Have you tried removing and inserting the battery then power it on and see if it boots normally then you can flash back the cwm recovery.img

hello guys...i did tried to update the phone too but then during the process it failed and aborted. so now whenever i turned on the phone it never even run to the TECNO LOGO. all it does is to keep on running to recovery mode. i did formatted in the recovery but still the problem exist. i cant do anything with the phone. someone who will to help too. I'm having a STOCK RECOVERY so i cant do anything..wish i had like carliv..but im havong a stock recovery. guess there is something wrong with the boot stuff...it cannot complete. HELPPPP

I updated my tecno f6 but the battery still drains fast deosnt even last up to 30mins I thought it was a software issue but when I managed to insert my brothers tecno f5 battery into the phone it worked well for long .the problem is the fake battery that tecno kept. It isn't 2000mah it's so obvious from the moment you feel how light and empty the battery was...I'll just get another tecno battery that fits into the phone.If you have a tecno 6 and you have manageto solve your battery issue pleasE kinly sharE

MTK android IMEI to a Blackberry (Or, any
device IMEI) using MTK Engineering MOD(does not require root access)
downloadable from the Google PlayStore.
1- Download MTK Engineering Mod from
the PlayStore.
2- Open/Lunch the MTK Engineering Mode
on your phone.
3- Click/Select MTK Settings.
4- Navigate left to Connectivity .
5- On the connectivity panel, select CDS
Information.
6- On the CDS section, select Radio
Information.
7- Now, select either the SIM1 or SIM2,
depending on whichever SIM you wish to
change its IMEI.
8- On this page, click on the AT+ and type E. About four
(4) options should be presented to you, just
choose either of this options below:
AT+ EGMR=1,10,”” - for SIM 2
AT+ EGMR=1,7,”” - for SIM 1
Don’t forget to put the IMEI you wish to
change to in-between this signs “” above then put cursor between AT and +, tap the space bar
9- Now, tap/click the Send AT Command
option.
10-Reboot your phone

I finally figured out an easy way to gain full Shell root access and cwm...what kingroot does is provide su binaries for "secure" root...simply put,not all apps work or work properly with this kind of rooting..but as u can c,I am using super user..not king user..which provides me root access on interactive shell...and its straight forward and easy to do..but needs a pc,if u need this method.. Reply here and I'll post it ASAP

guy u should not take dat cpu-z too seriously o, some of its info r not correct, all d tecno battery i used it to checks says 1000mah, even my p9 with 3000mah still shows 1000mah on it. N imagin it says d screen size of my f6 s 4.59 inch. N dat my f6 has root access when it's not even rooted

Guys am i the only one who found out that TECNO F6 battery is 1000mAh instead of 2100mAh? Download CPU-Z from Google play store and check your battery capacity.

I've done that. Once i boot into recovery the E: can't open tmp/recovery.log pop up. When i click the backup it starts and abort when about to begin system backup. The clockworkmod backup that shows in my sdcard contains only boot.img and recovery.img and nothing else.

- Android Terminal Emulator -> Download Android Terminal Here
- King Root -> Download King Root
- Flash Image Binary -> Download Flash Image Binary
- MTKMobile Uncle -> Search Google Play

Rooting
If your phone is Bricked! And you need this, i only assume you are rooted!

Installing Flash Image Binary
Flash image is a binary used to easily flash a recovery image unto any Android Device, and in the case of this tutorial, we are flashing the default Android Recovery for Tecno F6 (Please search Default Recovery for your Device). Install the Terminal Emulator and use any File Manager e.g Xplore to extract flash_image.zip to your /sdcard1 so we have flash_image file on your sdcard

Open Terminal Emulator and write the following commands


Please press Enter after each line! Flash Image is installed, now extract the recovery.zip file into /storage/sdcard1 so we have /storage/sdcard1/recovery.img

Open Terminal Emulator and write the following commands



The Recovery is Installed!!!!!! So we have the default Recovery Again!

Reinstalling The Stock ROM
Open MTKMobile Uncle and boot into the Default recovery! And select "Factory Reset"

This option is the best as it brings the phone back again!. If you have a problem with that, then download the stock rom and rename to update.zip and click "Apply update from sdcard" and the Stock Rom should be installed

I can help you... I would backup my Working Default Tecno F6 ROM and send to you so you flash it and your phone will be back.

You can still install OTA update with Carliv Touch Recovery that is what I use. Not CWM

@Uman01 and you can root the phone using kingroot mate..just go through http://kingroot.net/down and download kingroot..make sure your phone has internet access. install the apk to you phone and press the green button and there your phone will be rooted

Do you have CWM recovery on phone? Can Your phone boot into CWM recovery, if it can, relax, your phone will come back alive.

If not, don't worry, we will work around it.

@Uman01 I'm from Tanzania and i do have the CWM in my phone. Hello there developers. I'm using Tecno F6 and install CWM but then i never new if resetting it in a normal way of going through SETTINGS > BACKUP & RESET could cause problems..so the next thing i found my device acting weird during the process of formatting so believing i'm saving the phone from further injury i decided to disconnect the battery and then i turned it on and there it is..HOME button doesnt work, notification panel doesnt show nothing, and if i hold power button it only brings two options, REBOOT and SHUT DOWN while at first it had so many options. Please help..i must have tampered the OS i believe

AND by the way Guys for those with CWM in their phone the OTA update wont work at atll..during the process of installing it will give you this error sayin the update is for tecno f6 and the device is MTK..i dont understand now. But that is what happened to me...

okay so try to factory reset the phone and see if that solve GAMES issue

it is okay mate. now do you know how to install whatsapp PLUS to the phone..cos that is a serious disease i cant cure and i wanna have the app in my phone. i tried to uninstall the per-installed version of whatsapp but still wherever i try to install whatsapp plus i cant. can you do the trick? or anyone with an idea please!!!

and hey you can try to FACTORY DATA RESET your phone which will return your phone to default mode as it came to from the company. but carefully backup your important stuffs first o else you might lose them. such as contacts and all that!
