There's actually not much recorded history out there about igbo history dating back 300 - 600yrs ago no doubt about that but that doesn't in any way makes igbo history or culture to be inferior to that of any tribe in nigeria. Archaeological research and artifacts found in igboland has shown the igbos are the earliest ethnic group that first arrived in nigeria they have been in igboland for over 3000 years.
