Always mentioning MaxInDHouse.
I'm really glad to know that the number of my fans has increased by one!😀
You shouldn't be glad. You should be sad that some of your members died for nothing. 😂😂

American men in Warwick told them transfusing their own blood was against God's law, but God later changed his mind and told the American men to tell you it's okay to transfuse your own blood.

Congratulations ooooo.

For obvious reasons that OP conveniently forgot to inform you that this has been the stand of JW's since the late 1970's/1980s.
On this matter, there is no so called "policy shift" or "doctrinal adjustments" reported in the mainstream media outlets.

Anything JW's dey pain that man.
You have now been permitted by American men in Warwick to store and transfuse your own blood. Congratulations.

If not for the permission, JW pple go dey kpai like fowl. 🐓

Good that they are waking up now
They are not "waking up" to anything.

The leaders of Watchtower are battling numerous lawsuits, the Biggest of them all being cases involving child abuse and they have lost millions of dollars.

They tried their best to hide these cases from their members, even going as far as discouraging them from acquiring a university education. (So they won't know how to develop critical thinking and research skills) But all of their efforts have failed. The Younger generation of witnesses are not as brainwashed as the older generation and many are leaving.

The doctrinal and policy changes currently occurring is nothing but damage control.
Christianity EtcRe: Former Jehovah Witness David Hundeyin Reacts To New JW Blood Doctrine by MrEar(op): 12:48pm On Mar 22
The quote below is from Jehovah witnesses watchtower magazine of October 15 2000.
It is from a segment of the magazine called QUESTIONS FROM READERS. Take a look at what the leaders told their members:

Occasionally, a doctor will urge a patient to deposit his own blood weeks before surgery (preoperative autologous blood donation, or PAD) so that if the need arises, he could transfuse the patient with his own stored blood. However, such collecting, storing, and transfusing of blood directly contradicts what is said in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Blood is not to be stored; it is to be poured out—returned to God, as it were. Granted, the Mosaic Law is not in force now. Nevertheless, Jehovah’s Witnesses respect the principles God included in it, and they are determined to ‘abstain from blood.’ Hence, we do not donate blood, nor do we store for transfusion our blood that should be ‘poured out.’ That practice conflicts with God’s law.
I know their members may come to this thread to call the above quote a lie from apostates so let me drop a link to the magazine from their Website here.

Source: https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2000767

It is very sad and disheartening that some members in the past, particularly those who anticipated needing surgery, asked their leaders whether they could store their own blood for future use, only for their request to be denied and described as a practice that contradicts God’s laws.

Former Jehovah Witness David Hundeyin Reacts To New JW Blood Doctrine

For those who aren't keeping up, this means that the entire "no blood transfusion" doctrine has been quietly gutted, because under this new doctrine, you can now receive a transfusion of lab-grown red blood cells cloned from your own red cells - since the cloned blood is still technically your own blood.

Since it is medically possible to create patient-specific, lab-generated blood for transfusions using your own blood, that means that the entire blood transfusion question for Jehovah Witnesses has now become a technical and economic one.

JWs who live in rich countries where blood
cloning facilities exist can get infinite transfusions of "their own" blood without breaking the cult's rules
, while the Aunty Esthers of Darkest Africa who have no such facilities get to die young and faithful to the end, because a white man told them to.😊

As always, any African wey no gree obtain sense, na oyibo go kill am.

Foreign AffairsIran Claims US, Israel Strike On Natanz Enrichment Facility, No Radioactive Leak by MrEar(op): 11:41am On Mar 21
The US and Israel struck the Natanz uranium enrichment facility in Iran on Saturday, Iranian media and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran claimed.

On Friday, US President Donald Trump asserted in a post to Truth Social that "we are getting very close to meeting our objectives" in the war with Iran. Among those objectives the president listed was "never allowing Iran to get even close to nuclear capability."

The AEOI, which said that no radioactive leakage was subsequently detected in the area, is the government body that runs and oversees the country’s nuclear installations. Additionally, no casualties were reported in the alleged incident.

According to the AEOI, the strike targeted the Shahid Ahmadi-Roshan Enrichment Complex in Natanz. "This is an action in violation of international law," the organization claimed.

"Technical assessments indicate that no radioactive material leakage has occurred and there is no danger to residents of the surrounding areas," the statement added.

The IDF told The Jerusalem Post that it was not aware of an Israeli strike targeting Natanz.

During its latest wave of attacks against Iranian assets in Tehran, an IDF aircraft was targeted by surface-to-air missiles. "The crew acted in accordance with operational procedures. No damage was caused to the aircraft, and the mission was completed as planned," the military added.

A previous strike against the complex was reported on March 2, during the first days of the operations against the Islamic Republic, according to Iran's ambassador to the UN nuclear watchdog.

"Again they attacked Iran's peaceful, safeguarded nuclear facilities yesterday," Reza Najafi told reporters at a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency's 35-nation board of governors.

High-resolution satellite imagery of Iran’s largest and most crucial remaining nuclear facility showed that the regime rushed to protect it from potential US or Israeli aerial attack on February 12, according to the Institute for Science and International Security.

The nuclear facility in question is a large tunnel complex at Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La, also known as Pickaxe Mountain. It is near a series of Natanz nuclear facilities that were the center of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program until the 12-day war between Israel and Iran last June.

Most of the other numerous Natanz facilities, including existing centrifuges at the time, were destroyed during that conflict. For reasons that have not been fully explained, this facility was not struck.

Foreign AffairsRe: Oman Claims Israel Pushed US Into Iran War When Deal Was Possible by MrEar(op): 6:52pm On Mar 20
The American administration’s greatest miscalculation, of course, was allowing itself to be drawn into this war in the first place, This is not America’s war, and there is no likely scenario in which both Israel and America will get what they want from it. Oman’s view is that the military attacks against Iran by the United States and Israel are illegal and that for as long as they continue to pursue hostilities, those states that launched this war are in breach of international law"
Excellent analysis Mr Badr Albusaidi but unfortunately, some people (e.g Nairaland Geopolitics Professors) wont believe or listen to you because in their worldview, anyone that agrees with the above statement must be a terrorist sympathizer.

Hatred and pride is not allowing them to see that the US / Israeli attack on Iran makes them the real terrorist states and anyone supporting their unprovoked attack is a terrorist sympatizer.

Foreign AffairsOman Claims Israel Pushed US Into Iran War When Deal Was Possible by MrEar(op): 6:51pm On Mar 20
Oman’s foreign minister has claimed the US has “lost control of its own foreign policy” and accused Israel of persuading Donald Trump’s administration to go to war with Iran – a conflict he described as a “catastrophe” and a “grave miscalculation”.

Writing in the Economist, Badr Albusaidi, the Omani minister who mediated the latest nuclear talks between Iran and the US, offered an unusually damning assessment of events leading up to the US and Israel’s bombing of Iran and the war it has triggered across the Middle East.

It was a shock but not a surprise when on 28 February – just a few hours after the latest and most substantive talks – Israel and America again launched an unlawful military strike against the peace that had briefly appeared really possible,” Albusaidi wrote.

Of all the Gulf countries, Oman was the most vocal and publicly proactive in trying to halt a US attack on Iran, although other states – including the UAE and Qatar – also worked hard to find diplomatic solutions and warned Trump that a war would be devastating for the region.

According to Albusaidi, Iran and the US had been on the “verge of a real deal” in nuclear negotiations held in Geneva in February, describing the talks as “substantive”.

As revealed by the Guardian this week, a similar assessment had been made by the UK’s national security adviser, Jonathan Powell, who attended the final stages of the nuclear talks. According to sources, he had been surprised at the significant progress towards a permanent, substantive nuclear deal and judged that it was enough to halt a war between the two sides.

The US negotiating team consisted of Trump’s special envoy, the real estate developer Steve Witkoff, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. They reportedly brought no experts with them.

Sources said the Iranians had agreed to highly significant concessions including a reduction and pause on their enrichment of uranium and also offered the US the chance to participate in a future civil nuclear programme, in exchange for a lifting of sanctions and unfreezing of assets.

A final phase of negotiations had been planned for the following week in Vienna, but 48 hours after the talks finished, the US and Israel began their strikes on Iran.

Albusaidi blamed “Israel’s leadership” for persuading Trump to join the war on the false basis that Iran’s regime would offer an “unconditional surrender” after the assassination of its supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

The American administration’s greatest miscalculation, of course, was allowing itself to be drawn into this war in the first place,” he wrote. “This is not America’s war, and there is no likely scenario in which both Israel and America will get what they want from it.

Late on Thursday, Netanyahu denied he had dragged the US into the conflict, telling reporters: “Does anyone really think that someone can tell President Trump what to do?”

Albusaidi described the war, and its wider impact on the Gulf region which has borne the brunt of Iran’s retaliation, as a “catastrophe”, with neither side showing any willingness to negotiate.

He called for an end to the conflict and a return to bilateral negotiations, arguing: “For Israel to achieve its stated objective will require a long military campaign to which America would have to commit troops on the ground, opening a new front in the forever wars which President Donald Trump previously vowed to end.”

As the war in the Middle East has dragged on with no clear end in sight, Oman has stood out from other Gulf states in its increasing willingness to condemn and criticise the US, the closest and most important ally for the Gulf countries, accusing it of being a proxy for Israeli interests in the region.

In comments to reporters last Thursday, Albusaidi said the US was intent on causing irreversible damage to international law and helping Israel re-order the Middle East to its own benefit.

Oman’s view is that the military attacks against Iran by the United States and Israel are illegal and that for as long as they continue to pursue hostilities, those states that launched this war are in breach of international law,” he said.

Russia has proposed to stop sharing intel with Iran if the United States ceased supplying Ukraine with intelligent information about the Kremlin.

The proposal was said to have been made by Russian envoy, Kirill Dmitriev to Trump’s administration envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during their meeting last week in Miami.

It was, however, gathered that the US rejected the proposal.

Meanwhile, the existence of the proposal has triggered concern among European diplomats, who worry that Moscow is trying to drive a wedge between Europe and the US at a critical moment for transatlantic relations.
Recall that President Donald Trump of the United States has voiced anger over the refusal of allies to send warships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The President on Friday, described his NATO allies as cowards, saying they would remember.

While the White House is yet to comment on the matter, the Russian Embassy in Washington also has not made any comment on the development.

NLC, all bark but no bite.

Completely toothless.

PoliticsGrid Collapse: NLC Threatens Showdown Over Electricity Crisis by MrEar(op): 11:33am On Feb 17
The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has threatened a nationwide industrial showdown over the persistent collapse of Nigeria’s electricity grid, declaring that a decade of power sector privatisation has delivered “darkness, exploitation and economic pain” to citizens.

Speaking at the National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, Annual Conference of Women and Youth in Abuja, the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, issued what he described as a “final warning” to authorities and power sector operators, insisting that organised labour would resist any further tariff increases or policies that deepen hardship without improving supply.

He lamented that over 10 years after the unbundling and sale of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, successor companies, electricity generation remains stagnant at between 4,000 and 5,000 megawatts — virtually the same level recorded before privatisation, despite Nigeria’s growing population and industrial demands.

While saying this remains shameful and demonstrates how stagnated Nigeria has become, and issuing a scorching indictment of the current power sector regime, Ajaero called for an immediate and comprehensive review of the entire sector.

According to him: “We once again sound the alarm on the deplorable state of the nation’s electricity sector. We declare that the failed privatisation experiment has plunged Nigerian workers, women, youth, and industries into deeper energy poverty as the national grid continues to collapse while DISCOs persistently reject loads from the Transmission Company, TCN.

“Instead of progress, we witness regression. Instead of light, we have darkness. The national grid collapses with the frequency of a faulty generator, sometimes plunging the entire nation into blackout. This is not the ‘turnaround’ we were promised; this is a well-orchestrated robbery of the Nigerian people.

“NLC once again maintains that the power sector privatisation was a grand deception. The exercise was a fraudulent transfer of public wealth into the hands of a few speculators who lack both the technical expertise and the financial backbone to manage the nation’s electricity assets.

“The so-called investors did not buy these companies with their own money. No foreign exchange was brought in, though the companies were touted to have come from outside our shores. They borrowed heavily from Nigerian banks, draining domestic credit and contributing to the depreciation of our naira. They acquired the DISCOs and GENCOs on a shoestring budget and now expect Nigerian workers to pay for their loans through outrageous electricity tariffs.”

Ajaero condemned the band classification (A, B, C) as a capitalist tool designed to further impoverish the masses.

This is why I hate politics and politicians.

If El-Rufai decamps to the APC tomorrow, all cases involving him will disappear. Not a single reporter from any news media outlet will ask what happened, and to make things worse, some Nigerians will even cheer and congratulate El-Rufai.

Well, for now, Tinubu’s strategy is working: while I will be busy campaining and moving towards victory my fierce opponents should be busy appearing in court.

Smart man.

PoliticsEl-rufai: Tapping Someone’s Phone Criminal, Punishable By Law – Lawyer, Ogala by MrEar(op): 10:32am On Feb 17
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Babatunde Ogala, has lent his voice to the saga involving the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, allegedly tapping the phone of the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu.

Speaking during an interview on Arise Television monitored by DAILY POST on Monday, Ogala said such an act was criminal and punishable by the law.

According to him, beyond the Cybercrime Act, tapping someone’s phone may offend some sections of the Data Protection Act.

Recall that El-Rufai admitted that he and others listened to the telephone conversations of the NSA after tapping his phone, an act that has received many criticisms from various quarters, including the presidency.

Reacting, Ogala said, “First let me say in the criminal prosecution, the onus is on the prosecution to prove the case beyond reasonable doubts.

“As it were today, what we just heard is that charges have been filed. Three count charges under the Cybercrime Act. And the Nigerian Communication Act has been profiled against El-Rufai.

“I have not seen the proof of evidence to be able to determine what is contained therein, it will be safe to presume that the prosecution team would have done their homework before bringing these charges.

“This is not only because it was done to the National Security Adviser, tapping the line of a regular citizen, you have to face the law. It is worse being done to the NSA.”

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dele Momodu, has dismissed claims of being opposed to former presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Momodu stated that he has consistently supported the former Anambra State governor.

He was reacting to an X user @Blazeregent who charged him to purge himself of anti-Obi sentiments. The X user was reacting to a post in which Momodu asked a PDP chieftain, Bode George, to purge himself of anti-Atiku sentiments.

The user wrote: “Purge yourself anti-OBI first. You have no moral right to criticize matters like this. If you have the right to be perpetual anti-OBI, so is anyone else to be perpetual anti-ATIKU. Daddy wa, please go and rest.”

Reacting, Momodu said he first backed Obi when former Vice President Atiku Abubakar selected him as his running mate.

He also dismissed suggestions of any rift between Obi and Atiku, noting that both politicians have always treated each other with mutual respect, both privately and publicly.

Momodu wrote: “I can never be anti-Obi. The first time I supported Obi when Atiku picked him as running mate.

HealthBan Sachet Alcohol Completely – Pharmacists Tell FG by MrEar(op): 9:24am On Feb 17
Pharmacists, under the platform of Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), have appealed to the federal government to ban sachet alcohol completely.

ACPN noted that this was necessary to safeguard public health.

ACPN National Chairman, Pharmacist Ambrose Ezeh, made this declaration in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Monday.

Ezeh condemned the alleged decision by the Federal Government to reverse the ban on the production and retail distribution of alcoholic beverages in sachets and small-volume containers below 200ml.

He said that the directive originally issued by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) was firmly rooted in evidence-based harm-reduction principles and child-protection objectives.

According to him, “The prohibition of sachet alcohol should not be treated as a symbolic regulatory exercise”.
