What’s more concerning is how easily foreigners gain access to sensitive areas like IDP camps and conflict zones without proper diplomatic protocol. They arrive, move freely, and create content that shapes international perception often without context or accountability.

Nigeria’s biggest weakness here isn’t just the insecurity, it’s the lack of coordinated communication and information diplomacy. When foreigners dominate the story, they define how the world sees the crisis, and that can have long-term political and economic consequences.
