Today I was at Nelson Mandela Square Mall in Santon for shopping, I was so surprised about the development in that area, Since I last visited that area three years ago, when my former president Nelson Mandela Passed on, Now Santon City is growing very fast. I always traveled between Soweto,Johannesburg Central and Pretoria, I always see Santon from the distance,Santon is too close to be called the most beautiful city in the continent/the world like Cape Town,This is good for the economy of South Africa |

As a Kenyan that has traveled to South Africa here and there. They identify their problems and immediately fix them. Which I greatly respect. At one point there was rampant xenophobia, they marched the streets protesting and marching. Tell me another country that cares that well-beings of their immigrants that much. I have nothing bad to say about you guys. Congratulations and hope you maintain the success you're being achieving. Xenophobia was a sad story of my country, but we also tried to solve that problem too, Kenya and east africa as a whole, has a special connection in my life, the history is also contributing to this deep connection, I never visit any country in my life, but your country and your region will remain special forever, nigerians you are also my brothers. |

SA too is afflicted by many of the challeges dogging the other African countries, mention it; coruption, insecurity, tribal/racial prejudice, poverty, HIV/AIDS.....SA is not perfect. South Africa is in AFRICA, If you mention AFRICA, You also included South Africa, In South Africa we solve problems, we don't sit with the problems for a long time like other countries in our continent, our government is building houses for the poor, our rule of law is working perfectly in SA, No one is above the law, Our government is creating job for unemployed citizens nowadays, SA government is also providing free medication for poor patients. South Africa is always ahead of its challenges. I love my country. We face our challenges in South Africa, We don't hide our challenges, And we believe we will resolve our problems on our own. Hbuyosh: Nigeria is not too big and complicated to govern effectively. What u Nigerians need to admit is that your country wasnt blessed with good leaders who could steer that country to high economic and development limits. Almost all of them were only interested in looting the country, they did not bother to deliver good social services to the people. And why did they need to care? They did not gain power thru popular vote, but thru the barrel of the gun. And they were very certain that they were not going to stay for long before they themselves were dislodged from power or even killed. So, they had to steal as much as possible.
Nigeria is not a very big country, do not lie to yourselves thus. How is the US doing it. How about Russia, China, Indonesia.........these terribly huge societies, how are they getting it right, but not even the tiny countries of Africa, even with a relatively small population of just 24m. Watch Angola and Sudan (north)! They are not very progressed countries, despite their massive wealth. Therefore, brethren, the size of your population shouldnt be an excuse for the dysfunction in the Nigerian society and economy. It narrows down instead to your past history of poor leadership. U havent quite recovered from that, but slowly, u are getting out of the mess. It cannot happen overnight.
WE Kenyans here are not in anyway suggesting that ours is a perfect country. We too are suffering from pretty much similar problems as Nigeria. Corruption, tribalism, insecurity, widespread poverty.. etc Too many economists have suggested that were it not for the rampant corruption, tribalism and insecurity, ours would have indeed been one of the most developed countries in Africa.....on a per with S.Korea or Malasia. By now, we should have had an economy with a GDP well over $150bn. But see, we also messed up big time.
Africa is such a mess! @"AFRICA IS SUCH A MESS!" I don't disagree with your statement, But Please Brother , Exclude South Africa from that MESS, The word MESS and South Africa is like OIL and WATER |

What obtains here in Nigeria is worse than racism. The other time, many Nigerians, including youth corp members, were lynched simply because someone lost an election. nestic: Muamar Gaddafi's Prophecies:
"I will not go into exile to any foreign country. I was born here in Libya, and I will die here. This country was a dessert, and I turned it into a forest, where everything can grow.
No one Love this land more more than its citizens. If Europe and America tells you that they love you, be careful. They love the wealth of your land. The oil and not the people. They are helping you to fight against me but, it will be more wise for you to fight against them because they are fighting against your future and progress.
My message to you the people of Libya is, they are helping you to kill me but you will pay the price because you will suffer. And my message to you America and Europe is, you will kill me, but be ready to fight a never ending TERRORISM.
Before you realise your ignorance, terrorists will be hitting you at your doorstep."
GADDAFI once told the Nigerian and British governments to divide Nigeria into two, so that the Hausa/Fulani (Moslems), Yoruba (Christians) and Biafrans/Igbo, can live as neighbouring countries.
It's good we look at these 16 REAL REASONS WHY COL. GADDAFI WAS KILLED:
1. There is no electricity bill in Libya, electricity is free for all its citizens.
2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens are at a 0% interest by law.
3. Home is considered a human right in Libya. Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home.
4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinars (US$50,000) from the government to buy their first apartment.
5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi, only 25% of Libyans were literates. Today, the figure stands at 83%.
6. Libyans taking up farming as a career, they received farm land, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free.
7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they needed in Libya, the government funded them to go abroad for it.
8. In Gaddafi's Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price.
9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.
10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally.
11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation, the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.
13. A mother who gave birth to a child under Gaddafi, received US $5,000 as child benefit upfront.
14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15
15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree
16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man- Made River Project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.
If this is called "Dictatorship", I wonder what type of Leadership Democrats have!!

The biggest problem of African countries is poor infrastructure, unemployment and poverty. if this gdp is going to provide nigerians with electricity, clean water, good roads, employment and eliminating "slums" across nigeria , I will celebrate with nigeria, but for now "NO"! The challenges of the most african countries is too high, especially on infrustructure, including nigeria. I know nigeria from TV and this forum, almost everything isn't up to standard in nigeria, especially buildings and roads needs a serious maintenance, I am not sure about unemployment, but I see many nigerians coming to my country each and every time, looking for employment.. The success of nigeria is a good news for africa, because nigeria will accommodate a lot of unemployed youth from other african countries and offer them employment opportunity. This it will be a good news indeed, for the african continent at large |

========= HERE ARE WHAT CNN, BBC, AL JEZEERA AND WESTERN MEDIA WILL NOT EMPHASIZE OR TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR BELOVED COUNTRY NIGERIA:
That: 19. On the 7th May, 2016 at Howard University in Washington D.C history was made. Out of 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, 43 of them were Nigerians and out of 27 awards given, 16 went to Nigerians.
That: 20. The Doctor Who Saved and Treated Hillary Clinton In New York. US Democratic Presidential hopeful is a Nigerian? Hillary Clinton has expressed her gratitude to her Nigerian-born US-based doctor, Dr. Oladotun Okunola for helping her to recover from her recent health challenge.
That: 21. Nigeria is the only country that survived the scourge of the deadly Ebola Virus even after the western world refuse to be of help and left us to our fate, but with our unity of purpose and determination and sacrifice from our indigenous medical practitioners, the deadly Ebola left the shores of our great country Nigeria. (Who says we are not great and God is not on our side?)
That: 22. Nigeria without the influence of other countries outlawed gay marriage, public displays of same-sex, despite the International push and discrimination, we stood for what is right my beloved people. Let celebrate that.
That: 23. Many foreign and Nigerian born sport men and women represented various nations in the just concluded 2016 Rio Olympic Games bringing to them laurels and Honour.
That: 24. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is one of Nigeria's best world famous celebrities. Uzoamaka Nwanneka “Uzo” Aduba is an American actress, who is known for her role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on the television series 'Orange Is the New Black'. Chiwetel Ejiofor a great Hollywood actor, Adetomiwa Edun (as Knight In Merlin TV series) and Nonso Anozie are English actors of Nigerian descent, And many more!!
Now hear this, they fail also to let you realize that:
25. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians world over and only less than 250,000 of this figure have traceable criminal records. This is about 0.14% of our entire national population in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global media.
YES… Nigerians are corrupt, full of scammer’s, criminals both internet and inter-land, drug peddlers and fraudsters these are the daily reports our friendly western media will gladly love to share and broadcast and many Nigerians may settle for those facts wrapped with lies instead of looking inward.
YES… do I say lies? Refusing to see the greatness in ourselves because they are constantly telling us our story leaving their own ugly side of western decadence and silent corruption, we gladly pay them through digital TV subscriptions to listen to their various negative news.
YES… we have bad and gullible leaders no doubt about that, the polity is heated up and occupied by confused politician oh YES! Will that be enough to throw the towel and bend our head in defeat? No!!! I still believe that soon our MOSES AND JOSEPH will emerge to deliver our Nigeria from slavery and famine respectively.
We are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich and don’t be lied to. Wherever you look in this great country, Nigeria, heroes abound both now and in our recent and ancient past. Every state in Nigeria is blessed with one or more natural resources enough to sustain us.
If all you do is listen to mainstream Western media negativity, you’ll not get the full picture of who you really are and what your beloved NIGERIA is destined to be.
They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas et al.
Do not listen to any leader who says Nigerians are criminals, no matter who he is, or his height and position. We’re not a nation of scammers, drugs & corruption, but a people with a verifiable track record of greatness let us collectively celebrate our common values and tell our story ourselves.
If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one will blow it for you. GREAT NIGERIA!!!
The entire world await a sleeping giant, in silence they envy our uniqueness as a NATION with living together despite our ethnic diversity and disagreement sometimes. One single country with over 400 languages.
The RECESSION could be an awakening pills meant just to wake us from our slumber and not punishment as it were, but to remind the SLEEPING GIANT Nigeria where we are coming from as a nation and how to posses our rightful leadership position as a nation.
I am proud am created a Nigerian, thank you God!! Be proud of who you are! Be proud of Nigeria wherever you go. Take out your Passport with pride. STOP the negativity. It is possible (NIGERIA WILL BE GREAT AGAIN) believe in yourself.
Let start a revolution in all means possible by all a sundry to change our country for good. Let us disappoint the world positively.
Be proud of our (GREEN) HERITAGE. Be enthusiastic of our IMMACULATE (WHITE) depicting a bright great future and let us unit and build one strong and indivisible nation called Nigeria.
#NigeriaWillRuleAgain.
….I have a dream, that someday soon the Whiteman will queue for Visa at the future New Nigerian Embassies...So help us God!
