The Presidency has criticized television host, Rufai Oseni, following a heated exchange between him and his colleague, Reuben Abati, during Thursday’s edition of Arise TV’s Morning Show.

DAILY POST reports that the clash erupted after Rufai referred to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Senator Sandy Onor, as “Gbewudani”.

Rufai was reacting to a trending video of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, in which he claimed that he would secure the FCT and Rivers State for President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2027 presidential election.

The journalist questioned why the minister, who remains a national leader of the PDP, would openly support an APC presidential candidate instead of the party’s flagbearer.

According to him, the PDP candidate must be a Gbewudani, which he explained to mean, “hold my shirt”, for keeping quiet while the leader of his party is campaigning for another candidate.

Displeased with the ‘Gbewudani’ comment, Abati cautioned Rufai against making remarks that would attract lawsuits.

“Rufai, be careful, you’ll bring lawsuits on this station that the station will never be able to pay.

“Only you have maliciously impugned the integrity of the PDP candidate. You have also created an innuendo to tarnish the image of Sarafadeen Alli. Be careful,” Abati said.

Rufai, however, responded by saying, “It’s only when I disagree with your views that you start shouting lawsuits.”

Reacting to the exchange, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, slammed Rufai, stating that the TV host is a narcissistic OAP masquerading as a journalist.

In a post on his official X handle, Bwala said: “That’s what you get when you recruit a narcissistic OAP masquerading as a journalist.

“There is no day he does not defame people’s character. But when you say one thing about him, he will tweet 24 times in a day against you.”

I'm done with all those church, spirit and stuff. I'm certain God does not belong to any religion. Human beings created religions for personal reasons. For me, life is now about getting results in whatever I do, hence the reason I have abandoned all these religious stuff. But TRUE CHRISTIANITY which teaches honesty, love, discipline and honour really shaped me.

I was born into a christian home with strong christian values. But na for church dem throw my Mum arrow, same church my Mum pays TITHE AND OFFERING, they gave her just 5k when she fell terribly sick and hospitalised. My Dad died praying and fasting against demonic powers that have held down the family and made us struggle.

We are four children and all of us have put christianity one side, IT DIDN'T HELP OUR PARENTS, traditional methods are now solving our problems gradually.
I let my wife understand why we have to adopt traditional methods to solve our problems and she advised that we should not abandon christianity completely, that attending church will make us socialise and create a business network. Other than that, the church owners and Pastors are just there making money off the worshippers.

The church is under severe attack bro. There are many churches today whose leaders are actually wolfs. Very wicked wolfs like the one David Hundeyin was in.

What we see today around us called church is not how Jesus wanted it to be or how the first century Christians were.

The devil has divided us with different demonic doctrines and has turned churches to fraternity club.

But that does not mean we throw away our belief in God, Jesus and the bible.

God is a spirit and those worshipping him must worship in spirit and truth, not in catholic only , or winners only, or in christ embassy only or in Jehovah witness only. This are demonic lies from the devil to make you hate serving God.

We are to worship God in spirit and truth.

God is more concerned about your way of life and your heart than on which building you enter to worship.

Be a diligent student of the bible and continue to live your life in the pattern set before you by your lord and savior Jesus Christ.
