When you hear of APC wanting to ‘take over’ the south-east, it’s not because of any noble intentions or because they feel they’re engaging with a people or region they see as equals! APC is presently a conglomeration and gathering (wouldn’t even attempt to call that coven a political party) of the most greedy, rabid, bigoted and xenophobic Igbo-haters ever, and the principal partners are the Buhari/Tinubu hegemonic alliance!

Their designs on the south-east are primarily driven by a feeling of a ‘conquerer’ wanting to show a people they are ‘2nd class citizens’, ‘conquered’ and do not have the same status in society as their ‘conquerors’….kinda like having a pharaohic or napoleonic complex! In this, they are actually aided and abetted by greedy, power-hungry Igbos’ with a house-nigger complex or who have a severe case of stockholm syndrome, and these are typified by the likes of Umahi and Uzodinma! Those two and their ilk are prepared to say anything or throw their own people under the bus in an instant just to try and please their Yoruba/Fulani hegemonic masters!

The APCs control of the centre and all the mechanisms for rigging elections was what helped Umahi (a character enslaved by his own lust for power and who i’ve grown to dislike in recent times) foist a dull and visionless character on Ebonyians as governor even when there were better options! And this same rigging also helped Uzodinma steal a second term!

The APC designs on the south-east mirrors the wider designs the hegemonic Nigerian state has had on the region, from the late 60s to date, owing to the high incidence of oil and gas deposits in Alaigbo (note i said Alaigbo and not south-east), and this is why they ensured they facilitated the judicial abracadabra and hocus-pocus that saw the supreme court governor being rigged in as governor in Imo state!

Very correct analysis any nigerian with half a brain who have been closely following political events in nigeria since the formation of the apc can easily attest to all these facts u enumerated above. Apc anti igbo policies was a clear continuation of the biafran war which am sure was masterminded by well known igbo haters like buhari and tinibu.
