JobNewsy: Oga forget that thing. Moses Simon was on loan to Nantes, and his performance had him permanently signed! That's what we're talking about. You people here like defending underperforming players.
Awaziem couldn't make it at Porto, and was loan to Nantes (Moses Simon's club) and again, couldn't cement a place!
Omeruo? Only a mediocre player get along with a club to relegation. An outstanding player will always have his way out of a relegated team. Fact!
Lets call a spade a spade...some of our players are way below average! If you saw Porto's match yesterday, you'd agree with me that Zaidu is a gem. His runs was out of this world. In short, Sporting Lisbon were using the left flank to launch most of their attack, because it was almost impossible to penetrate from the right flank...the fear of Zaidu sha
So my people, lets put sentiment out of our judgement. The Super Eagles needs only the best legs. I don't support mediocrity but that doesn't mean I won't say the fact. Somebody went on loan twice and became the integral part of those teams throughout his loan stint. Is it so bad to give him a chance in his parent club even if it is cup game? And when Nantes came for him, they refused to sell because the fee was small. Zaidu was bought as a replacement and that probably worked for him. And how does this concern Omeruo? |

Even the keeper couldn't believe it. He simply flicked the ball with his left then hammered that shot with his right. |

timay: Dey there and be giving excuses for underwhelming players. After how many years in a club and you couldn't secure a permanent squad membership or even get bought by any of the numerous clubs you were loaned to. It can only point to one thing, that you've not been up to standard.
I used to have the same school of thought about a Porto conspiracy against our players , but never again. k |

JobNewsy: With Zaidu performance thus far, tell me why he'll be unjustly dropped from a match day squad.. Later people will start saying things like: "Porto is unfair to Nigerian players". If any Nigerian player fail to make it at a team such as Porto, then HE was simply NOT good enough. Simple! Were those players bought as direct replacement? How much game time were given to them? |

Trequartista literally translates to "three quarters" from Italian. That gives you some idea of where this player is likely to be found, and true enough, the trequartista takes up a position between the central midfielders and strikers. It's a tough role to play and differs from game to game. BTW guys, check out my signature and bring job o. . May God bless our hustle o |

Spy360: Saka's case is not racial at least. I think they feel he have not reach.
As for Ramsey, there was a season his fellow players didn't want him to score. It seems they lose a friend whenever he does. It was widely rumoured. chai. .the good old days. Should we call it coincidence or what? Anytime Ramsey scores,a celebrity must die. I don't think it still happens in Juventus though. |

Edopesin: Beggers aren't choosers
Even though we aren't really begging these players though, they are obviously more advertsed (English media and all) than any player that will come out of Nigeria and Africa and like it or not we will always lean to foreign born players even though we don't like to admit it.
And that won't change for a while as long as the average football fan in Nigeria would rather see an EPL match than our Football league matches Ok. .but we are not beggars |

Edopesin: Come back to reality, we will always be second fiddle to English players as long as these players aren't born and bred in Nigeria. Facts Then the NFF should show them the middle finger too if they have an ounce of dignity. It is not as if they are playing an important role for us especially the English lads. I mean Uzoho, Awaziem, Omeruo, Sanusi,Ndidi,Etebo, Chukwueze, Osimhen, Kalu, Simon are not born abroad but they are the main backbone of the squad. Credit to Ekong ,Leon,Alex and Tyronne though. There is nothing bad in approaching those FBs but the moment they reject our offer, we should move. |

JohnBullMySon: I will still like saka to be a part of our team if he decides to switch now not later. As for tomori, even if he was still eligible, I will advise NFF to make sure they reject him and onomah and loan them to ghana . Take back who? Do you think if our coaching crew are technically and tactically efficient, SE will be playing the way they did in those friendly matches? Even though,Saka is one of my favourite players (arsenal connect), taking him back is the last thing we should think of. We have our own dignity. That Akpoguma own sef, I just no wan talk . We are done playing a second fiddle to these English footballers. |
