The article said he has become impressive since deployed as a CB. Now the question is, how many matches did he play as a CB prior that article for u to label him consistently outstanding?

Also, how good was he in his preferred RB position before those two impressive outings as a CB?

Final question, since those two indicated matches, how good has he been abi the two matches were a one off(fluke)?

Lazy man shocked shocked if you are truly interested do some desk top investigation and find out.

Don't rely on what l say.

I am down now......my team ALL BLACKS New Zealand lost to England in the semi-final of rugby world cup undecided

Your team? How long have you been watching rugby and the All Blacks for? You saw that they are the best of all time and decided that they are your team? grin grin

Please, watch the sport for a while and quit bandwagoning. This loss was expected. The 6 Nations is miles ahead of the Southern Hemisphere and the Rugby Championship is becoming stale with competition.

This looks more like a quota system line up. Not a tribalist but we all know where football is made in Nigeria. We need the best U17 legs undecided

Who’s bichi

Bichi is the Son of DSS Chief.
He was a last minute controversial inclusion in the team
Rumours has it that the NFF forced the technical crew to include him in the team in order to curry favour from d DSS boss in view of the corruption charges they (the NFF top officials) are facing.

You answer the question with your own question.

Playing for the SE If you are of Nigerian origin and already making headway in your career will not add any value to your career.

If you are in obscurity it may give you much needed publicity and recognition.

You are not following. Honestly

You are changing the substance of the discourse entirely with a completely new subject matter.

The question emanated from the proposition that playing for Nigeria will give Nigerian origin players forward leverage in thier careers and much needed marketing boost.

That proposition will only be true if the players in question is not doing anything of substance and us more or less obscure.

For players who have recognition already playing for European youth national teams and or already making waves in thier respective club and league. It simply adds no value.

However, playing for a major European nation will add much needed marketing value and lucrative commercial endorsements. Consider how much Nike pay Rashford England international and it brings some context

As you probably should know Pepe and Aubmeyang were both born in France.

In that context l am not sure how much these players get in terms of commercial endorsements from the likes of Nike, Adidas, etc if anything at all. That would be reflection of having less commercial marketing value within the West as African players.

We are not talking about transfer fees and player valuations alone.

Oga, forget long grammar. You can't confuse me with that. I'm not sparsely educated.
The post I quoted was very specific. You said Eze will play for the Super Eagles when he secured big contracts and endorsements. The pointer you threw was very clear and you viewed the situation from a position of prejudice, assuming the narrative that the marketing value of the African player is not up there with his English counterpart.

I cited examples where African born players get fat paychecks, with their values skyrocketing and equally comparable to the average European player. Some could transfer for world record fees.
Wilfred Zaha was quoted for how much by crystal Palace again?

Bottom line is that Eze is not waiting for any fat paycheck. If he plays for Nigeria today, he will still get transferred from QPR for £20-30M. Adidas and Nike will still sign endorsements with him just like they did with Aubameyang and Zaha.

Like I said earlier, their performance from the pretournament matches leaves little to be desired. I hope they prove me wrong because we seriously need to continue unearthing streams of talents from our age grade football. FYI results are more important in a match. What will it profit them to have 90% possession and still lose?
