If Sudan is to gini?? Senegal should wrap this up in the 2nd 45 biko. Conceding to Sudan sef is a slap on Senegal's face grin

Kwesi Appiah has done a good job with Sudan but this is where their fairy tale ends.
Na why I put 'if' now. He's the only bright spark in their team.

Noticed same but for quite a while. Krepin Diatta was a breakout winger for Senegal back at the 2019 Afcon where he was crowned best young player. We all remember that edition where Senegal reached the final losing to Algeria that knocked us out in the semis (Mahrez FK).
As time went on though, his versatility on the right as a winger/wingback/rightback shone through more often and has been listed as a RB for Monaco recently and Senegal are using him just the same. This has been spotted since his Club Brugge days though as a wingback in a 3-5-2.
Oh thank you. I can still remember his exploits at that Afcon. Kinda strange seeing him at RB.

If Sudan is to get anything out of this match, Abdullah must sharpen his shooting boots. And they must create space for him.

Declan Rice has travelled with the Arsenal squad for the game tomorrow. The England International pushed all day to play against Villa earlier this week but fell just short. Decision to be made tomorrow. We move.

He should rest biko
*sighs*

Rice starts. Madueke and Martinelli replace Saka and Trossard. Brock Lesnar leads the line.

Na offside nah. But I think the dive would still be given because there was contact.
You saw contact there? 😯

I want to believe VAR is now making Refs lazy. Or maybe na the VAR people na the real lazy. Cos tell me why that simple decision is taking more than a minute.

Semenyo to City... That's scary. Had it been Emery is not such a loser, I would say we should get Rogers from Villa.

Unpopular opinion but Benjamin fredrick is too short to be a world class centre back

His height will prevent him from reaching his full potential in that position

He's better in a full back or defensive midfield position
You made a nice observation but sometimes, it's not by height. He may alse bulked up in years to come and get himself a right size for a CB.

Late Jota (RIP) and Sterling once beat Mertesacker aerially. Recently, Lisandro Martinez dominated Woltemade aerially in United's match against those agberos from Tyneside.

An excellent observation though.

Recently Saka haven't been his best self, especially in front of goal and making final decisions. Maybe Arteta should try playing Madueke today ahead of him to allow hom rest and maybe come in later. We need him to be sharp during this new year run.
Make Tolami free my guy. We get serious on-pitch business to do.

Saka and Eze didn't really have the best first half of the season. Hopefully, they wake up for the second half because these two are game changers.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 10:22am On Jan 03
I hope Eze is watching this guy and learning one or two things. We're on a counter, Hincapie raced from his own box and arrived on the opponent's box but slipped. What did he do? He stood up sprinted back to his position immediately. He didn't even check if he's got bruises.

Bravo Piero!

Sell Nwaneri and get Rogers from Villa.
A fan suggested it today and I got mixed feelings.

Ironically Arsenal won their match 4-1 the same match week , but haters will not see that one. Na other teams wey play goalless draw dem wan pin on Arsenal again.

I never see this kind obsession before for my life.
Imagine. We scored 4 goals against one of the best teams in the league while playing tge 'CBs' at fullback. But those wey dey play attacking players at FB dey struggle to score. Las las they'll be alright.

Well except the Spanish team has their own bias which is the case here, Raya is the undisputed number 1 whether we have lifted a trophy or not.

If you take a look at Rayas performance and catalogue in 2025, He has made some saves that you would have no option than to applaud him.

I will give you a scenario, in the viewing center where I watched the match, I mean the Aston Villa match, we were so stunned by that Rayas’ save that we took some few seconds to react to it because everyone including me had believed it has entered.

Even the Man U fan sitting beside me admitted that Raya was good and even at some point started rooting for us.

On my part, in my head I was like “Omo this guy na keeper Abeg” reflexes choke.
Well, I quite agree with you but that number 1 spot won't be offered to him on a platter. Joan Garcia is also a good goalie. I've been following him since the transfer saga. Unai Simon might need to sit out. It's between Raya and Garcia now. Raya has an edge though.

The refs refused to give Arsenal penalty against same Everton last December which could have gotten us 3 points. The following week, Brighton equalised us through a controversial penalty, six points went down the drain as a result of officiating. Biased refereeing go reach everybody jare, na turn by turn.
And this too... Exact same. Arsenal's is even more convincing

As much as I would like to start Chukwueze, this formation wont be bad at all
I love this. During build up, Iwobi can drift inside just beside Lookman with Osimhen up top. Ndidi drops between the CBs while Bright and Bruno holds the width. Weldone Prof.. Very good lineup.
