BluntBoy: Theatre Art is not a world on its own. It is a branch of performing arts. If you read further, you would understand why they take up courses such as classics, mass communication, linguistics.
Every department does a variety of courses outside their major discipline. There is nothing special about that. It is just how education should be. There is hardly a department where you won't do history, statistics, English and some English-related courses, even if they are all combined into a GES course. |

babtoundey: I wanted to ask the same question.
But, Theatre Arts an extension of or alternative to Mass communication? No. It can and will never be. Theatre Arts is a world on its own. As listed above (with reference to Masscomm), Theatre Arts has very numerous arms and each arm is elaborate and interesting. That's why Theatre is always called a synthesis/complexus of many Arts.
It's only in Theatre Arts you will be doing history, classics, Masscom, Linguistics, English related course. Of you can't endure, theatre isn't for you |

I must say...I admire the level of emotional maturity of celebrities who date themselves.
I'm far too insecure to watch my partner grind and wind on the opposite sex in movies or music videos.
This perhaps makes for why many regard celebrity relationship as nothing but showbiz. |

bindukwe: Nigeria's biggest problem is accountability.
No system is in place to hold these office holders accountable for their promises and the goods they have to deliver.
Making a hashtag trend on twitter isn't accountability either.
Our legal system is useless when it comes to cases of these nature. We need an independent agency that will work as a regulatory body for government officers.
If they make a promise, hold it to them till they deliver. And if they can't deliver they should be heavy penalties for it.
How person go dey chop that amount of salary with allowances and bribes, and not deliver anything of note to the people who employed you. What's to say the "independent" agencies wouldn't be Nigerianized along the line? INEC comes to mind... |

Ribasandez: The thing is, if our results on the portal had other things included in them, such as cgpa, total credit units done, etc., they would have qualified as our unofficial statements of results.
However, official statements of results (with the school stamp) are called transcripts. Maybe some schools give transcripts to students (I think my brother in his time got one from OAU) but as a graduate of UNILAG and NOUN which I am and from what I observed, both schools don't give them to students by hand. They only send them to the institutions on your behalf.
In place of certificate, what I know that some universities give is 'To Whom it may concern' which also contains your class (i.e. First class, second class etc) You clearly didn't get me. Attached is a random copy of a typical Nigerian university statement of result.

Ribasandez: Statement of result and transcript mean the same thing.
If you want a formal statement of result with the school's stamp on it, they cannot give you the hard copy or even soft copy. They can only deliver it to a destination (such as a school or company) on your behalf Is this a NOUN thing? Cos this is not so in other universities.. Statement of result is not the same thing as transcript, and the former is in fact issued directly to students when the original certificate isn't available. It is an attestation that one has completed a programme/course. |

safarigirl: what I believe is inconsequential, the only thing that matters is what IS
Nobody has brought any solid proof to counter the age he has always borne, it is all assumptions, and logical people work with facts, not assumptions. I did not ask for facts or prove that he is or isn't 22. I'm interested in what you believe, however inconsequential it is. Not facts. |

heilige: This might be incomplete because he certainly did not conduct any interview with gandola, to hear his own story He does not necessarily have to. He is not out to ascertain the trueness of the bribery saga. The focus of the topic; in my opinion, is to sample public opinion as regards to their perception of the videos, then establish a correlation or contradiction with PMB's anti- corruption agenda. |
