Why Tammy when we have quality strikers
They should give us world class defenders & goalies
That’s all
Maybe Eze, Alaba & Saka too grin
Trust me, there will be a time we will have a lot of good defenders to choose from.
As for the goalie, I'm looking at Arthur Okonkwo. He has the height

TheSuperNerd:
Frank Onyeka wasn't Raphael Onyedika before the Original Raphael Onyedika burst onto the scenes. That is misleading information Basco. Onyeka was more of a box to box and roaming tackling machine back in Denmark who also slotted in at CDM but he wasn't famed for his ball skills and calm DM role execution like Onyedika was.

They are nothing alike even going back to their Danish days.

And ofcos against Man City only very few teams can actually assert themselves close to what they envision in their pregame plans but was just saying Thomas Frank had a plan and Frank Onyeka was vital to that plan. Press, run and disrupt. Exactly what he is good at. That he did and nothing "apparently" more.
I still stand by my word that a 5-year old kid will win you in a football debate. You may be a good scout but your analysis still needs a little brushing up.

When you're analysing different players, you don't pull one down for the other. You highlight their strengths and weaknesses and how best they complement each other. Onyedika may be better than Onyeka in certain attributes but Onyeka at the same time possesses skillsets Onyedika can't boast off. Are you better than Frank who played 'brainless' Onyeka against the world class city squad? SMH.

NB: instead of quoting me with your signatory foul words, take a pen and write down what you have learned here.

If I have my way,I would prefer we go billing and tomori ,make ndidi Dey pair tomori 4 back wyle billing takes d dm/cm role
If Tomori still want to play for us, I won't mind provided he typed a 3-paged apology for refusing us at first. grin grin
As for Billing, no hard feelings o but I'll take Onyeka, Onyedika, Bonke ahead of him. We had no proper backup for Ndidi when we approached him but now we do so he should stay put.

I don't understand how most of y'all just choose to ignore the message being passed. Fati shouldn't walk into our starting 11, irrespective lf whatever. He's a great lad but recently, he has lost it and by the time we realize that he's not special from the rest of the squad. If he wants a starting place, he has to work for it, and even, has to be fit.

I don't know how you can even think that Xavi hates the lad. One of you was even saying I actually support Ferran and downplay Fati. Lol, who'd do that? But right now, Fati is just below the pecking order.. Not because those there are better.
I understand you bro but the way you put it seems harsh (to some).

I'm an Arsenal fan so I'll give a similar example. When Martinelli came in, he was an instant hit. But he started getting recurring injuries and we all thought he will become another fraud. And when he later got injured again, Arteta did something that seem like freezing him off from the squad. He said he wanted Martinelli to heal properly. The surprising thing is when Martinelli came back from injury, the coach still refused to play him and even played ESR (a midfielder) ahead of him. The coach's excuse was that Martinelli is not ready. We all thought the coach hated him. Now, look how fit and sharp Martinelli looks now.

Fact is if a young player is getting injured frequently, he should be given a time off for proper treatment and training to allow him to rediscover his fitness and form. I'm not sure if that's what Xavi is trying to do.

However, selling Fati is not the right option now for the club because he is still undiscovered but if his agent insist, then they should let him go and also if the player himself want the move.

Jose making too much sense but at the same time it serves Tammy and others right. These foreign players don’t evaluate and weigh their options well when choosing the country to rep in international football.

Another that’s is annoying is Philips picked ahead of Southampton’s skipper prowse

Philips own is arguable since he is the only natural DM aside Rice. But that Maguire own, na pure egunje something...

Morata ,ferran torres ,they are so good in scoring for the national team ,check their stats and see for yourself

Ferran jutgla and veteran iago aspas is also available
Part or what made Ferran and Morata famous is their misses. That's why I mentioned Fati because he seems to be more clinical than the former two.

From the squads I've seen so far France has the best tools to win the WC but defending champions hardly defend their titles.
Ha Bros.... They have a good attack and defence but their Midfield is a little bit off. Toomuchmoney and Karma-finger may be found wanting when experience is needed.
Guen is good too but he is exactly not someone who can hold a Midfield effectively.
Germany won the world cup and there Midfield was decisive..
Pogba and Kante holding that Midfield was also part of why France dominated in 2018.
One of the reasons why super eagles do struggle is due to disjointed Midfield.
Midfield is very essential and that is where France are least strong.

Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembélé are the only players that have played every Barça.

Hopefully, this would be enough to earn Ansu a world cup berth. I'll be devastated if he misses out.
If Spain doesn't call up Ansu Fati, who will score for them in world cup? Spain doesn't have strikers like that.
