Education › Re: Sex For Mark: "OAU Female Student Should Stop Playing The Victim" - Man Says by MrHistorian: 12:26pm On Apr 10, 2018 |
Tozara: Calm down. She FAILED. She didn't want to accept her failure. So she went to the lecturer to negotiate for additional marks that would help her pass a course she had failed - WRONG. The lecturer indulged her request - WRONG no 2 - and made an unprofessional offer (I wouldn't call it "immoral", 'cause she's an adult, and there's nothing wrong with him fücking her under different circumstances if they both consented) to satisfy his own perverted desires - Wrong no 3. She couldn't accept it, because it didn't favour her, not because she thought NEGOTIATING FOR MARKS YOU DIDN'T EARN WAS WRONG AND CRIMINAL (remember that bribery and corruption are still criminal offences in our constitution) - refer to WRONG NO 1.
Then she called him again to try her luck, probably hoping he would demand for a more comfortable price, while she had a back-up plan in place, to expose him as an unprofessional, perverted jerk and criminal if it doesn't work out, which explains why she recorded the phone conversation from the very beginning. If he hadn't demanded for FIVE TIMES, would she have shared the recording? If she had gotten a better bargain, would she have exposed him? You think if he had given her marks she DIDN'T EARN, hence did not deserve, we would have heard anything at all? If she was innocent and "morally" upright, she wouldn't have gone to him to make a request for illegal and unlawful changes to her woeful marks in the first place. There's no saint here, and there's no victim. Our laws, rules, and regulations, and the noble values of Obafemi Awolowo University, are the victims, and the two idiots and headfucks are the criminals under whose knives OAU's image has been made to bleed.
The lady and the Professor are both morally screwed. She only opted out and decided to play victim because she couldn't get a better bargain. They're both criminals. The toxins in the lifeblood of this cancerous system of ours.
She would be the victim only if it is established that THE PROFESSOR FAILED HER FOR NOT GIVING IN TO HIS PRIOR SEXUAL DEMANDS AND NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS A DULLARD THAT WROTE DOWN NONSENSE IN HER EXAM, which would justify her going to him to negotiate marks, and setting him up to gather evidence for his indictment.
We have no such information yet, so let's wait for the University to conclude their investigation and publicize their findings. Are you a medical student at OAU? |

OAU. This sexual pervasion is a plague in our present day universities. If it's not a lecturer asking for sex from a female student, it is the male students arranging for sex romp between their male lecturers and love-peddlers in exchange for marks or other favours. Professor, there you have your reputation and name soiled because of a 10 minutes pleasure. To even think you confidently bear the "professorship" tag is an embarrassment to OAU. I patiently await the setting up of a disciplinary committe that will ensure atleast a 35 years jail term for this randy and sex-starved fool. |

KingOvo: We should talk bro. I perfectly understand but I don't think eventually anyone would be left out. Even at the face of illegitimate/forged documents, the worst that would happen is for candidates to re-upload their documents or come with it (in person) to the admission office. Maybe I will agree the partial clearing of some candidates and leaving out some builds up anxiety. |

Ajet001: I don't know why I haven't been cleared sha.
Some have been successfully cleared, Given authority to pay, allocated to halls, they now even have Matriculation Numbers.
I think everyone ought to be be carried along with the same pace. Get everyone cleared first before proceeding to other things. Quite funny the 'creator' of the thread is fretting over something as unimportant as the delay in admission clearance. Just so you know, payment of your acceptance fee has placed one of your legs into the school. You just sit back, take a deep breath, demand for a chilled fayrouz and a well garnished suya . Seriously, the delay in the clearance is something one shouldn't panic about. In a day, one can get cleared and get all of these things done. Even if you are cleared at the moment, there is very little that will change other than the fact that you get to know your matric no,hall of residence and maybe a student portal gets activated for you. All these without the 'ACTUAL' commencement of school/hostel fee payment is as pointless as the "ueue" in "queue". The only and maybe possible disadvantage to the delay is that you are unaware if your documents uploaded are credible/acceptable or not. If you are sure none of your documents are forged/fabricated, relax abeg. |

trillville: Nigerians youths must realize that this election is about a generation change. Out with the old and in with the youth. Some of us like(d) GEJ and others still like buhari. Our personal feelings should not destroy the future of Nigeria.
Buhari's generation fought the civil war to keep Nigeria one. We say thank you.
Goodluck's generation fought to bring in democracy. We say another thank you.
None of these older generation people have what it takes to handle today's challenges. Today we face a future of fewer high skilled jobs and mass extreme poverty. All they offer us is band-aid solutions like sure-p, youwin and npower.
Sowore may not solve all our problems but at least we are certain he understands them. In the western world, cleaners, security guards, hair stylists and barbers all earn a living wage. Wages that can rent conducive shelter and enable them to purchase vehicles. Sowore knows that solving our unemployment isn't necessarily about creating new jobs but about raising the living standard of people with jobs that already exist. This simple truth is also shared by ANRP's Tope Fasau.
Think about the returnees from Libya. One even said he wanted to go back there because he could make good money there. Think about the thousands of Africans that die while trying to cross the Mediterranean to get to Europe. All these people want living wages.
Nigeria has one of the widest gaps between the rich and the poor. The older generation believe that anyone without a degree should be poverty stricken. This is where the difference in generational thinking lies, especially with this generation of diaspora Nigerians. This generation needs to close that gap. You sir, are very intelligent. You perfectly narrated the imbalance thriving in our economic system. Are you an economist? |

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The post before the post above mine ; The bitter truth. Keep your anxiety in check guyz, resumption is certain before the end of the month of May. The twist is that no one (except the school's management) can authoritatively affirm the date. Nonetheless, let your presence at home for the time being be very memorable. Contribute your quota to social developmental program in your community and strengthen your relationship with your family members and friends. BTW. . .who else got an invitation to the stakeholders meeting scheduled to hold on Tuesday in UI? |

The MEETING is still on. While pleas have been made to the VC to reduce the outrageous fees. He disclosed that he is also a man under authority, that it was the Senate that made the decision. Olayinka promised to reach back to the Senate and grant a feedback but if in the end, the feedback seemed to be coming late, the resumption would be postponed.
