Three at the back with Walker breaking off the defensive block when in possession.
It is 4 at the back. Benardo is playing an Inverted role.

Asin!!!

I'm so disappointed, almost like he abandoned his playing style. See long balls everywhere
Why is Silva playing as a left back
The only positive is that Haaland has been bossing Saliba aerially. Pep let go of Cancelo only to start playing Benardo as a LB. na wa o

Haaland is bullying Saliba. Haaland vs Holding was 50/50. Gabriel has been able to get over him so far.

I agree that the debate about who is better than who is rather premature and will not be drawn into it. What caught my attention was your emboldened comment below, which I will punt back to you...

Of all the foreign born and raised female footballers who played age grade for either England or the US, name one of them who received a call up to the Senior WNT? The answer is zero.

For the record:

Toni Payne - United States U17, U20 & U23
Iffy Onumonu - United States U23
Ashley Plumptre - England U15, U17, U20, U23

- Compare this with Rinsola Babajide - England U19, U20 (FIFA WWC Bronze Medalist), U23, England Senior WNT invitee.

And interestingly, pretty much those that played age grade WNT for US/England, who then switched to Nigeria, walked straight into the SF starting 11.
You're not getting the point. Rinsola's call-up is not the argument here.
She has been waiting for England's call up for years but when that was no more in sight, and with age catching up on her, she decided to change allegiance. I don't have any problem with that. She is a welcome addition.

But then, a moniker here started pushing ridiculous narratives. Suddenly, she is better than Okoronkwo and Kanu. Reason why I asked that of she is that good, why is she not an integral member of the England women's national team?

BTW, those you mentioned above came willingly. Even Plumptre made her decision head-on.

It's not really about rating her above anybody but the fact is that she adds quality to the team.

She was called up by the Senior team in 2020.
Only once? I'm not sure she made the squad then. I'm not against her getting a spot in our talent bank. But to suddenly rating her above those who have been in the squad already because she changes allegiance is laughable.

let's face the truth Rinsola is a better player than Esther, @deltamani you are just scared she'll bench your favorite player
If she is that good, why then has she not get called up by England? I can bet you have not watched her play up to 3 times.

To win balls. How many times have Martinelli wins balls in the opposition half compared to Nketiah?
Haa!.... The purpose of pressing is to force your opponent to make mistake. That you press doesn't mean you will be the one to win the ball back. Pressing is more than running around, it has to do with anticipation, positioning and flexibility. This is where Martinelli has an edge.

Nketiah is the next best in pressing after Jesus and Odegaard. Good pressing is not about chasing the ball tirelessly, it's the end product that counts.

I can agree with your second paragraph. Pep do change tactics. But I am sure too such he will do that against us.
what then is the end product?
