I have been to Sandton before, in 2006. Looks like its really grown and changed alot. The white folks there gave us those looks as well, esp after discovering we were non local blacks, the service even changed considerably. Eish, the trouble of living in SA whether as a visitor is having to deal with history every 3 mins of ones existence.
In fact, it was so bad for my cousin who happened to be visiting SA some time ago. There happened to be a test match between Springboks and Wallabies when he was attending a work shop in SA. Being a rugby head like myself, and being a Saturday, he was naturally inclined to attend. But alas, he and his equally Rugby mad colleague were manhandled and insulted racially by ordinary white fans and asked to leave the place in no uncertain terms, ticket or none . He only discovered much later that Rugby venues and matches are a bastion and stronghold of white supremacists and its unspoken amongst black folk in your country not to attend such places except as the help. Please SAns its impossible for black outsiders to enjoy your country when made to feel unwelcome. Work on this please, most Africans resident in your land consistently point to these things as a hindrance to the enjoyment of life.

Sorry Brother, You must visit my country next time ,nothing will happen to you, I used to attend rugby matches at Loftus (Pretoria) and here in Johannesburg (Ellis Park Stadium), I attend the games of this two teams Blue Bulls and The Lions, when they play at Ellis Park and loftus stadium, but I am not a big supporter of this game, my Girl always want to attend the matches just for fun, It was just 12 years after apartheid, our people were not used to foreigners at that time. Sorry once again for that. We are still learning about the continent and the rest of the world. We were living our own life for many many years, we were separated from the continent and the rest of the world since from the beginning of SA till 1994. I don't blame my people for that, it was part of the law 12 years before you arrived in SA. That was a struggle of my people(Black,White,Indians, and others). We did so many things together(Good,Bad and Ugly) as South Africans, But at the end of the day, we are still standing as people , What I can say is, we were still healing ourselves Brother, I LOVE MY PEOPLE( ALL RACES), AND I LOVE MY COUNTRY , I don't want to blame my people, because I know our struggle.

No,no,no, we all care about the girls, the problem is the poor strategy to save the girls, if you know where the criminal are in your country, the police must go their to save the victims, not the army, the army used to defend your country from other countries and patrolling your borders, that is how I know the duties of the army, for criminals in your country is your police, even in france and america I always see a lot of police cars and helicopters chasing the same people in their countries, the problem here is; somebody knows exactly where criminals are , but no one is arresting them, if you commit crime in your country the police must arrest you, we care a lot man, If the police doesn't do their work very well, is where the problem is!
