By Babatope Babalobi But from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force – Matthew 11 vs. 12 1 Peter 5 vs. 8: Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, firm in your faith, These two verses contain very important messages that every Christian must understand. The first is that you have an enemy. Immediately you give you life to Christ, Satan has also committed himself to opposing you. Therefore you have no choice in this matter. The Bible not only describes Satan as an enemy, the Bible describes it as ‘Your enemy’ The second lesson from this passage is that you can not avoid to be careless or to relax. Every Christian must possess the qualities of a Military soldier. The Bible particularly counsels Christians to be ‘sober’ and ‘alert’. You can not afford to go to bed believing that all is settled. Several calamities have occurred to Christians through carelessness. As a matter of fact, I have come to realize that Satan exploits the ignorance and carelessness of Christians to launch evil attacks. Therefore, you have to watch and pray. You must continuously be spiritual hot. See the rest here http://christonline./2012/03/06/complete-spiritual-deliverance-the-enemy-you-must-deal-with/ http://christonline./ |
By Babatope Babalobi The life of the famed King Solomon is a paradox. He poured his love on God early in his life, but later on devoted his heart to worshipping idols. He was on talking terms with God early in his life, but he spent his adulthood in conversations with Satan God specifically promised Solomon that he would die at a good old age, but Solomon died at the age of about 60, which by all standards is premature. His kingdom was fully established in his hands when he ascended the throne, unfortunately the twilight of his reign was characterized by intense opposition which eventually led to the balkanization of his kingdom. But the greatest tragedy of Solomon is that though he was divinely impacted with wisdom becoming the wisest man that ever lived, this wisdom turned into foolishness as he forsook God and served idols. The concluding part of Solomon’s life was a story of avoidable sin resulting from compulsive sexual indulgence, crass materialism, unbridled idolatry, and intense hatred. By Babatope Babalobi Matthew 15:19: “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander” The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jer 17:9). The heart is restless and works throughout our life, whether when we are awake or sleeping. When the heart is not pumping blood through the arteries and veins for our life sustenance, it is processing information and data. Our heart is our life. Death occurs simply when our heart stops working, and it is common to hear about Heart failures as being the primary cause of a person’s death. As long as your heart is working, you are alive, when it stops working, you are worst that a living ant The Heart is the engine room of the soul. It is the seat of all thoughts and emotions. Your heart can be any mood or can be in any state. It can be heavy, meek, good, evil, troubled, tender, feeble, pure, upright, honest, wicked, grieved, forthright, sorrowful, joyful, merry, proud, hardened, deceitful, foolish, or wise. How best can we describe your heart? Which of the adjectives above can best describe your heart? Luke 6:45: “The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks” Our hearts will either take us to heaven or hell. Genesis 6:5: “ And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” Whether you are going to make heaven or hell depends on what goes on in your heart and what actions you eventually take based on that. The Heart is our conscience. Every evil thought and imagination starts from the heart. Name it…… murder, assassinations, violence, sexual orgies, wickedness and many more of such. It normally starts when the enemy drops an evil idea in our hearts. And unless we reject this immediately, we start to process this and magnify it. The Heart knows good and evil and can distinguished between the two. No one can be deceived into committing evil by his heart. When you are committing a good act, you heart is there approving you, and when your are about to commit an evil act, your heart will also disapprove of it, but in most cases because of our stubbornness, we ignore the counsel of our heart. The heart is the seat of deep secrets but all the secrets of a man’s heart are open and known to God. By Babatope Babalobi Genesis 1 vs. 28 - Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” NKJV God gave men five commandment after He created Man in His own image at the Garden of Eden. The commandments are: Be fruitful Multiply Fill the earth Subdue it Have dominion. How are trying to manifest these divine instructions. Are you fruitful? Are you multiplying? Are you filling the earth? To what extent have you subdue the earth? Do you have dominion over your situations? Let us deeply examine these five instructions to have a deeper understanding of their meaning and how we can fulfil them. 1. Be fruitful: Fruitfulness means being productive. Fruitfulness means doing some thing profitable. Fruitfulness means being a blessing to yourself, your family and to others. Examine your life pattern today. Are you a fruitful wife or husband? Is your marriage fruitful? Is your ministry winning souls to the kingdom? Is your business expanding and profitable? Any contrary situation is not from God. Genesis 11 vs. 30 - But Sarai was barren; she had no child. The agenda of the enemy is to ensure there is a ‘But’ in the life of every Christian. It is common to find a Christian facing a stubborn long standing problem. There is a particular, specific problem that is always tied to the life of each Christian. The challenge is to overcome the problem and have a complete life of victory. A Christian family may be prosperous and have enough money to afford comfort of life ‘but’ they may not have a happy home because either partner is cheating. A Christian family may be prosperous and happy and love themselves intensely ‘but’ they may be childless or child bearing may cease after one child. A young single Christian may have a good job ‘but’ find it difficult to get a marriage partner. Two young Christians may be ready for marriage ‘but’ both of them may be jobless. A Christian family may have a happy marriage with male and female children ‘but’ their income may be poor forcing them to live in perpetual poverty. Your case may be different from the above, but I am persuaded there is a ‘but’ in your life. Babatope Babalobi Listen to the audio sermon of this message here John 8:1-11 King James Version (KJV) 1Jesus went unto the Mount of Olives. 2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more This message is not be flesh. Not by my own understanding, wisdom, knowledge or comprehension of the Bible. I want to thank the Spirit of God for revealing this message to me in a dream to teach his people. I give him all the glory and pray that the power of God shall follow hearer and reader of his message in Jesus name. There are several lessons we can learn from this famous scripture. 1. God is love. God loves sinners. He is the lover of sinners. The greatest mistake the scribes and Pharisees was to have brought the adulterous woman to the presence of her creator. The people were seeing sin in her but God was seeing his image in her. You might not have been loved in life. Maybe you have experienced or experiencing hatred and enmity in the hands of your parents, husbands, teachers and bosses. Maybe you think no body loves in life, the good news is that Jesus loves you. Just come unto him and receive his love. Read the rest of the article @ http://christonline./2012/01/29/understadning-the-grace-plan-of-god/ http://christonline.info |
By Babatope Babalobi It is a new year, a new month, a new week and a New day. Welcome to the year 2012. One common expressions in a new year is the greetings ‘Happy new year’. I guess several people most have said that greetings to you this new year and you have also said the greeting to many people in like manner. The greeting- ‘Happy new year’ implies that each new year should bring about happiness, positive changes, restoration and progress. How could you ensure that you have a happy new year as many people have wished? And Happy New year to you all . The fact that many people have wished you a happy new year does not in any way imply that this year will be automatically be a happy year. Many people were wished a happy new year last year but experienced various forms of afflictions before the end of the year. But it is my prayer that Satan shall not steal your joy this year in Jesus name. Let us study Revelation 22 vs. 13:- “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last” Read more @ http://christonline./2012/01/24/jesus-as-the-alpha-and-omega/ http://christonline./ |
By Babatope Babalobi Revelation 3 vs. 20: Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. There is someone knocking at the door of your heart. The person has been patiently knocking the door since you were born and come of age to know what is good or bad and right and wrong. The person goes around knocking the doors to the heart of all people from all nations and races, the person does not force his way into anyone’s heart, and He patiently waits until the person opens his heart from him to enter. Even if the person refuses to open his heart, the person does not go away in anger, he stands there still knocking the door, hoping your will open the door before you die and face judgement. Evangelist Godwin <deeperlife2003@yahoo.com> Peter (one of the disciples of Jesus Christ) was sleeping between two soldiers when sure death was awaiting him on the morrow. This is the mark of God’s children. They can sleep with danger hanging over them. They are not troubled. The peace of God is in their heart and they rest in the full confidence in God’s loving care. Today we are taught to fear many things from our childhood. There are lurking reptiles and many other things. Satan makes use of this fear. The vital Christian life which develops in us childlike confidence in God is a great blessing. It is a mark of spiritual maturity. Jesus was once surprised at the fear-complex in His disciples. But now Peter was sleeping soundly on the eve of his execution as a child sleeps in the arms of its mother. When we have a heart free from sin and hold fast the attitude of keeping from sin either accidentally or deliberately, we will grow into this confidence. Fear is not of God. Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." There is something wrong in the fearful. It shows a sense of guilt. If you do not develop faith, you can offer no excuse to God. You cannot say that fear is instinctive. Many instincts will be brought under the control of the Spirit. You will reach a stage when you cannot keep hatred and anger in your heart. Your heart and mind and body will be sanctified. Whoremongers and the fearful people seem to be classified together by God. This is a tormenting fear that is not of faith. You must venture out to do God’s will. The value of you life will be increasing with your growing confidence in God. Your prayer must become more and more intense. You must not be satisfied with the small faith you now have. You must grow into full confidence in the Lord. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding." This is the stage Peter reached. If you neglect your opportunities for prayer, you cannot suddenly find this trust in God. Unless you make use of your opportunities to grow, you cannot have faith in times of trouble. The devil wants to shake us and expose our fear to all people. He wants to make our shallowness visible to all. Prayer works in you a great thing. It unifies your personality and unites you with the Trinity. What are your greatest fears? What are the things that bring daily fear and trouble? Is it fear of death, fear of loss of job, fear of demonic attacks, fear of sudden sickness, fear of accident, and so on? No matter what, Jesus Christ said “fear not.” Put your trust in God and He will walk you through the storming sea of life without fear. Blessed are your eyes for reading this message. Please, don’t let this message die read it again and pass it to others. http://christonline.info/blog |

By Babatope Babalobi Nigeria’s Minister of Water Resources, Mrs. Sarah Reng Ochepe, have called for ‘strategic partnership’ among all stakeholders for the development of Nigeria’s water sector, even as she restated Governments’ belief that access to safe, drinking water is a right of every Nigerian. Inadequate access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation is a major challenge in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country. The West African country is off track in meeting its Millennium Development Goals of 75% coverage for safe drinking water and 63% coverage for basic sanitation by the year 2015. Lamenting the failure of past initiatives to deliver the promises of improved access to water supply and sanitation, Mrs. Sarah Ochepe called on all stakeholders in the sector to tackle this challenge by working together. The Minister spoke at the Annual Partners Roundtable (APRT) of the WaterAid in Nigeria in Abuja, yesterday. “It is a thing of great regret that we are not doing too well, today only 58% of Nigerians have access to safe and clean water, what that means is that over 50m Nigerians do not have access to clean water to drink. Only 32% have access to proper sanitation, what that means is that about 70m Nigerians do not have access to proper sanitation. This are very disturbing figures”, said Ochepe, represented in the event by Ambassador Godknows Igali, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Water Resources. Pastor E.A Adeboye Memorize: and the angel answered and said unto the women, fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus which was crucified” (Matt.28:5) In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn to ward the first day of the week Mary Magdalene end the other Mary to see the sepulcher” (Mathew 28:1). Over the ages, women have prove to be great assets in the Kingdom if God. After the death and burial of Jesus, most male disciples went into hiding, whereas the female disciples were out at His grave side to show that they still love Him even after death.
