Dogalmighty17: Those drones are the key to putting this Fulani scourge in check. Two will certainly not be enough. I also have the same thought too until I carefully read the capabilities of each drone having a coverage of 100kms is quite very impressive i think two is enough to cover the whole enugu state. |

Brendaniel: Looks like Trump is looking for a regime change, exactly what is really needed right now in Nigeria, for those who are talking about U.S coming to take oil from Venezuela, I'm not ruling that out, but I don't think that's the interest here, ask yourself a country with the largest oil reserves in the world is so poor and also if the oil was so profitable for them, why are the youths more into drug sales than oil?
Here it is:
1. The sulfur content in Venezuelan oil is one of the highest in the world making it harder and more costly to refine, so it is not attractive for buyers in the world like the Nigerian crude oil and some others, you see why it may not really make sense for the U.S to invade them for something that is not rushed after like others.
2. If a government is seen to be complicit in support of terror or drugs that is affecting the U.S directly then that could be another point, I saw some people mentioning Mexico in the other thread, but Mexico has recently improved their crackdown on drug cartels, though a lot of work still needs to be done and also have been partnering with U.S to take down cartels, I don't think it is the same with Venezuelan government.
3. Cartels know that these drugs come with addiction to the users and there are cases where they lure people with samples for free and the addiction starts which causes them to start stealing and wrecking their lives for the supply.
My question to those seeking Maduro to stay in power, I mean what exactly is the benefit of him staying in power while the country keeps sinking and getting poorer, their inflation was so bad at some point, they stopped counting money in supermarkets, they just bring a scale and weigh your money and give you the item you purchase, price of goods were now sold by weight of the money and not the value.
I even watched a prison documentary and if you think Nigerian prison is bad then you need to visit Venezuela, the prisoners carry guns inside the prison, they have their own police, they have their president and even court, prisoners sentence prisoners inside the prison, some prisoners don't want to leave the prison because it is safer for them due to cartel members looking for them to kill outside.
I notice a lot of people not supporting Trump are Tinubu supporters because they don't want same happening in Nigeria to Tinubu who is doing damage to Nigeria. It's really very baffling to know that the US has such neighbours lurking around them trump deserves commendation for trying to help them restore order. |

DomPerignon: Arrant nonsense.
How many barrels does Abia produce?
Even VAT allocation to Abia is higher than whatever oil revenue , the FG earns from their JVs.
Abia is a net loss to the FG. Sensible people can only take ur arguments serious when nigeria is either divided or restructured that's only when we will finally know who are actually depending on federal VATs for survival and those using nigeria's chaotic politics and structure to develop their regions and systematically suppressing the development of others thereby making them look like they are not actually economically viable regions. |

Politics › Re: Breakdown Of Abia 2026 Proposed Budget. by Mrexcell(m): 2:08pm On Dec 01, 2025 |
DomPerignon: The governor projected revenue of N83.2 billion from FAAC, N67.1 billion from VAT, N26.5 billion from grants and aid, and N168 billion from other federal channels. Combined internal and external revenue for 2026 is estimated at N607.2 billion, leaving a deficit of N409 billion (40% of the budget), which Otti said will be financed through concessional loans. “We shall borrow only when necessary, and such funds will be deployed exclusively for projects capable of repaying themselves in the medium to long term,” he said.
The entire capital expenditure is from Federal handouts and loans guaranteed by same FG.
And tomorrow their people will come here and say they are being marginalised despite their states being a welfare state hooked to the FG. How is it federal hand outs don't you know the federal allocations is coming from proceeds from abia oil and gas? If you really want to know who are really the leeches in nigeria tell ur leaders to divide or restructure nigeria and see the real parasites. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli PM Netanyahu Requests Pardon In Ongoing Corruption Trial by Mrexcell(m): 2:58pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
6 FreeStuffsNG: Smh.
You better go and read up on the issue before you sink deeper in ignorance.
Even the letter itself is a disgrace and huge embarrassment and currently attracting serious protest. Which country in the world will continue to have a criminal as PM same month Sarkozy was sent to jail in France.
The world is looking at them as clowns ruled by criminal who should be turning in his resignation to protect the office and allow the system prosecute him as a citizen instead of an alleged criminal PM.
Every day he stands in the dock as criminal defendant for a crime that investigation has concrete evidence that he committed mocks their whole. He wasn't politically victimized, he was actually indicted and should have resigned, not begging for pardon if his 'country' is sane.
I am sure that you don’t even know who Sarkozy is.
Go and read about what France did to Sarkozy whose corruption while in office is not even as disgraceful as that of Netanyahu. Don't be an olodorabata o. Oga just go and sit down somewhere abeg people like u have absolutely no moral grounds to condemn any president involved in corruption. What corruption can be worse than a full state capture and having criminal records of drug trafficking? Yet u still turn a blind eye and be forming a useless moral police on nairaland. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli PM Netanyahu Requests Pardon In Ongoing Corruption Trial by Mrexcell(m): 2:39pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
FreeStuffsNG: The formal request for a pardon is a reversal for the long-time Israeli leader, who has said the indictments would collapse and that he would prove his innocence in court.
Netanyahu said it was in his “personal interest” to prove his innocence in the ongoing trial, but “the public interest dictates otherwise.” The letter was submitted on Thursday and publicized on Sunday.
This was the corruption trial he wanted to use the Gaza genocide to placate and avoid. He is so corrupt that the prosecution has been beating him in his corruption trial and wants to ambush the court pronouncement of his criminal conviction.
At last, he didn’t defeat Hamas, Iran pummeled him, he didn't get the Isreali soldiers held captive out of Gaza without conceding to Hamas terms, I.C.C warrant over war crimes remains and jail for corruption and genocide hangs over his head.
He lost all his battles he created by himself for himself.
And now this. Smh
Netanyahu don’t know the law Very strange to see a die hard tinibu's supporter condemning PM Netanyahu a man that's obviously far less corrupt than the president he is supporting. |

Politics › Re: Rufai Oseni Reveals Salary Of Nigerian Ambassadors by Mrexcell(m): 11:32am On Nov 30, 2025 |
Nazgul: It’s essentially a retirement position. Most of the nominees are former two-term governors, ministers, and other senior officials. People who are already financially stable after decades in the system.
This position is basically a way for them to relocate abroad and retire comfortably, without worrying about finances or daily pressures. There's no guarantees the retirement is even a permanent one because in 2027 tinibu can be defeated and all of them can easily be called back and replaced. |
