PoliticsWe Kill Because We Don't Like Your Laws By The Miyetti Allah Cattle by mrroy91(op): 12:08pm On Jan 15, 2018
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, MACBAN, yesterday, disclosed that the killings and attacks experienced in several parts of the country from herdsmen were being fuelled by the draconian laws put in place by some state governments to drive out Fulani herdsmen due to ethnic hatred.

Consequently, Miyetti Allah said it lost over 1,000 person, including children, women and the aged, and over two million cattle to ethnic militia put in place by these states to kill herdsmen.

“The trend of attacks on our defenceless members by ethnic militias oiled by a deliberate profiling through coordinated media campaigns against our members, to say the least, is the worst crime against humanity,” the group said.

Speaking in Abuja, General Secretary of MACBAN, Baba Usman Ngeljarma, gave details of how its members were killed, saying: “We confirm the position of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, that in spite of the fact that 732 of our people were killed in Mambila and 82 women and children killed in Numan, nobody was arrested.

‘’We, hereby, demand the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators of these heinous crimes without further.

“We further state that the refutal of the Emir’s position by the Taraba State governor is merely a continuation of his desperate act of hiding the state government’s involvement and protection of the perpetrators of these acts.

PoliticsRe: No Need To Fight The Herdsmen..just Do This. by mrroy91(m): 1:26pm On Jan 14, 2018
[quote author=gists post=64181002]Pls tell me you are joking
Is this supposed to be a solution?

ok. The farmers spray the chemicals and all the cows dies. do you think that will stop the killings? Is killing another persons animal not a crime in itself. Do you think you can stop a crime by commiting another?

More importantly, to show you your suggestion is one of the most ridiculous ideas, what will you do when the herdsmen attacks the community for killing their cows? Will you spray chemicals for their guns also embarassed Or you think they will just take it as a act of God that lots of cows just dies after grazing on a particular community?

This is why this country is in this situation. We lack deep thinking. We feared this will happen because we suspected PDP does not have the right intellectual capacity to be a good opposition and put APC on their toes.

What we should do is continue to mount pressure on the government and do its constitutional role of protecting lives and properties. Get justice done. Arrest the killers on both sides. Seize the killers' cows and farms and hand over to ministry of agric or something or put an army barrack there - just build a barrier like ranching as has been suggested.

Killing the cows is stup!d and counter productive.
This bloodletting must stop.

Your likes always ascribe intellectual sagacity to yourselves because your ability to write long post with little or no understanding of the topic in discuss.
If cows happen to die by eating up peoples farmland how is that a crime?
The real crime here is the initial destruction of the farmland by the cows.
The kind of fear u ve for the herdsmen as demonstrated here is inept cowardice
If a thief upon robbing your house found himself attracted to a food unknown to him was a trap for rats happen to die from its consumption I hope u will present yourself as a murderer.

PoliticsRe: Timeline Of Marauding Herdsmen Attacks On Benue State From 2013-2018 by mrroy91(m): 3:48pm On Jan 08, 2018
HungerBAD:
Politics aside.

This is very bad.

Does this mean there are no security/military personnel in Benue to protect lives and properties?

Before somebody will say it is Buhari's fault, since all fishes eat human flesh, but it is the Shark(Buhari) that takes the blame.

Go back and do the counting.

Under the PDP Government, Benue State was attacked an unbelievable 33 times.

Until the APC 13 times.

But even one attack anywhere in Nigeria, is an attack too many, and that is why Buratai have to move some troops to Benue to protect the people there from these marauding herdsmen.

I am first a Nigerian before anything, and that is why I pray President Buhari should look into the Menace of these Herdsmen.

How did you come to the conclusion of 33:13? You dont necessarily have to fake mathematical ignorance to prove your point, this ain't APC vs PDP but about hard working farmers being butchered like cows
PoliticsRe: Benue APC Chairman Says Herdsmen Killings Is An Invitation To War by mrroy91(m): 2:42pm On Jan 03, 2018
My heartfelt sympathy is with the people of Benue state and thank you mr chairman for speaking up irrespective of what effect it might have, if only the elites could shun political correctness and desist from politicising peoples lives and if only we the masses especially the youths could stop dissing themselves along religious and ethnic lines and resist temptation of being used as political media attack dogs, understand that together we can initiate a movement to force the government to at least do their primary function. It is never north vs south neither will it be Christians vs Muslims, bombs don't discriminate neither do guns.

The difference is always that the elites and their families/associates will never be where they can be bombed or butchered.

At the end you will realise that it is as it have been; elites vs the poor masses and they don't care enough if they care at all.

We will continue to curse ourselves and wail to deaf ears until we realise we have common enemy.
May the souls of the dead find peace in the supernatural world.
