frank043: No sir, it's in this ascending order... Pilot officer, Flying Officer, flight lieutenant, Squadron Leader, Wing Commander, Group Captain, Air Commodore, Air Vice Marshal, Air Marshal, Air Chief Marshal and Marshal of the Nigerian Airforce. There is no SSC commission in the Airforce, just DSSC, which starts with Flying Officer.
If truly you are a 2LT, you MUST be SSC commissioned. An RC can not commit the kinda blunder you are committing. Thanks for the Correction Sir, I was thinking towards the US AIR FORCE, I'm currently doing a Ranger Course there. |

DomainKingTeam: Hi, Please note that a forum is simply a discussion website where users can signup and start any topic. And users of that forum can discuss or debate on any topic. The content of a forum is mostly generated by the users of that forum than the actual admin of the forum.
The best example of a forum is Nairaland where you can create/start any topic & the users of Nairaland can join the discussion & debate on that topic. And almost all the content on Nairaland is created by the users of Nairaland.
Blog is a website that is started by any person (normally the owner/admin of that blog) to post their views & opinion on any topics that they have on their mind. Generally the blogs are updated regularly by the blog owners or their authors. So all the content is generated by the owner or their authors.
The best example for a blog is lindaikejisblog.com. That blog is a blog covering news & entertainment related topics in Nigeria. All the content on her blog is posted by Linda Ijkeki or her authors. So the content is mostly created by the admin. And users can read any post & comment on it.

DomainKingTeam: Hi, Thank you for your interest in registering your domain name for your blog with us.
Please read the following answers of your questions: 1.) If you want to convert your .com blog to your custom .com domain then you then you don't need to buy any hosting plan for this. You just need to register a domain name. Once your domain name is registered you can use our free DNS service to link your custom domain with your .com blog or you can also ask us to integrate it for you.
2) No it is hosted by Google. If you only buy your domain name to link to your .com, then your blog is hosted by Google. And it is not self hosted. Self hosted generally means that you have your own hosting that you have bought from a hosting provider.
3) Your blog will still be hosted on Google. Only your domain name will change from .com to your own .com. All your content of your website and your ads and everything else will remain the same. So in simple words, your blogspost.com blog will change to .com blog and everything else will all be the same. And your website will still be powered by Google.
4) Yes, you just need to register a domain name if you want to change your .com blog to custom .com domain. There is nothing else that is required. You can register your domain from here: http://www.domainking.ng/domain-registration/
For registering your domain name this guide will be helpful for you: http://www.domainking.ng/articles/how-to-register-your-domain-name/
Once your domain is registered you can contact our support and we will help and guide you with all the integration process.
5) Please note that Google .com blog linked with custom .com, .ng etc. domain name is hosted by Google. Self hosted simply means a website hosted that is hosted on your own hosting that you have bought from any hosting provider.
So for example if you have bought hosting plan to host your simple HTML website, then it is self hosted as you have bought your own hosting for your website.
And similarly if you have a .com blog then it is hosted by Google Blogger. If you have a blog, then it is hosted by
I would like to clarify once again that a blog is hosted by Google on their servers. And even after you have linked your .com blog to your custom domain your blog will still be hosted by Google. You will use the same blogger.com interface to post your blog posts, your ads will be the same, your template will be the same . Everything will remain the same but only your domain name will change from .com to your .com domain.
I hope I have clarified all your queries.
Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.
Best Regards, Karan domainking.NG What's the Difference between A forum and A blog? What do I need to start a Forum, an Educational one Sir, Thanks in Advance. |

cmax16: Commissioned officer are those that graduated from the Nigerian defence academy, they can rise to become full fledged generals depending on further studies and off course who you know or as it were before now, who's/which successful coup you helped installed.
Non commissioned officers gets into the army through the Nigerian Army graduate (DSSC) employment. Someone who gets in via this route will definitely not rise in the army as fast as someone who went through the full complimentary course at NDA. If you attain the rank of Colonel through this route, count your stars lucky.
I believe this is what the lady was trying to say when she referenced commissioned and non commissioned officer.
@OP, it will be practicably impossible to run a business you will oversee directly and still work in the army...unless of course you have develop and put in place mechanism to make the business run without you being physically possible, a thing I suppose most businesses in Nigeria aren't equipped for.
Not long on nairaland there was a thread that explains the real difference between an entrepreneur and self-employed. Non-Commissioned Officers are the recruits, Commissioned Officer are from 2nd Lieutenant {ARMY}, Midshipman{NAVY}, Flying Officer{AIRFORCE} and above whether DSSC OR RCC |

Xbabangida: Its a lieutenant that's a commissioned officer not a second lieutenant. You people r just arguing blindly. You Are The One Arguing Blindly, I'm A 2nd Lieutenant and all 2nd Lieutenant are Commissioned Officers. |

dopedealer: I don't usually do FTC Number 1 is possible only if both of us are using a customized plate number e.g Dopedealer Number 2 is also possible if you buy your property from dopedealer Number 3 I never heard of it it in past expect exceptional cases like a mixup on twins. The reason why I said this was bcus me and my dad once registered for CIPM exams individually ... Using almost same details. The only difference was first name. All other details were same. I figured out they later replaced my profile with my dads own out of confusion... Even the one of property, I saw a news where two churches were laying claim to a land, both had original documents but one was older than the other. The older one won the case. |
