Good day people, I want to go and study in Australia. My sponsor's statement of account for 3 months goes like dis.

Total credit : 47. 6 million
Totatal debit : 42 million

Available balance is 4.5 million but the checklist requires 40,000 AUD. Which is 9 million Niara.
Will dis statement substitute or should I back date it to wen he had 12 million in it? or wait for money to flow in again before I print?

pls, which do dey look at? D available balance abi the cash flow?

Bro,@bellong I just followed ur links and write up in the pr forum and I found out dat the state of Victoria nominates Geology and it's found in the Csol list, dey require 2 yrs work experience and 6.0 english. Pls I wanna apply ahead. Lemme pm u for more direction. Thanks

What of the home country tie, how did u do it?

I applied with waec. Firstly i frontloaded my medicals on 20th then on 21st i applied online with my certified copies of my CV, sponsors statement of account, ties to home country, sponsorship letter, landed properties & building documents, my passport & sponsor's passport, last employment letter, birth cert, academic documents, opv cert, coe, offer letter, tuition receipts, e.t.c . No there was no interview

I have all this things ready apart from landed properties and ties to home country. I tried making my brother's sponsorship letter look like a tie but my agen keep rejecting it. Sayin I should go swear an affidavit of return or so.

Like bellong said; have yu considered emigrating from naija straight, rather than via M.Eng? Check if yu meet the minimum 60pts for Engineering
Age, IELTS, 1st deg, work experience, wifey work experience etc; if yu do, why not work ur PR from naija? Know personally some folks that did it from naija (three different families)

How long dose it take before pr is issued?

I should have raised this alarm since but the fear that it might block ways for decent people.

I had a deal with some guy, frankie2k (moniker) with name Anuma Franklin over two weeks ago.
To be honest, he asked me if I should accept pay before service, I said no, after service, u pay. In case it dose not work so u would not come online and cry wolf.

Now, it's obvious I was foolish to have made dat decision.
For two weeks now, he keeps telling me he dnt have network to transfer my money and his not replying my mails no more. U can imagine.

I must say I appreciate what everyone on here giving out valuable information is doing, I've read through quite a few pages and I must say it is very informative and impressive... Kudos to everyone.

I am interested in the making the move to the Great Oz! I think it is a really nice country with opportunities (definitely better than Nigeria).
I have a BSc in Chemistry from a Nigerian university and I've completed my NYSC, I got an offer for an MSc in Finance last year into Griffith university but I did not take up the offer. I have gone through the Skilled Occupation List and would like to make the right move, considering I'd like to stay back after my studies.

I'd like the experts in the house to please weigh in and advice me on the proper thing to do as regards choice of course to study taking into consideration my first degree, the SOL and the assessment factor ( I read somewhere in the previous pages that your first degree is just as important as any advanced degree you might acquire and plays a major role in assessment). For example if I were to decide to come to Australia and study maybe Chemical Engineering, how will this play out? OR Would it be possible to switch career path and study something in maybe Psychology (this majorly to ensure that I stand a chance of getting something after my studies, I think it will be a complete waste to find out after studies that I won't be able to achieve my aim). I am asking these questions so I know how well to prepare myself and to be able to make the right decision. Please feel free to furnish me with any information you feel is necessary. Thanks.

Either u choose an educational path or a career path relating to sol list. If u get admitted into sociology, remember admission is free and na ur money dem want but the embassy might find it not comparable.
So choose rightfully and act fast cos time no dey again.
