God1000: Though DRC is not listed in this article but the Democratic Republic of Congo is considered to be one of the richest countries in the world regarding natural resources; its untapped deposits of raw minerals are estimated to be worth in excess of U.S. $24 trillion.
Cobalt: DRC Controls 70% of global reserves, making it the world's largest producer.
Coltan (Columbite-Tantalite): Holds 70% of the world's reserves, essential for electronics manufacturing
The rare mineral is used to manufacture electric car batteries, mobile phones and other electronic devices
As for Nigeria, Nigeria's solid minerals wealth is valued at $750bn, according to Alake. Minister of Solid Minerals Development
They won't list any Africa country because they don't want you to have an idea what you're worth
Forget the population , A LGA in the north is bigger than Lagos State ...there are many LGA in the north bigger than Lagos State .
My state , Taraba state , is bigger than the whole of southwest ...I don't want to mention Niger state and Borno state because those ones are bigger than countries like Ghana , Togo .
Those states has no population. The only populated areas in northern states are Sabon gari. I've been to all mothern states. I've moved to the villages and you hardly see the population they're talking about. Big lands without people. Kano State, Kaduna and Niger State has good numbers. The rest are noise! Audio
jimi4us: What is needed in the market right now is something like Piggyvest. They need competition so badly not another payment app like Opay and moniepoint
Opay is giving them a run for their money. Just that you can withdraw anytime without penalty
AdesegunSanni89: And there’s no law that stops the president from suspending a Governor. The president has the sole discretion to suspend or otherwise under state of emergency. As for Falz and the nonsense he wrote up there, two pipeline bombings are already acts of economic ‘war’.
The sharp decline in used vehicle imports shows how tough things have become for Nigerians. High import duties and taxes are making car ownership nearly impossible for many. While the 90-day duty regularization is a step forward, the additional 25% penalty is a burden. The government should focus on reducing excessive import costs, encouraging local assembly, and making vehicles more affordable instead of making life harder for citizens.
The Chairman of the senate committee on ethics Neda Imasuen has come under fire and strong criticism over the bad state of the road that leads to his house.
Meanwhile, Mr Imasuen, as chairperson of the Senate ethics committee, he was involved in the recent suspension of the Kogi Central senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who accused the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of sexual harassment.
After receiving a report from the Mr Imasuen-led committee, the Senate presided over by Mr Akpabio, suspended Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months over alleged misconduct and refusal to comply with the chambers’ sitting arrangement during the plenary session on 20 February.
Mr Akpabio referred the senator’s sexual harassment petition to the Senate ethics committee. The chairperson of the committee, Mr Imasuen, ruled that the petition was “dead on arrival” and would not be entertained by the Senate.
Therefore, netizens called on him to urgently fix the road in fulfilling promises made to the electorates.
That man don too Tae for there ohhh. Abi I dey mistake am for another one
CodeTemplar: i call him the able Alhaji. Maybe the govt should give him his own oil well so he can extract crude and take to his refinery directly. That wil save us all from the middlemen seeking rent on every barrel.
TenQ: 1. Four Solar Panels each @300W minimum 2. Two 12V @220AH Tubular Batteries (because you can maintain it when the electrolyte level is going low) Please before use, make your you guage the acid level using the relative density) suppliers may give you dilute acid to cut cost. 3. MPPT Charge Controller of minimum rating of 80V (Not use Pwm charge controller, the efficiency is terrible and it will ultimately destroy your battery) 4. Inverter (Sine Wave) of at least 2500W (Much higher is better)
For your Freezer, you can use the recommendation above only that You will switch ON your Freezer at about 9am and put it OFF at about 4pm daily (if there is no electricity)
Please total cost for this. And cost without panels ( I won't run my fridge with it)
TenQ: 1. Too bad, you bought a TOY 2. Sellers of Inverters will sweet talk you into bad purchases Let me break it down for you 1. Your One Panel 18V 30W: Means that if the efficiency is 100%, as long as the sun is up, the maximum load it can carry is 30W between 9am and 5pm (8 Hours) If there is no NEPA (Mains Electricity), it means you can use 60W of power for 4 Hours OR 120W for 2 Hours 2. Your battery capacity of12V 12AH Lead-acid battery Mean that at full capacity, it can store at 100% efficiency 144W of Energy it means that at best you can use up to 144W of Energy for 1 Hour OR 72W of Energy for 2Hours 3. Your Inverter of 220V 150W. Mean that at 100% Efficiency, you cannot plug loads up to 150W without blowing up the inverter. This is the maximum power you can draw from it if your battery capacity will allow it.
Now, you are driving it with a load of 95W OX fan Laptop at 65W
Let me shock you that the efficiencies of solar panel that is properly optimised is less that 50% from the rating Your Battery can have 80% Efficiency only when brand new, as you use it (especially when overloading it) the efficiency can drop to 40%
So, don't use your inverter for your fan or laptop, restrict it to giving you lights at night. Don't even bother augmenting with extra panels or batteries because it will still waste your money
Recommendation: Even though costly 1. Two Deep cycle Batteries of at least 200AH capacity 2. Three to Four Solar panels 3. Charge controllers rated for the four panels with a power not less that 1200W 4. Inverter (Sine Wave) of at least 1500W (Much higher is better) Less is a waste of investment
My Small Advice!
I want to install solar in my house (3 bedrooms) what's your advice. Maybe one deep freezer, 3 standing fan and a tv
