has been given before. But for the sake of emphasis let me say that; Via transfer, it will not be possible to change to Medicine. If she still craves Medicine and Surgery then she has to sit for JAMB again...So sorry. |
lilnicki:Yes, you can! But you've got to play ur part very well and then, let God have His way in it. |
university210:lol...the said question is not far from you bro, kindly read again and tell me where 100l was mentioned. Phew...what an incorrigible fellow! |
university210:Boss, inter faculty transfer to PHARMACY is possible although not until after 200level of one's current related course of study. As a matter of fact, i have a friend who transfered from Agricultural Economics to pharmacy this session. Pls always be sure to get your facts right so you don't get people misformed. Cheers! |
Nice!...may his emergence as the new VC bring unprecedented advancement to all facet of this great school. Greatest UniBen! |
Is it just me, or this is really a misleading thread topic? B'cos I still can't find where her son's admission is mentioned or implied in the posts. Anyway, since i'm here, congratulations to the lad on his music achievement! |
If this be the case, then it spells double trouble for our dear continent. However, it (marburg) can be contained and surmounted if governments of african states see it as a huge threat to the continent and collectively move in quickly to fight it rather than allow it gain grounds like in the case of the ebola virus disease (EVD). |
Mexyz:That's right!...not just uniben sef, even JAMB has a well spelt out admission policy which every school must stick to if they want their admission list to be approved. Someone with 270+ in jamb would be scoring 50/53/54 as postume scores leaving jamb to boost their aggr8 to 60&above. How can such people gain admission especially now that universities don't trust jamb?Hmmmmm...this right here, made a truck-load of sense. +like+ |
