Abusule007: Osimhen Allays Injury Fears, Ready For Super Eagles Vs Benin, Lesotho
Lille forward Victor Osimhen has allayed fears he could miss Nigeria’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header against Benin and Lesotho as a result of injury, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen sustained an abductor injury in Lille’s 3-O home win against Girondis Bordeaux on Saturday.
The 20-year-old was replaced by Loic Remy in 58th minute of the encounter.
The former Wolfsburg of Germany striker took to the social media to provide update on the injury.
”I’m fine, it’s just a minor injury issue, thanks brother,”Osimhen replied centre-back, Kenneth Omeruo who asked a question on the severity of the injury.
Osimhen has scored seven goals and recorded two assists in 11 league games for Lille this season.
The Super Eagles will host neighbours Benin on November 14 in their opening AFCON 2021 qualifying fixture and then face Lesotho in Maseru five days later.

edi287: Well if I were to choose between Pepe and Iwobi, I'd pick Pepe easily as I know what he can give when he fully adapts. Dude has the most key passes and dribbles in the team. He is adapting very slowly but the talent is not in doubt. I would pick Iwobi . Pepe is good no doubt but iwobi will offer something more to this current arsenal team. Although, am not writing off pepe yet. He seems to me someone who is willing to do more. |

comodo: Not only d bichi dude. Garba kept the Akande guy on the bench throughout the qualifiers. Even the 3rd place game, he couldn't give him even 3mins runout. I was like why bringing this boy from UK to keep him on the bench. He was not capped and now the boy is still as free as air. The much talked about ebiwoie came for the try out. He made the team to Brazil. The same Garba did not feature him in any friendly and kaboom he was dropped. From nowhere Bichi name surfaced. Naija matter tire person I swear. at least , you got my point. the team management and selection lately have been questionable |

Newcastle to start with Lille winger in major rebuild 2 hours ago 11:41
Newcastle have set their sights on Lille striker Victor Osimhen as they plan on a major rebuild in January, reports The Chronicle.
The Premier League club have reportedly sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old, who was named as September's Ligue 1 Player of the Month after two goals and two assists in five league games.
The young forward now has eight goals in 11 appearances for the club since joining from Belgian outfit RSC Charleroi in the summer, having also scored on his full Nigeria debut in a 2-2 friendly draw against Ukraine in September. dem dey craze? who dash monkey banana? make dem face their lane o |

cc12: He had already made a move for the ball before it deflated, so you don't expect to him easily react to a ball moving to another direction maybe u should rewatch the goal. After the ball deflected, it didn't went straight into the net,it deflected upward before dropping into the net. Yes,he moved before the ball deflected but he had all the time in the world to readjust coupled with his height. Even his teammates will disagree with u on this |

cc12: That goal was a major deflation, it wasn't the keeper's fault, no goalkeeper would catch that ball no..I disagree. with his height, he would have at least punched the ball out for corner but dude gave it up too soon. |

I have the feeling that they are stronger than Ukraine yea..I agreed. They are a good team to play especially when we wanna check the fitness level of our players and how immune they are to intense pressing. |

Anybody who is denying these two facts is blind or has an agenda how come he has about 92% passing accuracy vs Brazil |

Gomis is a gk and I said he would start
Sabaly is good in going forward ,he is not better than Aina sorry ,sabaly can’t defend ,he was at Bordeaux bench few times last season even that of the GK is debatable. imagine the kind of goal he conceded at the final |

Super Eagles Rated Second Youngest National Team In The World
Could have defeated Ukraine and Brazil sef.
This team is trying. And Rohr really needs a good assistant to complement him and cover his shortcomings |
