Foreign Affairs › Re: South Africans Blame Xenophobia For Taxi Business Collapse by motymop: 11:00pm On Jun 16 |
chidiokay: You are so myopic in reasoning such that you can'teven see your nose kid,
is xenophobia about Niger8ians, is it only Nigerians that are black people in SA, here you are making it all about Nigeria
Despite people for chad & niger joining insurgencies in Nigeria, do we citizens go about mauling these proplle,
is crime only pertinent to Nigerians, south africa locals we see looting shops and carting away goods during xeno attacks how are they better than crimimals The issue of immigration violation is that not an exvlusive duty of govt to manage in accordance to laes, if people commit crime, go after them arrest them But how is that a justification to hate on fellow blacks You are the one that is myopic Didn't this xenophobia started because an ignorant man claim he is king of a place in South Africa. This is not even tribalism but the Igbo king saga created the pathway for the displacement of many African people in South africa Continue to gaslight people, we know the history If there was no cry about an Igbo king by South African nationalists, there won't be the recent xenophobia Let me remind you Many Nigerians in South Africa are into drug dealing and fraud...this is fact They fight on the street, kill each other, do cultism and then annoy the inhabitants with their racality. |

SmallmebigGod: Many did not read the post. just rushing to comment .
“ Scrambling for a solution, after being taken advantage of by a Nigerian friend to whom he had entrusted the money, the friend agreed to transfer about half of the post-tax winnings to Ehizomwengie’s cousin’s account. The funds were then used to buy Mama Africa, a shop selling food produce from Africa in the seaside town of Falconara in the Marche region of Italy.”
This is the highlight for those who jumped the post. Typical cheating Nigerian wanting to make money off the struggle of people See how the Nigerian took advantage of his brother Looks like the money has finished |

Who noticed that they always attack the kings
Do you know why?
You can actually destroy a community by removing the head and putting your own people
It changes the balance of power.
For instance, fulanis will kidnap the head of a village who is Christian, change the head with their own people and make sure the community is loyal to that new head |

MrGerald: People don't really understand how damaged Iran is at the moment that's why they want to include rebuilding of Iran in the negotiations which US is rejecting. are you living in IRAN you are just repeating what online people are saying instead of using critical thinking if iran is so damaged, why are they still attacking US assets in the middle east? |

Business › Re: My Opay Account Was Hacked by motymop: 9:28am On May 22 |
Goosethetruth: The moderators moving this type of threads straight to the front page, need to be really careful to avoid attracting a law suit. This thread was instituted at around 04.00 hours this morning and by 06.00 hours ,it is already on the front page. This is despite the fact that the OP of the thread has a history of opening comical and inane threads on different topics all over this forum.
Let us study the facts. The OP claims he downloaded an app from an advert on social media but does not mention the name of the advert nor the name of the app he claimed to have downloaded. The OP did not provide any screen shot of the aftermath of the effects of the app download on his phone. The OP did not tell us the make of the phone he was using for this process. The OP failed to tell us how much money was lost. Next thing is the OP screen shots the logo of the Opay bank under his thread.
This in my humble opinion is either a joke thread instigated for the OP's personal morbid amusement or an calculated hack job to smear a rival. Either way this kinds of threads need to be thoroughly investigated before gracing the front page, but then, what do I know? Lawsuit ko, lawsuit no Opay app is not secured. Simple as abc. |

Validated: The hacker took over his phone, so OTP, email verification and all MFA notifications will be received by the SCAMMER. So, the victim has NO CASE. He deliberately handed his device to the scammer. He has now learnt the hard way. Nothing is really free online. You are not serious The opay app is trash if hackers can just hack it How can you say he has no case...he has a big case, the security of opay app have been compromised. Opay would have blocked the transaction and help trace his money since he is a user |

Fountainofyouth: Pls get sense,
Those people will not hesitate to trash anything Nigeria be it international or whatever, if we have a big investment like mtn in their country, those people will not hesitate to pressure their government to sell the investment cheaply and chase us out, of which their government will definitely do.
Dont pointlessly argue unnecessarily. you literally don know what you are saying. it is you that need the sense. the South Africa’s Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF), alongside the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), hold about $230 billion in assets they visited dangote refinary in a hope to invest in his upcoming ipo. capital does not care about your emotions, it cares about returns.. |

Fountainofyouth: It is not only poor people, their politicians e.g minister of sports and interiors, and other notable people in their country have come out to support the xenophobia, are they poor?
Nairaland is not the only social media, explore elsewhere or consult Google. They are local politicians ...majority of the xenophobia are from poor people. International capital does not discriminate, it goes where it is needed. |
