Mrchippychappy:
Ignore that comment, there are so many of them here hiding behind southern Nigerian names.

They go around changing their usernames to south south, middle belt and igbo names and then use these fake usernames to make pro-terrorist / anti-american posts so that it seems all Nigerians are united against the intervention of the United States. Watch out for these wolves in sheep clothing and how they use the little known Islamic Taqiya doctrine to manipulate the narrative

People who had the opportunity to leave Nigeria and obtained citizenship elsewhere don’t know what God has done for them. Nigeria is a country to get out of. Recent developments have shown me that this country will continue to sink. People prefer the country to go to hell so far their kinsman is the president. These same people are not benefiting anything from the government but they don’t care. Tufia!
This whole situation would reveal a lot about the true nature of Nigerians. We are our own worse enemies. Imagine some people here showing their support for Terrorists

Are you aware that Nigeria is home to some of the largest rare earth mineral reserves on Earth?

Are you aware that China and Russia have hundreds of billions of dollars of present and planned investments in Nigeria?

See him calling 'Nigeria' as if he's calling Malawi.

Ignorant people.
Are you aware that over 200,00 Christians have been killed in the middle belt / north central?
Are you aware of the Christian genocide in Nigeria?
Are you aware of the terrorists that have been recruited into the armed forces by the Federal government of Nigeria?

When I read the essay I quoted in part, I wept!

I still maintain that tinubu is happy with this Trump intervention.

We know very well how he hates the north with their religious extremism and born to rule mentality, but politics of self preservation is the reason why he can't call a spade a spade.

And to even think these northern chaps tried to take him out few weeks ago... hahaha 😃

Nigeria is a sovereign nation, we are capable of taking care of our problems
Glad you took the time to read it. Have you Islamic terrorist brothers read my epistle also? Please share to them so they can read it as well. It is important that you convey this message to them. If there's one thing you need to take away from this epistle, it is this - An Intervention is coming to Nigeria and nothing can stop it.

America gives military aids to Nigeria but no commensurate result. Soldiers are not motivated because only the topmost officers enjoy the largese.

KingOfAmebo:
It is even laughable for you to think the shutdown is not affecting the US economy, they have a controlled media and feed the population what they want then to know to avoid panic.

Do a simple search and see how the shutdown is affecting the running of government, as in, do you even expect a Government to function properly when it is SHUTDOWN?

It common sense to understand that the strength and weakness of the USD determine the strength and weakness of other currencies including the NAIRA...a 5 year old knows this.
I am still not sure what your argument is here, should the ENTIRE world report about the American government shutdown instead of their own local news? This attempt to try to score some cheap points against the Trump administration is not working. I am not sure what the end goal is here (or if there's even one to begin with). Take some time out to gather your thoughts properly and then recreate this topic. This particular one is dead on arrival.

Lots of fake posters calling for the division of Nigeria as a way to distract from what Trump is actually coming to Nigeria to do. Be very careful of the wolves in sheep clothing.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Did You Know The American Government Have Been Shutdown For 38 Days Now? by Mrchippychappy(m): 2:02pm On Nov 07, 2025
KingOfAmebo:
You are deeply ignorant, as long as you peg your currency (The Naira) to the USD, every news about America should matter to you...do you know the effect of this shutdown have delayed the NON FARM PAYROLL release for 2 months now? Do you know that anything that affects the USD also affects the NAIRA...How this is not a major news to you shows how deeply out of touch with reality you are.
So because we peg the naira to the USD, the entire news in Nigeria should be about the US government shutdown? By that logic, the entire news across the world should be about the US shutdown, right? Seeing as about 80% of the other currencies in the world is pegged to the greenback, I mean why not? Let the entire world forget about their own local issues and only report about the US government shutdown, right?

Respectfully bro, that's not how the media works.

Now it suddenly isn't a top news, but you said the news is everywhere...are this confused in life?
It is all over the news in the country where this is relevant to. FYI Mexico shares a border with the USA and the US shutdown isn't even the top news there, same goes for Canada, they share a border with the United States and this isn't the top news there. How anyone would expect the American shutdown to be the top news in the Nigerian media space is beyond me. I repeat, We really need to declare a state of emergency on education in Nigeria, something has gone terribly wrong.
