I wish to forward this complain and I wish it receives the best attention possible from this commission as the sole regulatory body for mobile telecommunication companies in Nigeria. My complaints is about the MTN Zone Tariff Plan on the MTN Nigeria network. The MTN zone plan is a Prepaid tariff plan from MTN which allows MTN Subscribers to make cheap calls or get call discounts based on their location. MTN Zone call Discounts ranges from 2k/seconds, 4k/ seconds, 8k/seconds, 12k/seconds, 16k/seconds, 20k/ seconds, 24k/seconds and sometime times, 30k/sec and 40k/seconds. However, I have noticed with dismay in recent weeks that MTN Nigeria has decided to stop consumers from making call at the cheapest rates (2K, 4k and 8k) on this tariff plan. There are also time where the network provider may decide to peg calls at 40k/seconds for a whole day which is quite very expensive. I have written to NCC severally on this issue but no reply or action from them as regards this exploitative act, I want to use this platform to again appeal to the management of the NCC to investigate this matter properly in a bid to bring to an end the excesses of this communication company which is getting much and giving little or nothing back to its customers. Thanks. |

I read with utmost surprise this morning on the pages of some national dailes about the claim of INEC that it doesn't owe all its ad-hoc staff. I will like to state categorically here that Ad-Hoc staff(non-corpers most especially) engaged by the commission in Ogun state are yet to receive their allowances. There seem to be a sort of discrimination between serving corpers and non-corpers engaged by the commission. This same issue raised its ugly head during the training where non-corpers were not paid their training allowances. Sometimes I wonder if these top INEC staff don't get paid very well with them going to the extent of short-changing those engaged by the commission...the stress we go trough working for the commission is too much and now some people will sit down somewhere and start sitting on our money again. I hope the authorities concerned will help look into these issues as another election is coming in a couple of days. Thanks, From An Unemployed Nigerian Trying to make ends meet. |
Actor Muna Obiekwe has died. He died this afternoon around 4:15pm in a hospital in Lagos after a battle with kidney failure. He was rushed to the hospital today after he collapsed at his home. Muna has been quietly battling this kidney disease but kept it hush hush from friends and colleagues. So Sad! A colleague said for over two weeks before he died didn't go for his dialysis. Muna needed money for his health problems but instead of going public to raise money, he told friends he was planning a stage play to raise money but died before he could do it. lindaikeji..nl/2015/01/shocking-sad-news-actor-muna-ibekwe-has.html?m=1

So jonathan was waiting for them to compare his alms purchase to that of GMB before he can do smtin...and besides, it is not about buying military equipment only, it is about the political will to fight the insurgents. So jonathan was waiting for them to compare his alms purchase to that of GMB before he can do smtin...and besides, it is not about buying military equipment only, it is about the political will to fight the insurgents. So jonathan was waiting for them to compare his alms purchase to that of GMB before he can do smtin...and besides, it is not about buying military equipment only, it is about the political will to fight the insurgents. |
