Kirchoffs:
I doubt that day will ever come unless there is a radical change .....The Fulani hegemony and the northern oligarchy will never allow...their born to rule mentality has stunted the growth of the country in leaps and bounds.

They were very scared when they saw southerners speak with once at the #ENDSARS campaign...They have their paid media thugs hired to spread hatred here on Nairaland and other social media sites by disguising as southerners here, all this are part of the divide and rule tactics they play.

Recollect your thoughts don't get caught up in the mix cos the BMC and northern oligarchy controlled media is full of dirty tricks...

Your epithet got me..

How will the Yoruba Republic handle them, because they will not go away. Will the Ijebus accept the rulership of the Egbas? Will Oyos allow the Ijebus to lord it over them and continue with their exploitation given their bitter history?
Will the Ijeshas forget their ancient animosity to the Oyos and what they suffered in their hands or revive them?
Can the stubborn Ekitis allow the equally stubborn Ijeshas to Lord it over them?

Kiriji war comes to mind..

Funny and amusing. He said Yorubaland had television station before France. This is not a good argument, even if it were true. I ask you, is television station an achievement? Was television invented by a Yorubaman or woman? How much of the history of television do we know?

John Baird who invented it cried when he saw the havoc and the perversion of purpose that his invention was been used for as against its intended purpose. That is why it is amusing that in 2020 someone would be crediting a television station as an achievement. I do not see how having a television station in 1949, ahead of France, gives us any cause for bragging.

It's just an ego buster thing, that.... Civilization is not the prerogative of the whites... cool cool

It's just disheartening reading this..

Well, people perceived me for being headstrong simply because I'm always firm on my resolve, irrespective of the circumstances. Whereas I know what I want and others cannot determine what's meaningful to me

They took me for a gay because I've never been seen with a female folks and I do call my male niggaz pet names grin. However, I keep more female friends than male but mostly virtually.

People mistake introvert beings for been cool and gentle not knowing that they can kill without remorse because if you offend them, they'll be nursing that thought for months until the grace of God clear it form them.

TV/Movies / Re: Ooni Of Ife, Ogunwusi Wants BBNaija Scrapped And Replaced by Mouhstorph5(m): 9:24am On Aug 15, 2020
ethicallyright:
We claim to be a democratic state , yet , every single election , even at the grassroot level, is always disrupted by violence.

We also claim to be a secular nation, yet , those who inhabit the upper map of this country are pushing for a state governed by the dictates of Sharia while those in the South would not hesitate to hinder the freedom of their fellow citizens to watch the show which supports our economy.

We claim to be a capitalist nation whose economy should be dependent on the forces of demand and supply , yet, the government fixes prices of most goods and pursue investors who seek to provide better quality whom they sacrifice at the expense of their friends who would survive in no developed country other than those of Sub-saharan Africa.

I have always advocated for the change of ideology (which we do not even have) than change of leaders. Take every one in Lagos(Nigeria) to Oslo (Norway) or Tokyo (Japan) and bring people there down to Nigeria and watch Nigeria be like Norway and Japan.

Build what ever infrastructure you want, Nigerians will urinate and dump refuse in gutters and drainage systems . They will steal fuel from transformers that provide light in their area and kill each other in an election day. Look at the NBA election and the NMA election in Enugu which where characterized by conflict and violence respectively and you'll agree it's not even education that is the problem

Norwegians , Swedish citizens, Swiss people, Danish Men, British women etc have more nude reality shows (Naked Attraction in UK is one of them) but they can maintain a long queue and wait to vote on an election morning without the presence of a security official and there will be no noise or violence.

God bless you for this. How I wish I can like this thousands of time.

Family / Re: Why you Shouldn't Leave Your Parents House When You're Not Capable by Mouhstorph5(m): 2:10am On Jul 30, 2020
Munzy14:

Truer words spoken!.

I have a family friend, whose dad has a small bungalow, with other properties rented out.

The man never allowed his sons rent a house outside, he told them if u leave my house, u are moving into yours. And that was it. The First son an engineer married to a medical doctor, still live with his dad.

Second son married, built his own house and packed out.

Third son followed suit before relocating to dubai.

Fourth son, who happened to be last graduated from law school, then moved in to Live with the third son, who later, left naija.

Now, first son has built his first house, but rented all the apartment. Still living with the dad.

Only daughter was the only one who was allowed to leave house to a rented apartment.

I think this leaving house of a thing deals with; Job, liberty to indulge into youthful exuberance and exploration , toxic parents, and poverty.

Freedom is good, poorly handled can be devastating.

Nice submission!
