check page 10 of MPCE JAMB brochure for details of highland college of technology and check oxford learners dictionary for the meaning of SCAM. JAMB and NBTE know the management of the school. |
my suggestion is that each one of them should pursue a professional certification in the course they have studied, ican, acca, mcse, ccna, prince2, pmp, mgt, etc. becos all ND graduates frm highland college have been designed to have one and therefore will be ready to work even after ND. if after there professional certification they still want HND or BTech pls ask them to call the director of highlan.college on 08033502136, by oct 2010 |
call The director of highland college on 08033502136, explain your situation and ask how he can help. |
Lead city thank you for providing opportunity and good education to those people who had difficulty in other schools. What would have become of them if not for you. please dont hate lead city instead join and help the youths of this country. |
Courses available; Network& Security systems, Computer hardware technology, Computer Software Engineering and Multimedia Technology have been accredited by NBTE. The curriculum was designed by NBTE. visit our website to download a copy. |
Highland College of Technology is located at Education Zone, off UI-Sango road Samonda, Ibadan. If you take a bus going from the front of UI to sango, drop at the juntion before the AP filling station and ask bike-men for the school. Or drop just before scripture union centre near sango highschool, and follow the road toward Domincan centre, Highland College is about 150 meters fromt the junction |
Admission is on till end of October. |
Mr idiot!, I hope that does not sound rude in anyway considering your username. I have never heard of Interlink Polytechnic till I read your post and I immediately confirmed from the NBTE website that they are accredited. Which means NBTE designed the curriculum they teach as well as all other state and federal universities. NBTE's job is to ensure that all schools are up to standard and teach a defined curriculum for each subject. 1 of NBTE's rules: each class should not have more than 60 students. If you are the administrator of a federal polytechnic or state polytechnic, will admit you students from other polytechnics while you have students from your own ND? Next question is how many can you admit for HND from another considering NBTE's rule above? Anyways Highland College of technology is not same as Interlink and will not be offering HND, rather Highland Tech will offer BTech which NBTE will accredit as the students progress, first set of the students are just finishing the first year of their ND and will be able to progress to BTech. My own younger brother is a student studying Multimedia Technology at Highland College of Technology. I wont offer you what I think will spoil your career. Visit our website highlandcollegeng.com, we are offering high quality education with good lecturers and equipments,no strike, no scratch cards or screening to rip-off candidates. Our students can confirm these. |
Highland Tech, is accredited by the federal ministry of education and NBTE to train students and award ND. The first set of students are completing their second semester already. More details of their courses on page 10 of MPCE brochure. Or check highlandcollegeng.com for more info. As good as top polytechnics if not better. Fees are not high. No screening. just your JAMB score and Olevel required. call Director on 08033502136. |
If after all Post MPCE JAMB screening, you dont get admission despite your high score Highland College of Technology, Ibadan is offering admission to candidates with 120 and above in MPCE. Call the Director on 08033502136. email: info@highlandcollegeng.com |

Results of post MPCE JAMB screening exam for most polytechnic institutions in Nigeria are coming out, while some are yet to take place. Fact is: Admission in Nigeria, either through UME or MPCE, into federal or state institutions is suffering from a funnel syndrome, i.e. many try to get into a limited space. For example, in a recent screening exam it was found that between 300 and 400 candidates (excluding second choice candidates) were screening for a space of 60 students per course (rules by NBTE is that no polytechnic should admit more than 60 into a class). By implication, on average only 1 out of every 6 first choice candidates in a screening exam will likely get admission Questions bothering us 1. What happens to second choice candidates, those who change course and those who did not make the course cut off mark for their first choice? 2. After admission of 60 per course in all polytechnic, will others obtain JAMB forms and wait another year? 3. Will there be less candidates to contest admissions with next year? 4. While they wait and add to the idle youths in the society, what risks are they exposed to? The Federal government in 2007 under Mrs Oby Ekweseli as Minister of Education, launched some additional schools called Innovative Enterprise institutions (IEI) to reduce the funnel problem, one of them is Highland College of Technology (Highland Tech) Ibadan. www.highlandcollegeng.com Highland Tech is now admitting her second set of students into courses at Nationa Diploma Level It is accredited (see page 10 of your MPCE JAMB Brochure) It is private (professionally managed) It is inexpensive (compared with federal and state poly) It is up to standard (if not higher) It offers quality, value adding and life long skills (apprentisehip training) It does not only give you ND but also professional hands-on skills (certification training included) Apply for admission, from the website www.highlandcollegeng.com or visit the school's admission's office at Education Zone, off UI-Sango road, Samonda, Ibadan. You can call the Director on 08033502136 or email info@highlandcollegeng.com No Screening, No scratch cards, just come with your MPCE JAMB result of 120 and above. Admission is on first come, first offer basis. Don't forget, Highland Tech, can only expand the funnel a bit for a few more candidates to get admission into polytechnic, the funnel will still exist, so hurry, don't be left behind, don't slack after your first choice has screened you out. Highland College of Technology (Highland tech), , taking you technically higher. Fox |
