A. What u love: you have to go for a breed of dog u cherish, reasons u ought to know best, cos this will go along way making u taking good care of the dog.
You know getting a quality pup is the 1st step.
(Ai) taking good care of the dog is another step.

B.) You ought to consider the place you reside and what breed that dominates and way to break even as u said u want to set up a kennel.

E.g i have seen people confessing their love for
1. big dogs : in this case they so much want COs, GDs TMs tho not that popular.
2. Muscle dogs: here they like BBs, BMs, CCs, e.t.c
3. Then agility and working, you talk bout GSD.

BONE AND RAW FOOD (BARF)

I've not given my lil princess bone
Though i've the intention of introducing it to her frm her 5th month,
Knowing there ve been alot of agitation n arguement online,

Some website will advice u never to give ur dog uncooked meat, or cooked bone as it may splinter and cause harm to the dog.

Some web will encourage u to feed raw, it keeps the gum and teeth healthy and also make their stool firm, for the parasite and bacteria, the dog stomach is acidic enough to take care of it, tho u gotta keep ur deworming and vacination updated.

This whole thing ve taken the situation to ON YOUR OWN thing (OYO)

Though i still seek for advice here, cos petlanders have never let me down. Buh it was unanswered, 2days ago i decided give raw a trial.
I started with brisket bone, and xena welcomed it in excitement, to be candid, her stool ve any be as firm as this her current chippins.

As IamAnderson and Vincentjk said every dog have their eating pattern.
Like today Xena fed much, she munched almost everything i provided.
Buh as u said, i observed she prefer eating at night, so i'll equally adjust to feeding her favourite at 9t, which i'm yet to discover cos she's unpredictable with meals.

For swallow with draw soup esp (okra) which almost everyone have testified how their dog loves it. Unfortunately i have not introduced swallow to xena, i trust which i do, she will be excited tho.
