9JAMac10:
As somebody that grew up watching a golden era of Brazilian footballers, it’s actually quite sad seeing where they’re at now.

That country is football obsessed, but something has gone wrong somewhere. Where are the Ronaldos and Ronaldinhos and Cafus? That Selecao is gone.
It is EPL that killed them, those years they mostly play in Seria A and Laliga and hardly select epl players, money influenced and changed them to negative point.

PoliticsRe: 2027 Wont Be About Tinubu Failure, It Is About Stopping Obi At All Costs by MrGerald(m): 2:38pm On Jul 07
manmade:
In my view, Peter Obi has not demonstrated that he has practical solutions to Nigeria's challenges. I see him as someone whose rhetoric has not been matched by a convincing roadmap for governance. Compared to former President Buhari, I believe he would perform no better, and I also question his willingness to make difficult and politically costly decisions.

Meaningful reforms require courage, political will, and the willingness to make difficult decisions despite public criticism. In my opinion, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown more of those qualities through the reforms his administration has pursued. While reasonable people may disagree about the outcomes, I believe Nigeria's long-term progress depends on leaders who are prepared to take tough decisions rather than simply make attractive promises.

A good student of history would understand that countries such as China endured periods of severe economic hardship and international ridicule before achieving rapid development. Through sustained policy reforms, long-term planning, and determined leadership over many years, China transformed itself into one of the world's largest economies and a major global power. My belief is that genuine national transformation requires patience, consistency, and leaders who are prepared to pursue difficult reforms in pursuit of long-term progress.
Your Tinubu before he became president did he grant interviews or any manifesto or blueprint for what he's going to do exactly, now you're supporting his policies and maladministration. Don't worry if God wills, PO would do what you never imagined but will benefit majority of the masses.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Faces ₦50 Billion Defamation Suit by MrGerald(m): 7:57am On Jul 06
Richtaiwo:
When Peter Obi heads to court demanding 50 billion from Kenneth Okonkwo, it is perfectly justified and has nothing to do with hunger. But the moment Arabambi threatens a libel suit seeking the same amount, he suddenly becomes "hungry." Additionally, only Peter Obi and his followers are prosperous, while every other Nigerian is a starving opportunist. By all means, keep the delusion alive, you're doing an excellent job.
In Igbo when you say you don't have an address it's much more than a physical home if you like build mansion full of people this they won't understand, how about your lord and personal savior that said it's a disgrace to mention Obi's name where he is? At the end nothing go happen.

Nigeria is so underdeveloped.
When i see pictures and videos of what Nigerians call "modern" or "developed" i just laugh.

Why can't cities like Abuja build roads with side walk?
What's wrong with Nigerians? Don't they travel outside and see how cities are planned and built?

Go to Rwanda or even Ivory Coast and call abuja or Lagos modern" again when you come back
All the roads in Abuja have sidewalk and well planned.

SportsRe: Which World Cup Team Has The Best Jersey? by MrGerald(m): 5:28pm On Jun 16
Baddest0007:
The Jerseys and Manufacturers of the 2026 FIFA World Cup

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup unfolds across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the tournament marks a historic milestone: the first edition to feature 48 nations. Beyond the tactical battles and athletic brilliance, the World Cup is an unparalleled global showcase of national identity, vividly expressed through the colors and designs of team jerseys. Outfitted by a mix of global sportswear titans and specialized regional manufacturers, the 48 participating teams present a dazzling visual tapestry on the pitches of North America.

The Host Nations
The tournament’s identity is anchored by its three hosts, each sporting kits that reflect their national pride. The United States is outfitted by Nike, traditionally donning a crisp white home jersey with navy and red accents, complemented by a navy or red away kit. To the north, Canada, also partnered with Nike, proudly wears a bold red home jersey with white accents, reversing to white for away fixtures. Mexico, a long-standing partner of Adidas, brings its iconic vibrant green home jersey, detailed with white and red trim, alongside a classic white or black away alternative.

The European Contingent
Europe sends 16 direct qualifiers and one playoff winner, representing the most diverse array of manufacturers. The traditional powerhouses are dominated by the major brands. France wears its legendary deep blue home kit with Nike, while Germany sticks to its classic white home and black away with Adidas. England features a clean white home with navy away from Nike, and Spain showcases its vibrant red home jersey with Adidas. Italy proudly displays its historic Azzurri blue with Adidas, and the Netherlands is unmistakable in its bright orange home kit from Nike. Portugal features a striking red home jersey from Nike, while Belgium opts for red at home and black away with Adidas.

Beyond the giants, specialized manufacturers bring unique flair. Croatia is renowned for its iconic red and white checkerboard home jersey from Nike. Switzerland wears a bold red home kit from Puma, while Denmark features a minimalist, elegant red home jersey from Hummel. Serbia alternates between red and white with Puma, and Poland wears white at home and red away with Nike. Eastern European representation includes Ukraine in bright yellow and blue from Joma, and playoff winner Scotland in a deep navy home kit with white accents from Castore. Austria rounds out the European group in a striking red and white ensemble from Macron.

The South American Powerhouses
South America’s six direct qualifiers and one playoff representative bring passionate color palettes, heavily supported by both global and regional brands. Brazil is synonymous with its iconic canary yellow home jersey and royal blue away kit from Nike. Argentina wears the beloved Albiceleste, light blue and white vertical stripes, with a navy or purple away option from Adidas. Uruguay proudly sports its light blue Celeste home jersey from Puma.

The region also highlights the strength of Latin American manufacturers. Colombia features a bright yellow home kit with blue and red accents from Adidas. Ecuador and Peru are both outfitted by Marathon Sports; Ecuador wears yellow, while Peru is famous for its distinctive white home jersey featuring a bold red diagonal sash. Chile wears a deep red home jersey from Nike, and CONMEBOL playoff representative Paraguay alternates between red and white with Puma.

The African Representatives
Africa’s nine representatives showcase a vibrant mix of pan-African colors and dynamic designs, with Puma holding a particularly strong footprint on the continent. Morocco wears a striking red home jersey with green accents from Puma, while Senegal features a vibrant green home kit from the same brand.. Egypt wears red at home with Puma, and Ivory Coast is unmistakable in its bright orange home jersey from Puma.

Other notable African kits include Ghana in a white home kit with black and red accents from Puma, and Cameroon in a lively green, red, and yellow ensemble from Macron. Tunisia wears a classic red home jersey from Kappa, and South Africa proudly displays its green and gold colors, representing the Bafana Bafana, also from Kappa.

The Asian and Oceanic Delegates
Asia’s eight qualifiers and Oceania’s single representative offer a blend of traditional hues and modern design. Japan is known for its deep blue home jersey from Adidas, while South Korea wears a passionate red home kit from Nike. Iran features a clean white home jersey with green and red accents from Majid, representing the national flag. Australia wears its iconic gold home jersey with green accents from Nike, and Saudi Arabia features a vibrant green home kit from Nike.

The continent also sees Qatar in its distinctive maroon home jersey from Nike, Uzbekistan in white and blue from Joma, and Iraq in a white home kit with red and black details from Adidas. Representing Oceania, New Zealand proudly wears its traditional all-white home jersey, earning them the moniker The All Whites, with a black away alternative from Adidas.

The Remaining CONCACAF Teams
Alongside the hosts, three other nations from the CONCACAF region secured their spots. Costa Rica wears a bold red home jersey with white and blue accents from New Balance. Jamaica brings the vibrant colors of its flag to the pitch with a yellow, green, and black home kit from Puma. Panama completes the regional representation in a red home jersey with white and blue details from New Balance.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is not merely a sporting competition; it is a global exhibition of culture, heritage, and design. The expansion to 48 teams has enriched this visual landscape, allowing manufacturers like Joma, Macron, Majid, and Castore to share the stage with industry behemoths Nike and Adidas. From the Albiceleste stripes of Argentina and the checkerboard of Croatia to the vibrant greens of Nigeria and the gold of Australia, the jerseys of the 2026 World Cup serve as wearable flags. As the matches progress across North American stadiums, these colors will not only identify the teams but will also weave a memorable, colorful narrative of global unity and athletic passion.
Italy and Cameroon go world cup? Definitely from past WC highlights.
