Hello experts in the house I have a close friend that has k leg problem he is a fully grown man in his forties the k leg is not too curved in, it does allows him to walk but not freely as he wanted he says the legs do gives him pains and makes him lacks confidence on himself and disoriented sometimes so he is considering doing a surgery either here in nigeria or abroad. I want to know from experts in the house if it's going to be possible and won't lead to complications later considering his age?

Akpabio is the Senate president. He is not answerable to the president or the judiciary.
He is only answerable to the house. If the house finds him worthy, he has no case to answer.
If the Senate becomes reasonable enough, they would ask him to step down as Senate president so he can defend himself as a floor member of the house and not as the Senate president.
The implication is that if he is found guilty, there won't be another proceedings to impeach him. He looses his Senate president position and risks suspension and expulsion from the Senate like Patricia etteh of the house of reps.

As long as there is no ambitious senator to demand that he step down for investigation, he remains untouchable. Not even the president can do anything about it unless the president want to risk being impeached by Akpabio controlled National assembly.
