I was in the same situation, I withdrawn my application on the 15th of May, it went under eligibility review on 1st of June, I received biometric validity letter on 15th of August, then I received the withdrawal letter 28th of September. I hope this help. Talksub: I withdrew my TRV application June 1st 2022, because of the long processing time. I applied since nov 2021 via the new portal but no response . I raised a gcms note and when I received it I saw that my application is still inprocess only background checked passed, bio passed ,security check passed , nothing yet has been done even eligibility has not started .
After I raised a web form to cancel and redraw my application . My eligibility started two day ago on the portal .
If you were able to cancel or successfully redraw your application, how long did it take ?
I am yet to get a response that my application has been redrawn or cancelled .
How long does it take ? |

DonRomeo I have ordered for GCMS, let me wait for it. When did you send the withdrawal request? Is the application under processing or under eligibility review?
post=115903356: Hi Mosleybaba,
Nothing has changed. I have not resolved it. The application is still pending and no one seems to have any solution to it or advice on what to do on nairaland. |

Pls bro, what was your outcome on this situation. I'm also in the same situation and confused as sent withdrawal request, just on the 15th, I received BVL and no update since then. DonRomeo: Hi guys,
I need your help to clarify my confusion. I applied for a visitor's visa and after waiting for four months, I decided to withdraw it because I felt I made a mistake in the application. I received an email from IRCC confirming receipt of my withdrawal application and stating they will decide whether I am entitled to a refund. A month after my withdrawal letter, I received BVL. What does this mean? Can they make a decision on the withdrawn application? If so, should I expect a positive or negative decision? |
