Is this what's obtainable there? Aren't public places respected? Of course Christians do preach in public places it's called freedom of speech as long as no one rights is infringed upon the authorities are okay with it. What u won't find there is hawking which is obviously because the poverty rate there is at it's minimal, let the apc govt provide jobs, reduce the poverty rate and make nigeria's economy like that of those advanced countries first before banning hawking in public places in nigeria. |

For those who sincerely understands empathy, it is not something that is done for selfish and altruistic reasons. This is not the kind of reactionary and deceptive character that should lead the country. It's alright so it's a drug trafficker and certificate forger that's supposed to be leading nigeria abi? |

For record, Atiku and Tinubu promised restructuring that is why they get substantial vote and left you candidate at distance 3rd. Tinibu is man enough and promised restructuring during his campaign but is still scared and has failed after almost four years in office to implement exactly what he promised instead he is doing fake restructuring by establishing regional commissions abi regional agencies that doesn't even have much political power or influence to do much. If tinibu is really man enough let him implement the real restructuring he promised nigerians which is the old regional govts nigeria used to know and not this fake restructuring he is doing now to pls his masters up north. |

FSBoperator: My friend, Wabara led a walkout from the red chamber when the issue of 25% derivation to oil producing states was being debated by the Senate.
Wabara will later state that the resource control bill for oil producing states getting 25% was not in favour of his people and region.
I will search the archives for the video of when he made that statement.
Prior, to 13% being granted, all SE states collected more from FAAC revenue that was based on population distribution only.
SE has progressively become worse off since Yaradua passed 13% to oil producing states.
Search annual FAAC allocations to states in the year 2000 and compare it to when Yaradua passed 13% in 2008.
The SE also sided with the north during the offshore -onshore dichotomy which was only resolved by the supreme court ruling
Without that ruling, Akwa Ibom oil and gas fields that were located offshore did not benefit the state.
But after that ruling which coincided with the tenure of Akpabio, the state began it's journey to where it is.
SE remains the greatest obstacle to Southern emancipation especially the SS. Keep deceiving urself with useless narratives igbos will never be scared of resource control why will a tribe that fought for 3 years and lost millions in a war to be on their own be scared of resource control? Only the other two major tribes that teamed up together to come to their region to fight them are definitely supposed to be the ones that are really scared of resource control. |
Politics › Re: VAT Generated By Nigeria’s States And The FCT In H1 2026 - The Cable by Mrexcell(m): 12:23pm On Jul 19 |
Richtaiwo: Oya, keep attaching yourself to SS because of oil. Even Ondo whose oil output dwarfs the entire SE is not forcefully attaching itself to SS. I don't what Akwa Ibom has in common with igbos. So u don't even know that half of ur so called south south that u can't even find in modern geography is Igbo? South south is a nigerian govt creation to politically isolate the igbos it's part of the anti igbo policy after the civil war. Many igbo speaking communities in the south south have huge oil and gas deposits but due to fear that's mixed with hate the nigerian state cut them out from their igbo brothers in the south east and told them they are not igbos which some of them accepted and still believed till date. If proper research is done u will find out that the oil and gas igboland actually produces is far more than what the nigerian state officially attributes to the region today so don't come out with that baseless and useless argument that igboland doesn't produce much oil and gas even imo state today has been officially recognised as having one of the largest gas deposits in nigeria. |

FSBoperator: You are liar.
At no time has any SE politician or group advocate for resource control and oil production in the SE is negligible when even compared to that of Ondo state.
SE only became marginally productive during GEJ tenure and this was after Yaradua had granted 13% to oil producing states.
Same resource control agitation that all SE senators staged a walkout when Obasanjo proposed 25% to oil producing states .
The only reason SE even has marginal oil production going on is due to after Yaradua passed 13% and SE politicians lobbied GEJ later on to grant drilling licence to local oil producing firms that are wholly owned by Ibo politicians/business men
At no time has SE ever fought for resource control .
Even your Obi swore to a gathering of northern elders in Arewa House , Kaduna that he will maintain the status quo if elected and not allow for resource control.
Who do you guys think you are googling with your lame lies? That's false igbos will always support resource control because they also have their own God given natural and human resources the only people who are ready to go to war to stop it are the north and sw stop the false narratives and propaganda here. |
Politics › Re: VAT Generated By Nigeria’s States And The FCT In H1 2026 - The Cable by Mrexcell(m): 10:49am On Jul 19 |
Richtaiwo: You did not plant oil with your so-called handwork and can't lay claim to any natural resources. Natural resources occur naturally, not any man made efforts. The 13 percent derivation is for environmental degradation. Even states with huge deposit don't call north parasites. It is states with 3 liters that won't just keep shut.
Besides, nobody is talking about oil deposit, VAT is man made, so don't attempt shifting it to oil because Rivers that came second in that ranking has oil deposit by far more than these states you are parroting about. You must be really delusional if u think u can separate the two, other oil producing countries use their oil proceeds to develop economic activities that later generate huge vats for them. The niger delta militancy that started kidnappings in nigeria during yaradua's govt was caused by neglect of their region and insignificant oil allocations, claiming that those indigenous people where oil production is carried out has no rights to claim the oil is quite very laughable and can't win such arguments in any international stage. We all know the core north won't even agree to share to other states in nigeria without any resources if this huge oil and gas deposits in the niger delta was found in the core north. |

Simply say South East, then tell us how the North is leaching on your South East resources. So u are not even aware that states in the 9 niger delta states that includes imo and abia states have been fighting for resource control? So u think they are all happy collecting only 13% of their God given resources while the rest 87% is used to develop other states without any natural resources? |

All these useless stories of civil war, govt policies yen yen yen are inconsequential. What were they thinking when they were calling the North parasites? Who are the igbos that are calling the north parasites? The north should agree to resource control so that no one will see them as leeching on the natural resources of the south for survival. |

Richtaiwo: I've noticed that the use of the word "parasites" to describe some states and regions has diminished remarkably. Could it be because figures are not cooperating with that narrative? Statistics have an inconvenient habit of exposing lies. You don't need to work urself so much on this vat stats it still doesn't takes away anything from the average igbo man who is well known world wide for industry and entrepreneurial exploits, the entire south east region was completely devastated by war 56yrs ago and has suffered from deliberate federal policies to keep it politically and economically down since then it will only be amnesia or foolishness for anyone to be using any region in nigeria to compare the south east. |

How do some of you, grown adults, cannot accept this simple fact to understand the Presidency is not Obi's level?
Who are his powerful loyalists and mentees he built who will ensure powerful political enemies of Nigeria's progress don't render his Presidency impotent and hopeless?
I just can't understand whey some of you have no capacity for working with facts and reality as others can do around the world.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1L5JEDMhNN/ All i see is just the usual tribal hate on obi and nothing really significant against Obi's qualities to lead nigeria. You can't tell me that the same Obi that gallantly fought and won against anambra's notorious kidnappers and political mafias that almost captured anambra state for themselves like we are currently seeing happening in lagos don't have the courage to lead nigeria. You guys claim to be more politically knowledgeable and more educated yet still glorify someone who is doing nothing but criminal total state capture where then is the education? You don't rate obi because he left anambra decently and didn't turn the whole anambra to his personal family business where he will be solely appointing who will be governor and who will be getting major contracts, it's obvious you guys are not even that civilised to know what good governance is all about. |
Politics › Re: Isaac Fayose Reaffirms Support For Peter Obi After Viral Backlash by Mrexcell(m): 10:02am On Jul 18 |
TopBanter: Indeed. Who and what can Obi lead? Who respects him across the leadership chain?
I laugh at how some Nigerians gullibly believe a man will become President and then wave some magic wand to get his ways.
The Nigerian Presidency, for the sake of improving Nigeria, is for a strong and well-supported man with loyalist across the entire Nigeria so he will always get the backing to delivers changes and reforms that will be resisted by demonic and powerful enemies of progress literally.
That is never Obi's level Who flees at the appearance of even the slightest challenge and has built nothing and no one that can be his firewall. If someone like tinibu and buhari with all their shortcomings and controversies can become nigeria's president a Peter Obi with no controversies is more than qualified to become president, you must not be a notorious mafia or a terrorist before you qualify to become nigeria's president. |
